WHAT STORIES WILL CHANGE CONDITIONS

An elderly Chinese woman had two large pots. Each hung on the ends of a pole, which she carried across her neck. One of the pots had a crack in it while the other pot was perfect and always delivered a full portion of water. At the end of the long walk from the stream to the house the cracked pot arrived only half full.

For a full two years this went on daily with the woman bringing home only one and a half pots of water. Of course, the perfect pot was proud of its accomplishments. But the poor cracked pot was ashamed of its own imperfection, and miserable that it could only do half of what it had been made to do.

After 2 years of what it perceived to be bitter failure it spoke to the woman one day by the stream. "I am ashamed of myself, because this crack in my side causes water to leak out all the way back to your house."

The old woman smiled, "Did you notice that there are flowers on your side of the path, but not on the other pot's side?"

"That's because I have always known about your flaw so I planted flower seeds on your side of the path, and every day while we walk back you water them. For two years I have been able to pick these beautiful flowers to decorate the table. Without you being just the way you are, there would not be this beauty to grace the house."

Each of us has our own unique flaw, but it's the cracks and flaws we each have that make our lives together so very interesting and rewarding. You've just got to take each person for what they are and look for the good in them. ~anon

NOTE TO A BEAUTIFUL YOUNG WOMAN

“You need not take your own picture. It isn't your perception of yourself that attracts. It is what you exude. It is the intangible something that says look over here there is mystery, promise and something that might surprise me. You should discover it first before anyone else otherwise you run the risk of never seeing it well enough to claim and classify as your own. There is no need to prolong the process of self-discovery. Let it happen.” - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories

SONGS OF FREEDOM Redemption song. . .

Freedom

“… one of the challenges of being a thinking and socially conscious American citizen is the reality of being spied on by the Federal government. It has been my experience as a young man, and today it is part of everyday life. It has only been a few years since Internet providers in the name of dictatorial patriotism gave our privacy away to President Bush and his Homeland Security, and it changed us, or did it? How much thinking goes into our liberty that doesn’t polarize us I wonder? The new technology comes with evasive components that tracks and follows us wherever we go, and we behave as if we have no voice of dissent. It is strange how luxury and convenience have been allowed to compromise our concepts of freedom.” ©Gregory E. Woods

CATHY HUGHES

TEMIKA MOORE

“What an impressive woman to stand next to. Cathy Hughes, since she and her husband partnered in business at 1450 WOL Am radio in the 1970's, has been a beacon of light and worthy of study. The least I can say describes how fine she is.

My father and I marched in front of the White House with Cathy Hughes and others in the 1990's. I was struck and startled by the reflection of sunlight upon her aura which shone from within. Her walk was sexy and powerful with purpose made clear when she spoke, or looked into your eyes.

Both times spaced by 20 years burned my flesh and instilled renewed purpose within me.” - Gregory E. Woods

A group of men were in their cabin. It was getting dark and there was no electricity. A couple of these men were always telling jokes and funny stories or playing pranks on people. Jim spoke out in the dark room and said, “Hey Joe. You know what?”

“What?” Joe replied.
Jim said, “Of all the birds in the bird kingdom, the woodpecker has the shortest life span.”
“Really?” said Joe.
“Yep,” said Jim.
“Boy you must be a very smart man to know this,” said Joe.
“Yep!” said Jim, “I am a smart man.”

After a few moments of silence, an elderly man spoke out from a dark corner on the other side of the room and said, “You know, I would not live long either if all I did was beat my head upside of a tree all day long.” Everyone in the room burst out laughing. http://www.anishinaabemdaa.com/legend-3.htm

The most compelling force upon a man is the form of a woman that blends with the multiple things that attracts the form of his essence to the form of a woman's essence that is always completing herself! PROPHECY: the beginning

south african woman - Freespiritsioux Tessa

"The caverns of Earth are filled with pestilential dust which once was the bones, the flesh, the bodies of great ones who sat upon thrones, deciding causes, possessing treasures, governing armies, conquering provinces, tearing down temples, flattering themselves with pride, majesty, fortune, praise, and dominion. These glories have passed like the dark smoke thrown out by the fires of Popocatepetl, leaving no monuments but the rude skins on which they are written." -Nezahualcoyotl, Aztec poet-philosopher of medieval Mexico [Otomi transcription, translated by Brinton]

"... Aboriginal peoples are being driven off the land every day, an incalculable human loss, and into the exploding cities. Their lands are destroyed by logging and hydroelectric dams, by cattle ranches and monocrop plantations, or poisoned by oil and mineral extraction. Indigenous sovereignty and treaty rights are trampled.

The wellbeing of humanity and the natural world is savaged by a system predicated on the pursuit of wealth and addictive consumption of what is, in the long run, worthless junk. People are seduced by the most powerful manipulation of symbols in history to crave this junk and to value it over anything else that life offers, over their own humanity and all other lives..."

Freespiritsioux Tessa

..."Conservative" has lost its meaning. What is being conserved? The infrastructure of the imperial homeland itself has been left to crumble: bridges collapse, while hospitals, public transportation and other crucial programs are defunded. New Orleans was flooded, as was predicted, because the levees weren’t maintained, and black people are prevented from returning to their homes, so that politically connected developers will profit..."

FASHION: an African story

Carine Roitfeld
Carine Roitfeld's Style Secrets

12 May 2009

French Vogue editor (and Anna Wintour's rumoured successor) Carine Roitfeld has revealed her style secrets in an interview with Acne Paper and insists she barely ever wears jeans.

Carine said: "I only wear jeans and flat shoes when I am on holiday, never for work. Jeans suit me very well but it's not for me anymore. It's horrible to say but it has something to do with age."

She added: "Jeans are for my assistants..."

Carine said on her own style: "If people ask me to describe my look I always say: quite classic with an edge. Look at my dress. It doesn't look like I have on anything special, it’s more the way you mix the clothes and how you move, how you open your bag, how you cross your legs - just little things that make a difference. "

The editor also put paid to rumours she weighs members of staff in her office: "People think I weigh my girls in the office but I do not. We have a scale in the office because we travel a lot and sometimes you can't bring more than 25 kilos a case. It’s just to weigh my luggage, not to weigh my editors."

Is it wrong we sort of hoped this rumour was true?!

Carine Roitfeld
"It's a new kind of project for me."

Carine Roitfeld to style for Barneys

24 March 2011

Former French Vogue editor Carine Roitfeld is to become US store Barneys guest editor and stylist for fall/winter 2011-12.

Carine Roitfeld is to become Barneys guest editor and stylist for fall/winter 2011-12.

The former French Vogue editor - who left her position at the prestigious magazine in January - has teamed up with the US store to style and edit their Mario Sorrenti-shot advertising campaign, catalogue, newsletters, as well as the windows in their New York store, which will be unveiled in September.

Speaking about her new role, Carine told WWD: "It's very exciting. It's a new kind of project for me. It's good to have a new life, because now I can do projects that I never dreamed of before. For me, Barneys has always been the biggest name in luxury department stores, so to be able to participate in this project with them, and be visible during the next fashion week in New York, is my dream come true. To a French girl, it's a big, big dream."

Carine says she was drawn to the offer from Barneys because it gives her the opportunity to try something new.

She said: "To be on the other side with the retailers and buyers is new for me, and I always like new opportunities in my life. When I was doing my styling, most of the time I was thinking about a real woman who was going to wear the clothes. Sometimes I was thinking about myself, sometimes about a woman who really inspired me, but it was always about the woman. Working with Barneys, and choosing the looks, I was thinking about whether a real woman would buy this outfit and feel beautiful and comfortable."

Carine Roitfeld prefers curvy models

18 October 2011

Carine Roitfeld always preferred using ''curvy'' models to skinny females when editing French Vogue.

Carine Roitfeld prefers using "curvy" models.

The former French vogue editor insists she never used models she thought were too thin in the magazine as she felt a responsibility to her readers, in particular because she knew her children would see the images.

She said: "In my 10 years, I never put a girl that was too skinny in French Vogue. I think readers can be very impressionable and you have to pay attention to what you tell them and put in the magazine.

And I tell myself that my kids are going to read the magazine and I don't want them to feel bad.

"I prefer to use curvy girls like Lara Stone."

Carine believes none of the women depicted in the magazine were ever objectified and she always tried to give the impression of "strong" females.

She added in an interview with the Independent newspaper: "I don't think the woman in French Vogue was an object. She was always a real woman.

"Even if there was a lot of bondage around her, I don't think she looks like she is suffering. If she wears high heels and a garter belt, it's because it's what she wants. She's a strong woman."

Fashion professionals have taken the definition of big and large, and ample outside of its definitions, and applied meanings initially designed to assuage the insecurities of European women who paled in attributes African women were born with. In the centuries past when European men first gasped in astonishment at African women’s extraordinary figures, and collapsed from taking in the enormity of their breasts and thighs, and behinds their minds muddied with lust, and they began campaigns of conquest into the continent. White men long subordinate to oppressive, and conservative views around sexuality and obsessed with fulfilling raging lust for women, children, other men, and animals were presented with a challenge by African women. Faced with a social structure deemed superior by its legacy and the depths of its spirituality, education and insights into Nature, the universe and the mysterious natures of Water, Earth and Sky African women, the African continent, and its cultures intellectually assaulted French, Spanish, English, Dutch, and Portuguese men standing on the dark soil of Africa.

Today that legacy of reaction and thought is publicly flaunted in fashion statements and comments made by fashion professionals, and critics like former French Vogue editor, Carine Roitfeld’s claim: “I prefer to use curvy girls like Lara Stone.” – Gregory E. Woods

PAMELA ANDERSON: marriage

I am enamored of Pamela Anderson and her flaws. I find them and enjoy the contrast between what is actually beautiful about her with what is attractive within her and what she wants to project as perfect against her flaws.  She is creative and full of her Self: the self that frees itself from constraints of opinion and dogma. Any of her shows I watch because she continues to grow and re-define herself.

"Love is the greatest, clearest and cleanest motivation for anything done in the universe. If it is not clean it is not love. If it is not inpired by love it is not a clear light or clear idea. If it is not motivated by love it is of small worth and not great at all! Love is a true and accurate knowledge of, the true value you have for, and the true worth that you place on anything and anyone you live for, and give your life for! You breathe it, feel it and live for it. You breathe them, feel them and live for them. Is there some captivating purpose that you live for? perfectly formed woman in bathroom taking her picture tells a story of undevelopment she may not be able to see or discern.

" One of the issues with the "men reflect what their womb teach" is that the society is so hyper-masculinized. That has caused women to suppress a great deal of innate feminine nature in an attempt to be valued. It usually happens so subconsciously that we don't realize it, which makes it harder to correct. That's how you get so many men who continue to suppress their own femininity & the outward mirror of that principal (actual women), even though they "adore" their mothers. Because their mothers in fact suppressed so much of their own femininity that they couldn't teach their sons to behave differently." - Michelle Lynn Harvey

“… Black Men are heavily influenced by European cultures to the high degrees of alarm and concern for the generations to come, and the pain of our collective histories informs our teaching style, and how we pass knowledge to the succeeding generations. Influenced largely by Europe’s concepts fatherhood has successfully reduced the natural form of African-empowered energies to the lowest form of energies of suppression through religion, intimidation, fear, and the acquisition of things. Now based on monetary concerns children, women, and families are tormented by sub-standards fathered by the Child Supported system, a system of beliefs divorced from the standards of ancient systems..” – Gregory E. famous American actress: BRIDGET MOYNAHAN

Bridget Moynahan, actress, is an exotic beauty !!!!

a LOVERS STORY: the bond

"an Indian woman fell for me. i thought she was simply lonely or just a prostitute. i have never been with a prostitute. she said she wasn't one. she was recently divorced and looking for a husband. being american she thought i would not be a stickler for her traditions and maybe would like her enough to spend time with her, take care of her. i couldn't take her out of the country but for the two years in India she was my woman. i had to take her to another town far from her people to avoid ridicule. it was a solemn time in a sense because we came from two different worlds and she was considered an untouchable and i was american.

we lived together for four months before we had sex. she was offended at first but i never berated her and she liked that and took care of me. she cooked for me and washed my clothes and took care of our apartment. at night we watched tv and got to know each other watching tv and eating in bed. she never had eaten in bed or thought of doing such a thing until we got together.

one afternoon as she was falling asleep her head, on my stomach, her slim nakedness got to me and i pulled her face up to mine and gently caressed it. it was a gentle kindness in my touch as she slowly came fully awake. she had been wearing a short thin see through for a couple of weeks she was so comfortable with me, and i slid it up. when i was in her i found the depth of her pussy and saw her soul in its fragmented colors and the need she had to connect her soul with mine. i wouldn't come for a long time. i was on top of her between her legs and the entire length of me was buried in her vagina. she groaned and moaned under me staring in my eyes.

i saw fear first, then i saw acceptance, as she slowly gyrated her hips in a rhythmic pattern matching our breathing together. looking deep into each others eyes we bonded our spirits together holding dear the moment, the feeling, the love of ourselves with each other. that first time was a uniting force that has not been able to fade over the years.

we made love a lot and eventually began to fuck wildly. then i learned how much fantasy and technique lived in her imagination as it came out for me. her fuck and her love making were serious for her and being held, honored and loved was a balm, it seemed, for and on her soul. i loved and still love her. i miss being with her and grief in our absence wondering if i did enough to keep her or enough to get her out of the country. but in the end india is her home and she couldn't leave it anymore than i could not not go back to america." -

Motherfucker

What is being said from deep in our psyche dreaming about, or worse, binding women with ropes, and chains? What are women saying aloud about themselves and the womb we are supposed to cherish when they submit themselves to sexual torture, and what are we saying to our children, as men, having and giving into hellish fantasy centered around slavery, sex, bondage, torture, and orgasms? What is not being said aloud? How deep is this hatred of self, the feminine and the trust we abandoned in the sacredness of love and life?  - Dawn Wolf, Keeper of Stories (2007)

BEAUTY QUEEN #4

Whoppi Goldberg & Jenna Jameson

Whoopi Goldberg is one of the best looking, beautiful women in the public eye. In addition to her talent, her originality, and her voice Whoopi’s aging process is the most mature. She stands above today’s aging women embracing as the norm a belief system that is killing their souls. Whoopi Goldberg segues from one season in her life to the next as if her life is a breath one after another. As she ages her skin relaxes as she relaxes within her body. She dresses according to her will, and insist on a relationship with a beautiful body defined by African standards and the standards set by the nature of her body. There is a depth to her emotions, and her intellect one cannot pass over or dismiss because she does not have any of the European traits of beauty so highly valued.

Propped up by her gracious spirit Whoopi Goldberg has perfected the art of embracing and holding the energies of divers people. Her attempts to see into the worlds and the vision of countless people’s souls has given her access to people from every sphere of this world. She is the safe place. Her arms and her breasts hold the energies of love and acceptance, and many a soul has found solace in her embrace.” - Gregory E. Woods

LIFE AFTER A DIVORCE

http://www.theliberationtemple.org/

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Have you ever experienced getting dumped in a relationship and not knowing how you were going to make it? Often times, the tragedy of ending a so-called good relationship can be painful at first, but over time, you learn to deal with the hurt. In many cases, the ending of one relationship makes it difficult for you to trust in the next one. The same questions surface in your mind such as can I trust him/her, will they treat me nice, and do they have the same goals and aspirations as I do? There are many more reasons, but leaving a relationship and starting a new one can be scary but also exciting.

Married couples who decide that their relationship isn't worth salvaging will choose to either separate or file for a divorce. In other words, they've both agreed that the best thing to do for the relationship is to sever it. Some relationships end without any drama, but there are others that are dramatic and traumatic. You know how it goes - one person doesn't want the other to leave and will do whatever it takes to make their partner's life a living hell. I want you to get into your spirit that you don't have to be married to divorce yourself from something unproductive and unfulfilling.

In this spiritual journey, once you give your life to God, you've divorced yourself from the enemy. Let me say it this way. When you make up your mind that you're tired of living in the devil's family and want to get your life right, you notify Satan you're divorcing him. Please don't be naïve into thinking that Satan is going to allow you to leave without a fight. In fact, he'll always fight and scheme to get you back because he hates that you've decided to live for God. Leaving Satan's family means that you have a new life; a life filled with happiness, joy, and peace. This new life means that you have power on the inside that can help you deal with anything on the outside. When you divorce yourself from Satan and allow God to be the head of your life, you can begin living.

In writing to the people of Galatia, the apostle Paul helps us understand what it means to live in the Spirit. For Paul, when we divorce ourselves from Satan and living according to the flesh and decide to live for God, we'll experience "Love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control." That's shouting material because you can live a better and more fulfilled life after your divorce. As I close this message, I encourage you to divorce yourself from Satan and anything that is contrary to the will of God. You can have a better life, if you allow God to guide you. This is the time to repent and once you do, get ready to start living.

“Let me play the devil's advocate and ask if there is a mediation process in this transition? It seems there has to be. Divorcing a spouse has stages, and emotional pitfalls. Following the pattern of logic an instantaneous transition seems astounding. How do old habits, and family patterns suddenly fall away in Christ? Do they?” –Dawn Wolf, Keeper of Stories

ANGRY YOUNG MEN

Prayers are fine. I don't refute that, but young men in a culture made of fire develop deep thirsts. He needs balancing elements to guide him, and understand him with detachment and care. Water is the very element. Anytime his anger shows itself or smolders in a room place water around him, under beds, atop furniture. No need for a lot of conversation to cool hot surfaces.” Dawn Wolf, Keeper of the Drum

Civil rights protesters of the 1960's

In the 1960's Christmas felt, with the sounds of protest in the air, the way white Americans defined freedom. Today Donald Trump is on the VIEW as a guest. Barbara Walters thinks he is one of the most interesting men in the public eye. He is interesting, but he embraces a sense of patriotism and Americanism that should alarm more people than it does when looking into the faces of Black men and women fighting, in the 1960's, for freedom, dignity, self-worth, and first-class citizenship, or today studying the faces of poor white Americans who haven't grasped the enormity of their inconsistent beliefs that on the one hand supported the legislation that shovel American jobs out of the country, and on the other hand enriched the corporations that run rough shod over their dreams.

Of President Obama Donald Trump said to the VIEW panel, "I really thought he'd be a great cheerleader for this country... I have never seen this country so divided as it is now...”

Barbara Walters said something indiscernible among the cacophony of her co-hosts’ voices to which Trump responded, “… and maybe it is the Republicans also. It’s not just his fault. But the country is divided and the world is taking advantage of us, and they are taking away our wealth. I mean you go to some of these countries their streets are paved with gold, and we have potholes all over the place!”

Whoopi Goldberg appeared to be chewing her lip her face twisted with troubled thoughts. She answered Trump. “But you do realize that the European Union right now is on its knees. I mean the Euro is going down the toilet. Europe and the nations are in the worst crisis they’ve ever been in. I’m not sure where the gold is coming in!!”

“ When I look at nations I am talking about China.” Trump answered. “I am talking about India… They’re manipulating their currency! China they’re taking our jobs. They’re making our products. They’re laughing at us. They think we are so stupid they can’t believe it!”

Simpleton. Here we are in 2011 after decades of dismantling American freedoms, crippling the economic structure of the country, and dummying down the education system, and the long years of struggle by American citizens to maintain a higher standard of living beyond merely existing with crude mundane conservative approaches to life that hovered in fear from the social advancements of various groups and causes. We learned, among other things, how to not pay attention to the predictions and prophecies about the outcome of accepting the culture of the military industrial complex and how to avoid contemplation about the important things of commerce, and ethics, and morality and the outcome of foreign policy strategies that benefit us to the detriment of other country’s well being.

We are wobbling on uncertain support systems clinging to paradigms, and values, and convictions reeking with the foul odors of greed, conquest, and other elements we can’t be proud of and as a nation we take pleasure feeling triumphant over the failures of President Obama who ascended into office with the purpose of trying correct what is wrong with America in the 11th hour of our existence not as a Messiah, but as one at the helm of a collective effort. Not willing to change to change a large segment of our government chose infantile and stubborn behaviours that enjoyed not being cooperative. They entertained the mentality of a bygone time in the 1960’s and earlier when white America obsessed over racial supremacy despite the obvious outcome upon their souls, and the soul of the nation.
