I've read a little of this book, and discussed it extensively with my father. It is in his library. The subject Daddy and I have discussed in various forms over the years. My father is a retired diplomat so you can imagine the insights shared and discussed over the years.
It is disturbing how little Americans are informed of the real world events that shape policies and life in general. Obsessed and distracted by trivia, sensational murder trails, and sex controversies and movements any and everything has happened to us adversely. What awakens the dull, and the dozing? You don't. You let their dreams turn into nightmares. That might work. 9/11 didn't. So the question becomes when is enough enough?, or did I just say the same thing twice? ~ Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories
