"In love" That phrase again. What does that mean? It seems to be an identification unique to Western culture with a set of implications best suited for speculation at a safe distance.

Love, I understand deeply. Love is action. It is an act of power, and it is stronger than Death.

Vulnerability, I fully understand. It is part of the action of loving someone. It is the special space that has to occur to allow the winds of change, and the echoes of promise to become audible, and felt keenly. Being vulnerable happens involuntarily through sex, or being in the midst of extreme danger, like gun fights. But the vulnerability in the action of love is a pillar for the energy, and the growing commitment to be within the folds of love, and loving someone else beyond and within yourself. - Gregory E.
