IT MATTERS

ETERNAL LOVE


It matters because love is important, and how the love of one person shapes your life increases in importance as it evolves from its starting place of 'Hello, and how are you?' to the touching of souls, and sharing of experiences, and spirit. The birth of the parts of me that had not made themselves familiar to me endeared me to you and bound our relationship into timelessness, and necessity despite your dark resistance to it, and what it was creating within the two of us over an expanse of time in our lives that shed light on those around us, the children you carried for us, and the love that developed and married us to the idea of us.

Our lives were bound to be bound, and bound they are in places set by words spoken, deeds done, agreements made, and fears held and powerful enough to tear into, but not sever, a sacred union. There is a spirit amongst things that hold people, and us together at the seams. It speaks to the why of this relationship, and the power of it denied, or affirmed,respected, touched, and understood. - Gregory E. Woods, 5.16.13


CHILDREN

If you look carefully enough the future, its promises and challenges are evident within young people. Prophecies are in their eyes, and prophecies are fulfilled in their lives. They are the circular motion of prayers said, hopes held, and actions running their lives into other things to do for the benefit of self, and others. In short, our children are all children, and our children are the continuation of us who raised, and trained their minds, and spirits. Children give us glimpses into tomorrow.
