About Indifference

ELDER TALK

It is lost today how important it was for these individuals (Nat King Cole, Sammy Davis Jr., Ella Fitzgerald, and other prominent Negroes) to be in the public eye, and why their behavior was, and had to be above reproach.

Prior to the assumptions of these times we tend to make about 20th century, Negroes had to be above reproach at every level of their lives to be above average, and successful in the white world. White people's general assumptions and convictions about Black people were carved into stone, and the preservation of our integrity, and race pride were profoundly important to us. In addition, being killed by white folks, and judged by low evaluation standards made daily life a strategic operation. The sophistication it took to work, and live in those times did not have the assumptions of present day belief structures today's youth seem to embrace.

Black and white kids today believe the lies, the misrepresentation of their histories, and undisciplined where they should be disciplined these young people tend to believe racial equality has occurred without work, or input on their part, or collectively. A deeply felt "Oh, shit!" moment is what they need to wake up from the slumber of their childhood, and what their childhoods failed to introduce them, and prepare them to become!

I can think of, and share a number of things, and expand their worlds in this medium, or in their presence, but I have learned the number of students is but a handful hard to attract. One need not cast pearls to swine. If there is hunger there is want. If there is need there is a seed. If there are seeds to plant the land will ask. If someone wants to die let them die.

These are my words.

LIE to self before TRUTH to self.

Selfie, as a signature of the times...

"A woman cannot see herself taking her own picture. The camera was invented with the idea to capture the worlds outside of who we are, and to see what is around us reflecting who we are alive in the time appointed us. There is a deep sense of life not conveyed by self-absorption, or respected by the loss of discovery. Youth was made for discovery. Without it bitter things occur later in life..." - Gregory E. “The Taoist principles of Chinese medicine view the pregnant woman as the spiritual, mental, and physical vessel of the child. 🕯 Through the primordial dance of the vital essence of two separate beings coming together with a mutual soul contract, a woman’s womb becomes a sacred repository, which receives these essences and alchemically transforms them into one, which grow to fruition within her. 💗 According to Traditional Chinese Medicine, the intrinsic role of the pregnant woman is to nourish and protect the growing being within her, who has come from spirit to be made of flesh and bone." ~ Sacred  Motherhood Blueprint October 15, 2018

[The] Glory Hole, as Cocoa Pink seems to interpret isn't a bad thing. Any man can stick his hard-n through a hole in bathroom stall, and she will (shall we say) pleasure him. Where does that leave her Being? Does her soul vanish? Does she become invisible in this world, this perception, and when she does where does she go within? Where does dignity and her sacredness hide? ~ Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories 10/23/18

Afraid, Aware!

Cindy Crawford, a study of a woman.

Cindy Crawford. She was a young woman when she entered the public collective of memorable white American beauties. She singularly changed the standards of beauty, as all accepted standards are in white estimation, into something relaxing the rigidity of the standard historically held over other races. That is a lot to say, even harder is to have spent time understanding the racial ideologies in place in the West, the play of sexual dynamics in politics, white conquests, and Europe's dominance over every sphere of existence. As a man, a father, it was my responsibility to learn these subjects from the unique perspective of an American Indian and an American African!

For a little woman, Cindy Crawford was on multiple magazine covers, and being studied introspectively by many thinking people in African American communities. She may or may not have known about it then, but surely as she lived longer it became evident. I am not privy to her views on race, and race and beauty. If she has shared any views, young women need to get their heads out of their clouds and ponder what she may have said, and did not share.

My perspective is mine, but I am fully aware of how far Americans praise and worship youth, as if it staves off aging, and dying. But, since my own youth the fallacy of this tendency has always been evident. Unlike millions of American youth, I sought, listened to and studied what the aged and wise had seen, and learned, and wished to pass down into the next generations.

Without historical reference readily available to them many readers stop here. The curious, who are seeking the truth, raise questions that hopefully will lead towards truth, and deeper understanding about the circular nature of truths governing daily life, and public policies. It is work.

Act as Work is to Becoming!

Amanda Seyfried, an extraordinary character actor.

What a profound character actress, Amanda Seyfried is! Her skill level is worthy of study. Being a student of one's life, and the times and lives of others, over time and practice, creates a depth to an actor's maturity and outlook on lives lived by others. It is not a capacity exclusive to theater actresses, or actors; it is part of any path of Life that leads one to understand the 'why' and 'how' of existence. In a profound sense it is, or can become a spiritual path, a road to intellectual development with a natural consequence: emotional balance between play and warmth, stoic, and release into capacity to hear and listen... - Gregory E. MAN to young man.

A Problem in NDN country.

The saying is "before you succeed, you must first learn failure ". I can tell you that I feel like I'm married to failure, no matter how far I step ahead, I always backslide twice as far.. it's my fault i know, I am also the one to change it! I'm a mess but who's not. Just always remember that everything will be alright, everything will be just fine.. won't stay bad for long, hold on to your dream and achieve it!! - Dakota Morse

Pity, self-pity is the worse place to be. It is the supportive element of suicide. The warrior teachings of your ancestors, the memories in the land of your ancestors have the stories, the teachings and  the strength of water and Earth, our Mother are the places to sit within.

"How do you balance? How do you cling to the spirit of Europe?"

These are fundamental words to use with the development of power within the belief system that supports self-pity... - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories

ELDERS Guide

Dancer, Emelie Jeffries by Teko Alejo, at Georgetown University in Washington DC 2018

"The power of older men on the Red Road with a long trail behind them speak without speaking into a microphone. Silence and humor cling to them. There is a fragrance, an essence; a sense of manhood observation cannot fathom at first glance. It is the responsibility of youth to study the road of their Elders and to be grateful they have Elders to study, and learn to develop the courage to ask for their insights!..." - Gregory E. There Are Wives, and There Are Wives!

A dark mysterious woman needs to be her story.
But, it is from birth mystery starts its procedure.

Middle age wives make deeper the experiences. What they know they translate with skill directly penetrating to the soul, into the meat of their marriages. There is an honesty in the right woman made wife to a man. It keeps the store of ideas and wants and the need to please under careful understanding. If a husband is to be one of purposes outside the scheme of merely existing she must herself be capable of shifting great amounts of energies into various places, with practiced skills, into her husband! It is a priestess at work.

I am purposefully clear about these things, but many outside of maturity and unskilled beyond say, their lower chakras, have no real value beyond chatter and compliance to roles given. They would think I was vague intentionally. I am not. Depth is not the place to teach the simple. - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories [July 6, 2018]

Gods Teaching.

Mereana Taki's natural beauty.

Gods are not found in theories or systems of thought. They are deeply personal and intimately woven to one's own seed descent.

Ancients and ancestors used symbolisms as guides and sign posts though each unique one comes to the Gods, the multiverse and humanity in their own way. There is no forced uniformity, nor is it valued as a social good. It may be useful in the early stages of pedagogy... though it will soon become obsolete when self mastery is attained.

Discussions or observations about Gods is not a rejection of other beliefs here. It is instead a reminder to restrain oneself from imposing a belief system on anyone.

Ancients and ancestors caution against demeaning others in their beliefs. I am instead reflecting on many many attempts on my Soul sovereignty by people calling themselves Christian. In reality it is a violence against my sacred responsibility to walk in my own truth.

Maori woman of old day.

WOMEN in TERROR.

Joséphine Marcus Earp was the
common-law wife of Wyatt Earp.

IN the terror of being a woman in the Western world is the fact of white women's fear of white men prone to kill them at the core of the crisis. In the game to stay invisible, to a degree, and available for opportunities is the ever risk of forever being a sex object. It would be different in a society balanced by elements that coincide with respect and depth to the understanding of womanhood.

The simplest way of telling this story is to tell the truth. What flies into the proverbial fan is fear of the truth and ignorance of the core of the collective history behind this stage of the women's movement! Women will always be sex objects and just as well because men will always want to have sex with women, and women will always want men for sex! The attraction is natural. The danger in modern life in a variety of countries are the conflicts of belief and religion in conflict with the feeling of inadequacy men in these cultures have inside of them.

In the cultures, where the belief in the assumption of men's superiority over women, confuses the inadequate feeling undeveloped men nurse in the presence of women, hide the deep contradictions that became part of organized religions. These religions placed laws into the daily lives of its adherents that justified wrongs against women and worse developed a creed. Rape is justified by scripture, bad behavior towards women is justified in the story of Eve in the Abrahamic texts and practiced in lieu of disciplined training of the mind, the spirit and the emotions of men, who find a way out of expanding their existence into true power, deep knowledge and the awareness from controlling one's spirit!

Men are supposed to ground themselves with a series of questions beginning with innocence. "Who are the innocent, and who will protect the innocent?" Innocence is where all of us begin our living. How men develop contempt for women from a patriarchal religion is a mysterious deception from the evil place of not being truthful, and from not being themselves, in the deep context of masculinity! What isn't innocent in the innocuous cat call towards women embedded in the contradictions we learn living in the States? - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories (5/01/18)

IN Tommorrow, Now.

In the years I have been a Sirmiq Aattuq Wisdom Keeper, it has not been lost on me the resistance of Americans to evolve beyond the diametric perceptions of race based philosophies and lifestyles between Blacks and whites, and whites and the other peoples of the world. The Trump administration expresses this determination. Whether it is self-destructive, or not is of no concern to those people, and their president, who is loyal to these ideals, and faithful to what does not serve the common good, doesn't give a hot damn about consequences. He is very much the white American man.

The end of that is nigh. How will you, we and I prepare for this eventuality?
