CAPTIVES aren't freed

Richard Sanchez's Photography
I cannot speak for white Americans, or the curious belief held by people who are charmed by captive animals in zoos. Visiting zoos has been one of the more gory and troubling things I've done in life, and don't wish to repeat it. As far back as any of us can remember my African and Native relatives have fought to secure safety from the captivity the Americans deemed worthy of our station in life as they prescribe it. - Gregory E.
