People often don't know what to say to champions because they may feel inadequate and out of place because they've not achieved or accomplished at a high level. Recognition for work done may be centered within the make up of people, but champions of every sort have a voice others don't hear, and a chorus within that sings their victory songs no others can hear, or harmonize with. What is ablaze within a champion's eyes does not reflect in the dullard, or the mediocre; it scatters their courage to the wind, and their need to devalue what makes a champion.
Of course champions don't need these words. Others need glimpses into the mindset, the spirit of champions.
"If you don't know what you're truly after you're better off staying home." was said in the 1976 movie Buffalo Bill. Those are words a champion would never use.
