a MEDICINE STORY of my life. . .

A mysterious sexy cowgirl confronted me. I was sleep, in what I thought was an isolated and remote land. I must’ve been real tired. I didn't hear a thing. She was on foot, and I was on her land she said. Wasn't much to say.

“Hi.”

That was all I could get out. She was mean. It took me awhile to shirk the initial fear, and realize how she was dressed, and how fine she was. I was too scared to study her. She had a rifle slung over her shoulder, and the knife hid in the small of my back was useless should I say something out the way, and give her reason to shoot my defenseless black ass. Out of the corner of my eyes I saw no one else. If she had a horse it was awful quiet. Horses tend to communicate to each other when another is near, and mine was silent off a ways munching on grass.

The longer she stood there the more aroused I got. There was nothing else to do. Her sensuality was slowly oozing out of her and my body was reacting to it against my will, and fear of being shot and left for dead. If she saw how aroused I was would she shoot it off? I didn't know. I didn't know what she’d do, and she didn't talk.

I could smell the leather of my saddle and the slight stench of my weathered sandals lying near my head. I curled my feet under my blanket to distract myself. It wasn't working. I was definitely aroused, and she wasn't making it easier on me looking at me so. © Gregory E. Woods 12.9.12

SEDUCTION OF spirit is seduction of mind. . .

Ana de la Reguera's small tits one brother told me, tightened the grip of his imagination with the steam of passion and conditioned him to behave himself, and stand at the ready to do whatever the woman (any woman of his desire) holding him captive would say, and require. - Dawn Wolf, Keeper of Stories 11.24.12

ROLL MODELS

Melysaa Grace will be starring in a new show, ROLL MODELS, that premiers June 27, 2013.
Debuthttp://bit.ly/TheRollModels

The show, Roll Models, is about the underside of Orange County, California. Orange County, for those unfamiliar, is the symbol of American wealth, decadence, aloofness, and excess. Countless people aspire to those ideals without a thought for the repercussions to soul, mind, confidence and family legacies. But, for the upstanding it is a wonderful way of life.

The show debuts 27 June 2013.- Gregory E. Woods

YESTERDAY 8 months ago

Kelly Madison is posted because she was the first
smiling face I saw online this morning.

"There is a lot I've said about Education, but the less said about it reveals the most about it. "

I am sitting at my desk on, what I just heard on the television is, the last day of fall. It is the 30th day of November 2012. I am writing today, and you are reading this on the 26th of June next year. If you read this the second it came up it is 8:56 AM. In a novel sense this is time travel. What it is is time manipulation. Playing with perceptions is to write upon the stars, and upon the Earth. Play with perceptions is to write from the past directly into the future. It is a direct penetration into the folds of existence, and a probing finger into the belly of questions about the movements within and between worlds. It is not unlike the mysterious ability of anyone to stand in the dark of night in the mountains, or the open plains anywhere in the world in the present moment looking up at the stars to see the past, and within their being; their centered being see, dream and project into the future. Being in 3 places at one time is the minimum capacity of understanding about Time average people have about the illusion of time. It is the fact and reality of worlds that separates and frightens average souls from the perceptions of children and masters accessing worlds with ease, and confidence.

On the other side of the views into realms of life are people studying themselves as we are looking at ourselves to 'see' with the depth of the Present into the wellspring of multiple existences upon and within the Earth realms. It is the concentric circles that confound average minds, and inform the terror of linear minds thinking they can contain the forces of change, movement and transformation. It is an innocent acknowledgement, on their part, to the mysterious things around our terrestrial lives, but the fears of linear, and conservative minds retards growth, and narrows children, and religious people to the small patches of Earth in front of them. They can't see in other worlds.

There are millions of people today reeling in disbelief in the wake of Romney's loss to President Obama! It is astounding on several levels the most profound of which is the deep reluctance of his like-minded followers to look squarely in the face of a long time coming change in the United States: the shift in demographics. American's might is questionable. Looking into the illusions we've supported ourselves is a frantic nervousness in the tones of American diplomacy, and the resistant elements within the Republican party to admit it needs to protect the whiteness of what they feel makes America great! Denying it has been a haphazard joke, and millions of us suffer from the brunt of the joke. Racial tensions have not subsided; inequality is the definitive quality of reform in education, services, and the infrastructure, which suffers in silence. The collapse of bridges, and roads will jar Congress into late action. Right now the minimal and dismal attention to the structure of the roads, and what physically holds the country intact is numbed into silence with enormous arrogance, and a need to control selfishly.

The selfishness in the halls of Congress, and the rooms of corporate boardrooms are the trademark of our country, and I don't see the spiritual, and economic pillars of the country changed by June of next year. It isn't feasible because Americans prefer to try and solve problems from the surface. If we did we'd restructure the structures.

But, if I am dead in June it will mess with reader's head if they personally know me. It will be an "Oh, shit!" moment. But for now I am alive and it is the last day of last November, and I am writing in my office. My cat, Teacher, is to my left on my bookcase looking out the window on a chilled afternoon. It is 1436 hours. Teacher is sitting on my Coyote skin in deep contemplation as I am myself deeply contemplating the simple things of my life that bring me joy, and mystery to that joy.

I'd stepped outside a little while ago wrapped up in my black cape I've had since I was young in North Africa. Our postman is a Black woman, a rather good looking one, with a full deep brown-colored face, and a loud embracing laugh. It's funny. Not 16 years ago mail carriers would be engaging in conversations, and listening to portable radios. Now, they are on phones. The sound is different. There are more monologues in public, less communication, more selfishness, and fears have grown like weeds in an unattended field.

I am moving away from working with disturbed youth into the light of children full of light who want to learn, and I'm developing relationships with white facilitators in the peace keeping field in large part because of the disillusionment Black Americans seem to give credit and credence to, and the commitment in our circles to not growing in the deepest, and more creative ways. Well, I could go on a bit, but my eyes are tired, and I need to rest my mind, and my spirit. - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories 11.30.12

"A sweeping gesture is the initial gaze into this woman's presence, and the gasp comes from not believing, and from believing what is captured by the photographer, and what the model has within her composure is the butterfly flutter of the song she vibrates, and the type of prose that begets the start of something new to arise from the comfortable places where creativity is dormant.

In her face is the beginning of understanding beautiful moments, a beautiful woman, a song whispered in the clouds, and the breath of Life, so short, but expanded by the beautiful things women consciously nurture and arouse with the vision and inspiration of their souls!" - Gregory E. Woods (11.30.12)

HONOR OUR ANCESTORS

Beyoncé Knowles, 21st century business woman

Beyoncé Knowles is a woman to take notes from and study if we are, as a People, going to compete and mean something in the 21st century. If we are to be taken seriously the old domineering sense of helplessness, entitlement, of being and feeling oppressed has to die, and live elsewhere replaced by a definition of self, grounded in truth of being.

The cultural landscape has changed profoundly. In the United States the population of immigrants unfamiliar with our rage, the feel, and sense of our place in American history, and culture are disconnected from the dynamics between whites and Blacks. These people are changing how Black Americans are viewed, and taken care of by the lives they create, and live. In subservient positions other ethnic groups are learning from us, and profiting from that knowledge.

Japanese coming to live in the United States are told Black folks are the ‘Ladder People’, I've been told, because fortunes can be built upon the shoulders of African-Americans. If that does not change us we will be exchanged, or handled loosely as change! © Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories (11.02.12)

DAMN, That's right!!!

Ah, the life!
Walmart plays a significant role in the American landscape. As I travel the country it is strange the way Walmart sucks the life out of the host cities, and towns. The dreams, and the small and mid-size businesses are vaporized. It is pointless to talk about it because the support of a nation addicted to convenience becomes mindless, and not too far from killing their grandchildren to feed their children. - Dawn Wolf, Keeper of Stories 6.11.13

SANZIENE, a Romanian holy day

Every year, on 24th of June,
Romanians celebrate the holiday of Sanziene.

"The legend says that in long lost times, the Sanziene used to be priestesses of the Sun, but as their believes are lost in the mists of time, today they are considered beneficial fairies of extreme beauty. Some specialists say that the Sanziene celebration is a Geto-Dacian celebration of the Sun, millenniums old. In the night of 23-24th June, the Sanziene, who live in forests and plains, come out of their hiding places and dance the night away in circles. Where the Sanziene dance, the plants grow healthier and stronger, filled with healing properties." - RiseRa Light

IN LIGHT ENLIGHTENMENT

SPIRITUAL GROWTH & DEVELOPMENT

"Make not mistake about it — enlightenment is a destructive process. It has nothing to do with becoming better or being happier. Enlightenment is the crumbling away of untruth. It's seeing through the facade of pretense. It's the complete eradication of everything we imagined to be true." - Adyashanti

This statement arrested me today when I saw it. It is a fundamental truth lying dormant within great souls too young to express themselves, or grown folk too weak to rise above their circumstances, and tell themselves the truth! But it is important, I think, to speak these things as if they belong within the chambers, and the confines, and the landscape of Soul. They belong there, but primitive, and crude teaching of the Student within is the general practice of educating children without the prerequisite of initiation into the Mysteries into Adulthood! This approach to development is the author, and creator of dysfunction, but Adyashanti's words don't need to be taught they need to be embodied. – Gregory E. Woods (11.9.12)

MARRIAGE COMMITMENT

June 23, 2012: Anyone know what spurs are for? They are for an unresponsive horse... or a lazy one... or one that's a little too smart for it's own good. They aren't meant to hurt the animal, just meant to give the horse an extra nudge. So one could say spurs are primarily used to get a horse to do what you want.
At a wedding we attended this afternoon the couple, Dillon and Britney, hung their spurs on the cross. What this symbolizes is that with Jesus they are along for the ride. They won't try to speed Him up or slow Him down, but ride at His perfect pace wherever He may lead them.
Bravo, you two. Bravo.

Gentleness. . .

The gentleness of some is like
A polished shell with silky feel,
Lacking the precious pearl within
Oblivious of the brother’s weal.

When you shall meet one who is strong
And gentle too, pray feast your eyes;
For he is glorious to behold,
The blind can see his qualities.

LISTENING vs SEEING

Dance of the Dead - Luiseno

Once a year the People of Kamak left their village and went up Palomar Mountain to gather acorns. Everyone went, young and old, and even the ill were carried along on litters so that the village could stay together at this important time. The houses were left empty; no one was afraid of thieves in those days.

While the village was deserted, a man from another nearby village called Ahoya came to Kamak. He found everyone gone. He knew where they had gone, and why, so he knew he could not see his friends on this trip. He decided to spend the night and go on his way the next morning. He did not go into anyone's house, but rather he took a large basket normally used to store grain and turned it over. He crawled under the basket, where the wind could not bother him. He fell asleep.

In the early evening, but long after dark, he was awakened by someone calling People out to dance. At first he thought the People of Kamak had come back from acorn-gathering. Then, being an old man, he began to recognize the voices of People he had known many years ago, but who were now long dead. He began to realize that the voices were spirits of the Dead! While the People of Kamak were away, the Dead had returned to dance.
The old man lay quietly under the basket, listening to the voices of all the People, all the way back to the ancient days. He heard the Woman-who-was-turned- into-rock as she sang. He heard the Man-who- scooped-rock-with-his-hand as he sang. All the People of the ancient days were here in the village again.

The old man could not stand to wait any longer. After he had listened for hours, he wanted to look at the People he had known as a young man and the faces of the People he had only heard about in the old stories. He threw the basket off and looked where the Dead had been dancing.

There was only a flock of birds, and they flew away, startled by the basket overturning. The turtle shell rattle the Dead had played all night as they danced lay on the ground. It was now just a piece of soaproot

The old man was not allowed to see the Dance of the Dead.

SMILE AT IT ALL

A fan, Mina, felt and said that Angelina Jolie looked old and sickly. She leaps into an arena most are afraid and added "... time catches up to everyone." She apparently is attuned to the relationship fundamental to Life, our deaths. There is no hint of hesitancy in her bold observation of how things move and work together. That should be respected and pondered.

I think Mina is addressing the wane look in an otherwise lovely face, and the suggestions Angelina's slouch makes stands separate from what is admirable about the actress. It seems to Mina, and others Angelina Jolie would be more robust being such an accomplished woman in the spotlight, not a suggestion of weakness of form. - Gregory E. Woods 6.12.13

Memoirs Of A Nubian - Ourstory
September 29, 2013
A Black father kneeling and kissing the womb of his pregnant wife and his daughter on his shoulders kissing her mother on the lips is an endearing and enduring image in my mind. Why? Perhaps it has everything to do with my own upbringing and what I was exposed to wherever I lived around the globe. I don't think I would have sustained this as a cultural paradigm had I stayed in the United States, and swam in its cosmologies. Outside of that state of being one's perspective can widen, and embrace another understanding of the sacred and envision another cosmology, and absorb the scent or taste of the symbolism of the tri-unity of family that knows the order of birth-life-death-resurrection!
