II.

"Death is the final stage of growth. The seed dies to bring the plant." was one of the deeper teachings Old Man gave me in our years together. Those teachings did not come to me from him as if he was a drop of water and I, the mouth gaped wide beneath the faucet. We were a process where his harshness jarred my senses, his examples sheared away the layers of sleep with awareness of time as a non-consequential point of reference, and the space between consciousness, and magic were narrowing my perceptions into formlessness that kept me in a state of learning, and hunting. Our way was the old way of Grandfather and Grandson, Teacher and Student, Master and pupil.

This tutelage opened me up to the places I was familiar with before and during my childhood. You see my dilemma was one of relevance, and I was not relevant as a young man. The obsessions and preoccupations of my peers were curiosities to me. I gazed at what held them transfixed fascinated, but untouched, or enamored as they were with the things they worked hard for. Looking for and finding work stirred the deepest sorrows within me. What I was born for had no place in the time I needed to feed my family. So, I learned to shift and change myself into a body of energy that appealed to whomever needed to be impressed enough by me to hire me. It worked to the degree that I had food, fire, shelter, raiment and water. It was enough! We did not die, nor were we wet in the rain. Our stomachs did not rumble us to sleep, and the fire did not go out. For that I was grateful.

We lived next to forests deep and wide. I was grateful. My teachers lived in those forests, and I learned, developed and arranged myself into the mists of dawn, the intergalactic exchanges of twilight, the internal dialogues of night time, and the surprises of daylight! What that means is not simple, yet it is simple.

III.

"True priesthood and true mastery is maintaining a level of divinity at a constant on." I learned from Saarifaa Saa, an African priestess from Georgia, in my long ago. In our relationship Saarifaa Saa was the elder who taught me from the inner circles of the Women's Womb teachings. I don't know how to speak of those times without the naïveté  I held and the naïveté  left within me after those times passed.  What I can convey about that lifetime is expressed in my living, and my perception, and how I am perceived the way a story is in its being, its context. - Gregory E. Finding a woman and being found by a woman are not the same thing. Being available and ready for the woman you need is the third teacher of a man's spirit. These three are teachers. You have to see them as teachers, not adversaries, or adversarial warriors assailing your soul. My covenant brother Rev. Jon Chandler during those times of meeting and associating with those three teachers told me, "You have to become vulnerable to her to be a strength to her."

I had to learn which one of the three teachers this wisdom was applicable to, and what part of me would be accessible to the inevitable changes each teacher would bring to me. It proved to be a process each teacher put me through. In the end it turned out to be the Coyote tricking me into a life away from mere existence into a life steered by the first and the second teacher into the presence of the third teacher who became the wife I have now.

"The Coyote is the Gentle Trickster. He is all those things that trick us into learning..." I read somewhere. - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories 11.14.13

ALEXIA'S entrance....

Never knew when she'd show up. Once at a party she showed up unannounced, and uninvited in a  red dress, no stockings, and heels, and without any fanfare on her part started dancing with the first man who caught her eye. Didn't matter he was dancing with his wife. His mistake was standing there stupidly dumbfounded by her look and the way the light breeze caught her dress as she trotted down the marble staircase. That fact alone didn't help his case later on when his wife caught her wind, and his eye while he danced with Alexia.

The husband barely stirred out of his enamored stupor waved weakly at his wife as Alexis turned and turned again on the dance floor. Her dress as only held up by her breasts, and was a nice extra short mini that mushroomed when she twirled and gathered up her thighs when she walked down stairs. She knew if she sat how much thigh would show, and how  hard a man's dick swelled looking at her crossing her legs. It made her pussy wet.

She twirled a bit and in an instance was in the husband's arms looking up at him with innocence, appeal and a probing look as she absorbed the throbbing of his dick just above the hair line of her pussy.  She decided then she wanted to fuck him and she knew how, but when? Right then would have served her fine, but a loud insistent sound erupted in her ear, and the man's wife was suddenly there pulling her husband's left shoulder her direction. The pull turned the reluctant husband around a bit, and his arms fell partially away from Alexis. The wife was red with fury. She glanced at her husband's bulging dick in his pants, let out a short gasp, and slapped the shit out of him!

"Oh, damn!" thought Alexia. "Here we go again."

Braced for a fight Alexia simply stood relaxed, a bit and ready for whatever. The wife looked into Alexia's eyes coldly and rushed her with a slightly muffled animal sound coming out of her mouth. Alexia pivoted smoothly and caught the woman full in the middle of her chest knocking the air out of her. The wife frozen in mid-scream. This jolted the husband back to his senses.

"Hey, you bitch!" he screamed dutifully to impress his wife. "You mutha —"

That was the last thing he said for awhile. Alexia's elbow caught him in the throat just hard enough to terrify him, but not kill him. She picked her little purse off the floor, and just as suddenly as she appeared she was gone.

Most never knew what to make of Alexia. She lived her life the way she dreamt, or the way the day carried itself to her, or in the moment when a thought came to her to do this or do that.

Where does the GODDESS live?

The Goddess form of a woman unfolds in the most intimate of moments, and not on a scheduled prompting. There are moments a woman, similar to cats,  gives in and relaxes into safe, and sacred space. In those precious moments she is making clear the Goddess within her. So often it has had to be hidden. In today's climate it can be in the open and not perceived.   The Goddess is, comes from and is like Kabbalah over the centuries appearing, and disappearing according to the clarity, or the blindness of people, their sharpness,  or the murkiness of their knowledge of light,  their study of  Creator's works, and the discipline of spirit in the work of becoming a deeper soul.©  Gregory E. One day I walked up and upon an Indian woman from behind unwrapping her sari. She didn't hear me so I froze where I was and beheld something I probably shouldn't have seen, but transfixed before the movements she made I couldn't feel myself turning away, or retracing my steps.

She was in her  safe place dreaming about what is important to her. Humming to herself the sari flowed with the melancholy of the refrain she hummed. The graceful nature of her hands combing her hair made the scene around her slow down. The small spring near by seemed excited about the prospect of her bathing. In a rural setting outside of Bombay where I lived the villages were ancient with time honored traditions unfamiliar to me. One I knew had to be in place was the danger I was in should she turn, scream and accuse me of something I'd not done, but may have thought about. It was frightening when I thought about it, but I couldn't think about it because there was something here I'd never known, and needed to know about.

It came from my dreams. It lingered around every Indian woman I'd seen in my lifetime, and now it was unwrapping before me not more than a few feet away from where I stood. "What should I do?" I asked myself.  With no answer coming forth I stood still, and became void of thought to become the land we stood upon, and I listened to the sound of my voice talking to the water spirits. Her voice talking to the water spirits did not recognize mine and looked up to see me there. The water spirits beckoned her. Nodding in my direction she followed their gaze, turned and saw me.

She didn't say a word, or appear afraid. She just stood as calmly as I matching her breath with the rhythm of my own breath I could barely hear myself. How did she, or how could she comprehend the cadence of my body from there?  I didn't know, but I did know she was looking at me very closely. Her breasts must have been as soft as they were round and full. I wondered. She looked up at me which meant she was looking at my body parts too.

"American man."

I nodded.

"Why are you here?"

I wanted to say, "For you." but that might lead to an uncomfortable conversation that would arouse suspicions. I didn't know what to say except the truth.

"I was just walking through the village. I apologize for intruding your privacy."

"What is your name?" she asked.

I couldn't contain the excitement I felt listening to her voice. Her voice seemed to belong to her, and it seemed to come from everything around her. Even the water spirits understood her, but I was a suspect in their presence, and they wanted to understand how I came to stand on the land.

"Why are you standing there?" she asked me. I had to answer, but how?
