  1. 'The Thunderer' surrounded by two knotted Uktenas. The Thunderer represents the greatest warrior. When Cherokees went to war or conflict they would ask for the Thunderer to come with them on their trek as well as his son 'Red Lightning'. Red lightning was the fastest of all warriors.
    Some also say that this symbol shows protection from bad medicine being used against you.
