One Black woman asks a question. photographer, Roland Dawson. |
What is profound? What is telling her story and to whom is the story told? What does a woman, any woman balance between? It is not balancing what, but balancing who that perhaps distinguishes the roles she must play? I don't know, but the pose and the artistry plays a role serving to the eye and other senses a vague sense of who she is, and what she is conveying balancing herself. - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories Feb. 17, 2017
