How A Woman Sees Herself.

Valerie Baber said, "He wants me to wear this dress again, but I told him he'd have to work for it. He loved that I gave him a challenge. Ladies, value what they value. Make them earn it." (April 2018)

Beneath This Art.

… Anastasia Lux as a dream is a dream. The challenge with dreams are the illusions we believe, or the reality we make of the dreams we have about the women we want to have. But, every want isn't an answer. They can turn into questions we deny exist. Anastasia Lux this way is discovering what men have had, but will any understand what was lost prior to this moment in her life? To get inside some women's bed isn't to get what one needs, but to get into what ails them... - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories 3/30/19

Sacred Art Work by Le Ah Tiamat titled, "Sky Qwake"

[The] study of self is the study of soul. Diana Prince here is composed of those elements a man studies to see himself better. The appearance of what is reflected from within is its own unfolding of what is truth, or fantasy. . .

Rise, Resist, Reveal.

Tattoos on her body are astounding.
Unable to take the eyes away from the art the mind experiences change.

"... naked beneath her black gown. The hidden pleasure increases knowing it is your woman with the surprise, the secret of her being with you as a gift of soul. This is the root of soul, the core of unity in marriage, as a husband feels matrimony." ~ Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories

"Man can resist what he has never had, yearn for what he does not need, and man can fall into traps that appear otherwise. The scent of certain women lessens internal strength, and is smug enough to believe in its power over an ideal of purity. Advise in ideals is to resist the devil and he shall flee from you has no validity in a person unpracticed in developing his/her intellect, deepening the soul's convictions, or acquainted with death, in the sense of dissolving illusions. Otherwise, it is a quaint saying. . ." ~ Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories 12/10/18

She Through His Lenses

Immaturity and beauty playing within Svetlana Frolikova
Photo taken by Etay Appelberg. [October 2018]

Immaturity has an unskilled way of posing. It takes time and a process of initiation to properly hone the craft a girl needs to become a woman in the deeper sense of Being. Posing has its purpose. It is beauty being photographed and other intangibles praised in the silence of a still pose. Either direction it is a moment and moments gathered together tell stories we all need to extend ourselves... - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories 10/11/18

Insight from a Liar.

Today, during the Congressional hearings centered around Michael Cohen he answered Rep. Jim Cooper's question with these words: "... and I can only warn people. The more people that follow Mr. Trump, as I did blindly, are going to suffer the same consequences that I am suffering!"

Mr. Cooper asked: "What warning would you give young people, who are tempted as you were. Would you encourage them not to wait ten years to see the light? What advise would you give young people, in particular young lawyers, so they do not abuse their bar license, as you did?"

Cohen spoke from deep within for this answer.

"Look at what's happening to me. I had a wonderful life. I have a beautiful wife. I have two amazing children. I achieved financial success by the age of 39. I didn't go to work with Mr. Trump because I had to. I went to work for him because I wanted to, and I've lost it all. So, if I'm not a picture perfect..." He glanced to his left pointing to something out of camera range which I assume was a derogatory statement in large black print about him hanging on the wall behind the panel before him, and continued:

"That's the picture that should be up there. If I am not a picture perfect example of what not to do that's the example I'm trying to set for my children. You make mistakes in life, and I've owned them, and I've taken responsibility for them, and I am paying a huge price, as is my family. So, if that in and of itself isn't enough to dissuade somebody from acting in the callous manner that I did. I'm not sure that person has any chance very much like I am in right now." - Gregory E. White Women as Subjects

10 minute pose, graphite for Glamour & Fetish Art
Art is from the hand of Tim Kelly, from Baltimore.

This title: "White Women as Subjects" is a volatile one. It is one subject in history too often unknown in depth by today's young American women activists. As well, they are subject to emotions convinced that the intensity of their reactions to social conditions is enough to make the walls of Jericho to come tumbling down! This isn't naivety. This is ignorance. The ignorance of assumption is primarily laziness. Activism is hard work. The hard part of it is the research. Research is work, and respectful of those who lived our pasts.

Understanding European history is basic to the Women's Movement. It explains; no, makes clear why the movement is first and primarily a white woman's struggle to be free. Other women are subjects to the 'crown'. Because of events unique to the 20th century, other women feel apart of this movement. Because the societal changes in the U.S. need to be white led, and the fact of what ails the souls of white women this movement is fraught with internal contradictions. For Black and Red women, the struggle is to free themselves from the histories of their past with white women, and their white men, who traveled the world killing and taking from the rest of the world. In this conquest, the inherent terror white women harbor within their wombs is of concern to us only in our relationship to the horror of what they did to other people's women!

If there is to be a woman's movement let the white women have theirs, and let our women have theirs off camera at the soul level in the ancestral realms...

ELDER TALK: understanding

Introspection evolves around stillness the way stillness requires attentiveness to surface within a person learning to learn from themselves about the worlds within them. It isn't a revolutionary process; it is transformative within the quiet of Being.

"Who am I alive?" is a question to ask in these moments of knowing. - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories [September 28, 2018

Mother Story

Asana held by a pregnant mother, Maxandlizacro taken by @miz.liz

Postpartum. . The part of pregnancy and birth that is the least talked about and often the least prepared for. For me it was a sweet, yet extremely challenging time. . .

For the first 2 days after Ella was born I couldn't even sit up in bed without unbearable pain. I had a broken coccyx and 8 perineal stitches. This made learning to breastfeed very frustrating for Ella and for me. I didn't leave the house for over 2 weeks. Overwhelmed uncomfortable feelings and crazy mood swings (thanks to massive hormonal changes) left me in bed all day obsessing over the number of poopy diapers and not making enough milk. . .

My Midwife (who is an actual angel) showed up for me almost every day those first couple weeks with donated breastmilk, homeopathic remedies, herbal ointments, and coconut ice cream. She did Cranio-sacral therapy with Ella and me and helped us navigate the steep learning curve of breastfeeding. My mom (also an angel) stayed at my house for a week cleaning doing laundry and making every nourishing anti-inflammatory meal from scratch; so Trevor and I could focus on recovery and loving on our new baby.

We also had an abundance of love and support from friends and family who brought us meals, put my nursery together (@megwaldrop), did energy work on us (@tracysageking @happinessatx), and sent words of encouragement. My husband (@colmchiropractic) gave me chiropractic adjustments almost every day to help my body with the healing process. . .

For those of you who are pregnant for the first time- I want you to know that postpartum is harder than you think its going to be ,but it will get easier and you will get back on your feet. Don't hesitate to ask for help and support. You will 100% need it. I pray that you get amazing care and support from your tribe in your time of recovery. . .
