The Power of Confidence
Dr. Sinclair Grey III

In this spiritual journey, God expects you to be a confident believer. I heard a preacher say, 'God didn't call you to be weak, but bold.' Anytime you realize God created you with a purpose, you won't apologize to others for what God has blessed you with. Failure to have confidence in yourself is a reflection of your belief and trust in God. When you tell yourself you can, you'll develop the strength to handle all the 'hell' around you. The enemy doesn't want you to know there's power in having confidence. That's right; when you're confident in yourself and your ability to function in your calling, you won't settle for settling and you won't allow yourself to be played, disrespected, nor disregarded.

In writing to the Philippians, the apostle Paul declared, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Please don't miss this. You can't use these words for yourself unless you're willing to believe. When you believe in the words, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me," you'll be able to start your own business, go back to school to finish your degree or get another one, have productive relationships, forgive those who've abused you, and so much more. The reason you can do it is because God's given you the power to do so. It's up to you to step out on faith and trust Him. As I close this message, I'm urging you not to allow people, things, or systems to strip you of your self-confidence because there's so much in that God is able to use. 5.22.13
