That has caused women to suppress a great deal of innate feminine nature in an attempt to be valued. It usually happens so subconsciously that we don't realize it, which makes it harder to correct. That's how you get so many men who continue to suppress their own femininity & the outward mirror of that principal (actual women), even though they "adore" their mothers.
