Jimmy Kimmel is a reminder alongside the likes of Conan about the duplicity of standards in American public life. The powers that be in TV land will never allow the likes of an Arsenio Hall to overshadow the mediocrity of lesser white talent in this industry. It is a cultural pattern we are apparently lacking in the maturity to outgrow, and the sophistication to move from this pattern of thought, belief and practice. - Gregory E.
