So here is what someone (not me) has compiled about Sandra Bullock's life:

She's one of Hollywood's highest paid actresses, and for good reason! Everyone loves Sandra Bullock! From her more serious, award-winning roles in films like "The Blind Side" to her lighter, hilarious turns in classics like "Miss Congeniality," Sandra has been charming audiences since she got her big break in 1994's "Speed." With her newest flick "Minions" hitting theaters on July 10, 2015, we're taking a look back at Sandra's life in pictures.

Sandra Bullock was born on July 26, 1964, in Arlington, Va., but spent much of her childhood traveling through Europe with her mother, a German opera singer. Sandra caught the entertainment bug after making her first appearance on stage with a tiny role in an opera in Germany when she was 5. While she told People magazine that junior high was "hell," since she'd just returned to America right before enrolling and didn't fit in, Sandra ended up flourishing in high school. Heavily involved in both theater productions and on the cheerleading squad, Sandra graduated and went on to study acting at East Carolina University.

Sandra Bullock dropped out of college in 1986 and moved to New York City to try her hand at acting. After landing her first gig in an off-Broadway play, Sandra found an agent. Her first jobs, however, weren't very glamorous: They ranged from B-movies to short-lived sitcoms, including 1990's "Working Girl."

















Sandra Bullock thought her first major break came in 1993 when she was cast to replace Lori Petty in the Sylvester Stallone film "Demolition Man" -- but the film received terrible reviews. Despite the lack of quality material, Entertainment Weekly pointed out that Sandra made "something out of a nothing role." The next year, Sandra Bullock landed the role that would make her a household name. Audiences loved her performance opposite Keanu Reeves in the 1994 action flick "Speed," and her career skyrocketed. After "Speed," Sandra Bullock became a box-office darling, dominating multiplexes in films like "While You Were Sleeping," "Hope Floats," "The Net" and 1998's "Practical Magic" alongside Nicole Kidman.

In 1996, Sandra Bullock linked up with her "A Time to Kill" costar Matthew McConaughey. Things got serious and Sandra reportedly moved to Austin to be closer to Matthew. "You never know when you'll fall in love; you don't expect it. And I fell in love with Austin," Bullock explained to In Style magazine. The two broke up in late 1997, but remained good friends. In 1998, Sandra Bullock developed her own production company, Fortis Films. Her younger sister, Gesine Bullock-Prado, helped run the business, which went on to produce films with Warner Bros. that brought in $700 million at the box office, according to Forbes magazine.

Sandra Bullock ushered in the aughts with 2000's "Miss Congeniality." The flick really let her comedic talents shine, and thanks to its box-office success, Sandy signed on for a sequel in 2005. Switching gears, Sandra Bullock tried her hand at executive producing in 2002. After meeting stand-up comedian George Lopez, she agreed to serve as EP on his ABC sitcom "George Lopez." The successful television show ran for six seasons. The same year she made the transition to executive producing television, Sandra Bullock also starred in the psychological thriller "Murder by Numbers" alongside a young Ryan Gosling. The two hit it off, and despite their 16-year age difference, went on to date for a year.

In 2004, Sandra Bullock starred in the drama "Crash." Some critics considered it the best performance of her career, and it was the first of many roles that would take Sandra to the Oscars. The film won the Academy Award for Best Picture. Sandra Bullock fell for tattooed motorcycle man Jesse James in 2003. The two met when Sandra had arranged for her 10-year-old godson to meet the "Monster Garage" star. Sandra and Jesse married two years later in July 2005.

Sandra Bullock had a big year in 2009: She enjoyed huge commercial success with her Ryan Reynolds romantic comedy "The Proposal," and her sports drama "The Blind Side" that same year marked a turning point in her career as Sandy won both a Golden Globe and an Academy Award for Best Actress for her performance. After winning the Academy Award for Best Actress in March 2010 for her work in "The Blind Side," Sandra Bullock stepped out of the spotlight. She faced difficulty in her personal life when it was revealed just eight days after her Oscar win that her husband Jesse James had cheated on her, something he would later publicly confess. Sandra filed for divorce in April 2010.

In the midst of the divorce drama, Sandra Bullock debuted her adopted son Louis Bullock on the cover of People magazine. Opening up abut the adoption process, Sandra explained that she and ex-husband Jesse James brought Louis home in January 2010 but chose to keep him out of the public eye. After starting divorce proceedings, Sandra shared that she would be finalizing the adoption as a single parent.

Making her return to the big screen after a brief break from the spotlight, Sandra Bullock starred in 2013's "Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close" alongside Tom Hanks. The film ended up garnering an Academy Award nomination for Best Picture. Sandra Bullock had a big year in 2013 too. The actress released two films: the box office smash "The Heat" alongside Melissa McCarthy, and the critically acclaimed drama "Gravity" with George Clooney. Her success with these two major roles led Entertainment Weekly to name her its 2013 Entertainer of the Year.

In 2014, Sandra Bullock topped Forbes' list of the highest earning actresses thanks to her estimated haul of $51 million. Sandy could credit her roles in 2013's "The Heat" and "Gravity" for the honor, with the latter also landing her an Academy Award nomination for Best Actress. People magazine named Sandra Bullock the "World's Most Beautiful Woman" in 2015. Next up, Sandra can be heard voicing the villainess in the animated film "Minions."
