Blessing God

Too many people want God to bless them with this and bless them with that, however, they refuse to bless God in any way, shape, or form. Let me say it this way. Whenever people have a 'give me' mentality with God, they really don't know who God is. In other words, they identify God with what He does not with who He is. Here's the Sinclair remix. People with a 'give me' mentality will never truly appreciate God.
The Psalmist declared, "For the Lord is righteous; He loves righteous deeds; the upright shall behold His face." Please don't miss this. In the midst of your prayers, tell God about Himself. Just don't say, 'give me this and give me that.' Brag on God about Himself. For some who may not understand what I mean, I need to draw this analogy. When you compliment people on what they wear, where they live, or what they drive, compliment God on His grace, mercy, wondrous deeds, and splendid creation. Remember this - if you want to know God, seek His face not just His hand.
