There is a lot of unnecessary baggage for a country like ours to react to honestly. Honesty, when it was a commodity to a much higher degree than now, governed better minds, and more developed emotions than who is president now! Presidents reflect the nation's soul, its needs and yearnings. What Trump is telling the nation is directed inward. The problem with that is simple: Americans are not reflective; therefore not introspective, nor is it part of the cultural ideal to be perceived thus. This amount of loss of soul is detrimental to a nation's health, but we are a nation who believes deeply in its myths; preferring death to enlightenment, taking more than giving themselves to the truths of what holds us in bondage! - Gregory E. war, LION, a woman's voice

Lioness

WAR

“If there is a flaw in chess as a game of war it is this: Unlike war the rules of chess are constant, the pieces unchangeable; you will never win the heart of a rook, or the mind of a Knight. They are deaf to your arguments, and so be it. The goal of a chess game is total annihilation, but in war, even as the blood beats in your ears, and you race after your enemy; there is the hope that saner minds will stop you before you reach your target. In war, unlike chess, rules can be changed, truces can be called, the greatest of enemies can become the best of friends. In war there is hope.” ~ Sarah Connors, character from the series, “TERMINATOR: the Connor Chronicles ” episode: “Queen’s Gambit”, 2008

Power of feminine energy

Lisa Nicole Carson

"The female hunts and kills prey, feeds the group and takes care of the young. She is the nurturing force in all senses. The male roars to frighten prey and force them toward the lioness, who waits patiently for the right moment to attack. Although the male is the group's protector, he doesn't look for confrontation nor attacks needlessly. He only acts when challenged and will fight to death in order to protect, but in reality he prefers the easy, peaceful life. Lion's Medicine teaches us the magic of group interaction, of group energy. It also teaches us the secrets of silence and patience. Patience is to pay attention to detail. Lion suggests that we examine ourselves closely in order to understand our strengths and weaknesses, and to wait for the proper moment to act and take full advantage of a given situation. Learn from Lion the proper way to use power and strength. Stay calm and still, sure of your power. But if necessary, don't hesitate to fight for the things you are interested in." -Snowbird Black feather

FASTING FOR CLARITY - Rev. Sinclair Grey III, M.Div.

actress Lisa Bonet

Do you ever feel confused about something and just don't know what to do? In other words, you've been trying to figure it out but the more you try to figure it out, the more frustrated you become. Too many times, people and things can confuse us that we don't know what to do. Every now and then, you'll reach a point in life when you think one thing, but it doesn't quite make sense. Confusion has a way of knocking on your door and all that will seem logical is to sit back and wonder. However, when you sit back and wonder without taking any spiritual action, you'll find yourself in a state of more confusion.

In this life, I've discovered that problems come into our life to teach us how to depend on Almighty God. Whenever you think you can handle your mess by yourself, you fail to see what God is able to do in the midst of uncertainty. Anytime you need clarification, the first thing you need to do is take it to the Lord in prayer. Rather than run to everybody, your first choice should be calling on God. Think about it for a moment - if you got a problem, why not take it to the problem-solver? Once you realize that God knows you, you begin to understand that He's in control.

In this spiritual journey, you must learn the importance of fasting for clarity. Let me help you out. Unless you learn to fast from certain things and sacrifice what's important to you in order to hear from God, you'll always be baffled. I want you to get into your spirit that fasting will help you gain clarity from God about what to do and how to do it. Don't get fooled into thinking that fasting is difficult because once you begin fasting, you take your eyes off what pleases the flesh and allow God to feed your spirit. That's right; you need to focus on God, the One who saved and sanctified you. When you fast for clarity, you'll hear God speaking to you and letting you know that it's going to be okay. Sacrificing for God shows how serious you are for clarity.

In speaking through the prophet Isaiah, God said to the people of Israel, "Is this not the fast that I have chosen: To loose the bonds of wickedness, To undo the heavy burdens, To let the oppressed go free, And that you break every yoke?" Please don't miss this. Fasting with a spiritual purpose allows God to intervene into your life and your situation. That's my word for you. If you want to see a difference in your life, start fasting. Clarity comes with a commitment to your relationship with God.
