Friendship between women is liken unto ...

Women, even as girls, innocently; no, playfully tease the lines of sensuality, intimacy, and friendship. Their ways of crossing over those lines make judgment seem an affront to the freedom of their will. How it seems is not as simple as touching each other's bottoms. It is as complex as feeling defiance and free expression hush the raw nerves of men who want them. It is like scraping their nails across the hostility of men's historical relationship with law and judgment over them in modern societies.
