HEALING IN THE DARKNESS???

"There will be no place to heal while the killing continues." – Scott Royder

The deep fears of our European relatives have run amok long years, and understanding them is still a great and compelling mysterious force in the world. How does the ice melt from the heart and mind? How can any assist in our own healings? There are a great many questions to connect us to each other's grief and expressions of pain. Perhaps it is a sense of isolation our white relatives feel? In this century our closeness with and to each other should have revealed the answers to the questions posed.

Perhaps it is as Scott Royder said, “There will be no place to heal while the killing continues."

Perhaps not. Even killing grounds can be made into sacred space. But, Sacred space is not part of the modern agenda as many of the things we need to become whole people are not in place... - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories 4.26.13
