AWAKENING THE BLACK COMMUNITY

"Whoever slaps you doesn't love you. Whoever cusses you out doesn't respect you. Whoever bashes your dreams doesn't see God's Spirit and anointing in you. And whoever constantly puts you down is insecure about you."Dr-Sinclair N. Grey III (1.26.13)

"Last week, I was blessed to be at a banquet where the keynote speaker was Congressman Elijah Cummings. A dynamic and gifted leader, Congressman Cummings spoke from his heart these words, "Turn your pain into passion and your passion into your purpose."

These words help to reaffirm that all of us have a divine purpose. Our purpose is more than praising God. Yes, that is one purpose, but we are living in a world that needs people to stand up and speak out. I'm challenging you to look within yourself to find your pain and turn it into your passion and you'll have your purpose. Whatever it is, if it's from God, you can make a difference. When you're ready, God will open doors for you. However, you must be willing to do your part. If you're not willing to sacrifice and sweat for your purpose, then you'll simply miss out." - Rev. Sinclair Grey III 1.26.13

"The Declaration of Independence speaks of "...all Men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness."

Many politicians like to quote these words but fail to deal with the least and left out. These words speak of all people regardless of race, culture, gender, or orientation. We must always hold them accountable for their actions or lack thereof. When we see people as being human (not superior or inferior) then we can set the example and be the example for future generations to follow." - Dr. Grey 1.25.13
