IN Prayer

One of 2010 calendar pictures. - Xanny

"What is said in prayer, said in silence sits with and within us the way light sits in front of darkness with revelations about the next day. To come into the kindness of dusk is to sit at the end of a day lived fully is the best way to end a day. It is like a little death the release into dusk knowing the night will come, that night comes with rest and sleep into the black of closed eyes, and the awakening into the dreams in the sacred Dreamtime, where our souls live without the body during the nights our bodies rest in slumber!

So, it is prayer, the language not prayer, the crier, that touches the tenderness of our vulnerabilities. Hmmm... Do you see that?" - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories 2.24.14
