It is a pity, and serves no small measure of purpose to not plunge into the depths of African spirituality where ever one lives throughout the African Diaspora. The insistence upon the superficial acknowledgements of skin tone speaks more of an immature state of being, and strengthens the fears harbored by 'Black White People' not acquainted with freedom. It must be a painful thing for wise elders and ancestors to hear the same songs from people from so deeply disconnected from the land, and from a conscious genius and the relationship with the historical and spiritual genesis of their people." -Gregory E.
