the Eye of the Believer.

Perfection is an elusive mistress. To have her is illusion and possession of no more than a thought, a notion. The certainty of recognizing something perfect is clearly the captivating feel of awe. Marrying to the idea of an ideal is foolish, in one sense, but reflection's way of penetrating the psyche is clearly an exercise leading towards impeccability.

The warrior needs the impeccability. The idealist needs to hang on the insights of the mystique as if his/her musings can be owned. - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories [Jan. 30, 2018]

Perfection has its own understanding of beauty. Perception, as it is, sees perfection in beauty not by choice, but by reaction to the awe a woman, like Sophia Loren, inspires! - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories June 07, 2017

Perceptions into self...

Native woman flipping fry bread.

eyes of an NDN woman playing with your emotions.

Piercing into the soul eyes involuntarily evoke emotions, conjure up old memories, spark dreamtime for some, and see what is really there in the blink of an eye. It is an attribute of the eye science cannot recreate because the etheric qualities can touch, but not be touched, receive, and give back without commitments to form. Science needs form to formulate re-creation to believe in God and speculate on the relevance of the Goddess...

This is all mystery.

"Perfection is one of those concepts projecting past one's ability to translate into regular time and ordinary events what is in and of itself beyond words. The language limitation is pronounced in the presence of a woman's beauty that clogs the senses with memories of the sensation of being born anew. It is intoxicating the aroma of breathlessness. If that is a word, it is a concept. But, the problem of language stems from the sudden recollection that we once spoke in the eternal spaces with essences in a language incapable of hiding untruths. This can be pinched out of our recollections by beauty, and speculation in a logical mind if we relax into who we are alive." - Dawn Wolf, Keeper of Stories

What is a woman to do against men?

Fitness Model : Eva Andressa Vieira - Hot Fitness Women

Fitness models today make statements and set examples previously unheard of in Western history. In Western mythology we can find stories of women of extraordinary strength and daring. The Celtic warrior clans had plenty of women warriors to unleash upon their enemies like the Romans and the Christians. There were Black African women warriors. The Dahomey nation were not alone in the continent of Africa to unleash trained women soldiers upon an enemy. Native American women warriors in some of the tribes amongst the Plains nations made vows of revenge to take enemy lives, and vows of celibacy to mark the vow with permanence and strong powers.

Women's chief battles and accomplishments were raising families and strengthening their men, and their nations. Today, those values in the women's shields of power are ridiculed often in American circles as more and more women work outside their homes away from their children, if they have any, and outside of the Western tradition of marriages headed by men. Also, great political strides have been made by women and socially in the West it is safe for women to embrace their advancements and the freedoms, but other countries are not so fortunate.

It was once dangerous for European and American white women to advance the cause of women's suffrage. Women were killed, raped, beaten, imprisoned, thrown into crazy houses or cast into the streets by their husbands. Other things could be done to them while they campaigned for rights, equal pay, the right to their own money; in short they were seeking freedom from the societal mores set up by white men's interpretation of the Bible!

Women in countries too conservative, and steeped in their traditions to see the depth of what women were born with exercise terror upon women to protect the authority and might of men. Acid to the face, killed by beheadings sanctioned by clerics, gang rapes are examples of how cruel men became to maintain power over women, land and holy scriptures.

It is the relationship and the understanding of blood to question if a woman, or anybody wanted to understand what was going on in the battle of the sexes. It is not the trivia nonsense of American culture to play cute referring to men being from Mars and women from Venus. It is far deeper than that this hatred millions of men have for women. Those contradictions are carried in behavior, thought and gesture. Remaining unanswered and unattended the bed sores of men's belief about women's place rise up from the cumulative potions and equations we insist are from God's Word!

The essential question in this transformative and transitory period in human history stands naked before us all.

"As women across the globe from what we, as men believe about women, what is a woman to do?" - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories 12.13.15

There are certain ideas you have to be careful about, and the idea of perfection is one to be wary of because it is volatile. People get offended, feel left out of the equation. The estimation of perfection is subjected to the idea of and in the dreams of the perceiver. I use the word perception because to perceive is to hunt, or penetrate into a mystery. What is mysterious is the hunt. We can hunt all manner of things and what we use in our probe into the darkness where may live the hidden mammal in this realm of perception, for example, is the controversial tool. I may be vague or precise in my usage of the word perfection applied to someone else's beauty of face, spirit, body, or way of living. But, in the reality of becoming a better person, or good enough to go to heaven perfection as the goal excludes more than it includes the possibility of gaining access to the heavenly world.  It is easier to die than gain entry into heaven if perfection is the criteria. So, is it possible that perfection cannot come from us, but we can gain insight into its elements, or enjoy its reflections into our plane of existence?

Perfection can be applied to so many things: movement, application, conception, beauty, symmetry of a face, action and so on. What is perfect?  What is perfect to you? What is perfect to another is a glimpse into a dream we had merged with the dream of another person. Perfection, perhaps is the coming together of more than one thing at an exact moment that agrees with the eye, the moment, the need of the moment to be still with what is precious to the need of the soul. Maybe that is what perception is: a need.

The Perfect Woman, a Quest!

abstract art of a woman by

On a quest to discover the perfect woman I discovered she was many types. She varied the definition of perfection changing her proverbial stripes by altering her relationship with light and shadow while changing positions. For a period of my youth I looked for internal perfection in Jesus' name. Baffled by always being outside of the touch of attainability I doubted myself wondering if falling short of perfection, heaven would forever be out of reach until I realized nothing in nature made quests of this nature. Perfection was on its own, and it was moments of perfection that settled the quest, and the competitive nature of that kind of spirituality lost its appeal and endeavors for perfection no longer marred the magic, the beauty of simply being.

The Perfect Woman to look at isn't necessarily the perfect woman to be with. There were so many women. Thousands of them swirled around me each day. Some looked better than others. Other's spiritual powers were astounding, and memorable. Girl watching became a visual parade with a ceaseless capacity to charge and invigorate the spirit and inspire the creation of extraordinary music within my bodies of knowledge and knowing! Women's presence insured a grounding within me, and Black women were at the top of the list. I've seen from my dynamic youth forward into the present moment how and when the mystical resides within the very nature of women ranging from the crude and very rude to the evolved women whose bodies are beginning to take on the properties of light!

Beauty, over time, became a fascinating study of self.

Meter: "Actually there is no big secret, except that you have accepted the Khnemu myth as a myth and not as its face value. I know this sounds strange. Usually we say don't take the story as its face value, but look for the allegory. In this case the truth has been hidden by the truth, but man's need for the complex has kept him blind of its meaning."

PRACTICE 37

Stacyann Chin breast feeding in NYC

What is beautiful here is primal, compelling and affirms the connections of life that hold a child's life, as well as life in general, together. What is wholesome is found in the beginning of our lives. If cherished by more than one it can withstand the assault against purity and become becoming in the simple role of breast feeding, playing, eating and sharing explorations.
Scared away in Western perceptions is the sanctity of the primal role and function of breasts, and the power and significance of a woman's posture sitting legs agape to support her child feeding from her breast. What it means is what it feels like without judgement, but memory. - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories 1.05.14

SUICIDE attempts

IT is a touchy business coaching a spirit not to leave the body. You can't navigate the soul realms stupidly because the spirit separate from one's mindset, and body awareness is intelligent. Freed of the boundaries it is fearless, daring and bolder. The feel and presence of love can coax one spirit and vex another. It is the stories of the soul that have to be reached because the will lives in those stories. - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories 1.07.14
