BREAST FEEDING

Breast feeding by law

“It is one thing to write laws. It is another to have a change of heart from deep introspection within the soul. Our stories unexamined are as dangerous as unexamined faith. Our stories are what we tell ourselves, and the nuances, and the teachings of those stories are who we are. They live behind, and within all we do, and speak. Laws set up to govern belief, and attitudes are empty without heart and soul participation because laws require change of behavior, first of all. The heart? If it comes later, and the heart obeys the law that is social change! If the hearts follow natural laws the necessity for creating laws diminishes…” - Gregory E. Woods

deep powers of the transition

Zillasfashion

"You can see the Sankofa bird if you don't look directly at the woman's figure. It is hard not to look at her form, but this being the 21st of December in the year 2012 we need to be mindful of the disillusion of a 5,000 year cycle closing today. Sankofa is timeless. This bird cannot exhaust her  usefulness. Life is a seamless flow from realm to realm, and within that stream our consciousness awakens or slumbers. It is a choice. For the millions submerged in the mundane your purpose is served creating the angst within souls who crave light and enlightenment. The existence of the mundane's indifference, and lack of commitment to growth stimulates growth, and nurses the transition from one cycle to the next." - Alowan Chanteh Inyan Wichasha (Gregory E. Woods)

TRANSFORMATION between worlds

DEMONS

"I saw mostly dark impish creatures in the rafters, and in corners of churches growing up. I wasn't alone in this. A number of people won't set foot into churches because of the dark entities invisible to most living in the buildings. As a rule the average Baptist, Methodist, AME, and fundamentalist denominations do not spiritually clean their buildings. People often come into church with dark entities attached to them. Demons are cast out, and often hang around in the building because it is receptive to them.

You see the practice of spiritual cleaning was not taken up by Western Christianity from the ancient Hebrews. The Hebrew practice of spiritual cleansing had been seen as the Devil's work for a long time. In fact bathing was condemned by church father's in Europe for centuries. Traveling and stealing in countries around the world the Christian missionaries condemned spiritual practices of cleanliness  and outlawed those practices.

I am stronger now, and know a few things I didn't know as a child and a young man. It is still pointless, in my experience, to talk about these things in the church. People are still gripped in old European traditions of thought and belief in the Black church." - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories 8.26.12

TRANSFORMATION: a new day

" A perfect moment exists in the moment." - Gregory E.Woods (12.19.12)

"... a perfectly formed face lovingly maintained speaks into the volumes of sound where a dream amongst dreams came forward and found a way to manifest in the the sun, the light, and the essence of RA."

"... face of a Black woman looks into a history, and a series of testimony denying her existence, on one hand, needing her on  the other hand, and knowing she exists to embody all that can be contained in the monstrous task of holding the world together for her family, the community and the idea of living abundantly. The Black African woman is no easy creature to contain, or release upon the channels of water flowing through and from her womb to the living waters blanketing the Earth, our Mother.  She is transforming. She is the Transforming Paradigm. She is the transformation." - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories

awareness to PEACE

"Murder all those thoughts that keeps you from awakening. Yes! Kill off those enemies that continually try to surface and cause mental war inside your mind. Go in silence and summon the Christ warrior who will destroy all those lower vibrant thoughts rising out of your sub-conscious mind..." - Ebeb Bee

“Is the point of internal spiritual battles annihilation of any part, or all of our human nature?

I ask because in your words, your learning you shared, “…Go in silence and summon the Christ warrior who will destroy all those lower vibrant thoughts rising out of your sub-conscious mind…” In my mind I understand a reference to the lower chakras or energy forms within is what you are talking about. Those energies come with us into this life. They compose Life.

I may have misinterpreted your meanings, but I paused awhile wondering if the religious influence here comes from a Western Christian practice of self-flagellation? It is the image your words, “…those lower vibrant thoughts rising out of your sub-conscious mind…” conjured up in my thinking that makes the association with those energy forms we cannot rid ourselves of, but can learn from, and evolve from merging, as we do, with those lower energies so integral a part of our spiritual development.” – Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories

“It is apparent and illustrated in this artist's rendition of hand to hand combat that all warriors cannot know their flank's and their rear's dangers specifically. Knowing danger surrounds is often enough to protect the flanks and the rear. Most effective in external and internal battles are the relationships with our allies, who guard our flanks and take up the rear guard. Without heightened senses, honesty, clarity and martial skills battles are lost before they are won.

Increased knowledge of strategy, I learned over time, deepens the lighter, more reflective times, and moods warriors need to gauge progress while resting. During the respites knowledge takes on new meanings, adapts to itself the connectors, the connections between right action and intent. In a final analysis, of sorts, war and battles are great teachers of the human condition(s). If the lessons and the scars teach anything productive and deep it has to lead towards peace, and what peace means in the deepest sense of the word, and the word is power.” © Gregory E. "We must first be mummified (clothe in skin) then we must be resurrected. Are body is the MUMMY and are essence is us the SOULS. Once we fully awaken ourselves we will become resurrected inside of the human body(mummy corpse) yet we are spiritually activated and intune with the divine source.... The SOUL Lives!" - Ebeb Bee

WELL PUT TOGETHER!

"This combination of color, and dream, and line is by far the best compliment to you, your style, and the type of beauty you embody and wed so well with the clothes you pick. The play with sophistication and the little girl dreaming is maturing with each sunrise. Keep the little girl, and the woman alive and in color throughout your years. I love and applaud your spirit. There is a need to place more of you in the world, Ms. Keene." - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories

"Today's look is comfort meets glamour. I'm sure you've noticed that I have been away from the blogosphere for a few days and you'll have to forgive me. I have been battling a not so pretty cold, but today I decided to brave the elements, and plus, getting all dressed up always makes me feel better. I paired a cozy sweater with a gorgeous green maxi skirt, and my most impractical heels. When I fist laid eyes on these gorgeous purple shoes I knew that they needed a spot in my closet. Although they aren't practical, or versatile, which is often one of my criteria when shopping, I purchased them anyways because I find them to be like a work of art.

Do you have any impractical wardrobe pieces that you just had to have? Thanks so much for reading!" - Elizabeth Keene, fashion blogger (December 13, 2012)
