U.S. Soldiers Told to Ignore Afghan Allies’ Abuse of Boys
Anyone who has lived in that part of the world knows how deeply entrenched is the sexual abuse of boys and girls. This report only highlights by chance what is a practice we will not do anything about. What isn't going to be stopped is the men on men practice on and off U.S. bases in Afghanistan, or Iraq. The Arabian countries routinely raping boys and girls after raiding their villages in parts of Africa for slaves will continue the trade. What will Americans do? What can Americans do but express outrage since we prefer to believe there is no connection between a man raping a boy, or the prison rape culture upon the outcome of a man's homosexuality! In our history are the countless stories of homosexual abuse employed by white men upon men of color as a terror tactic. What in this world can we do beyond rant about this with our story public knowledge on the worldwide web?
This worldview is a traceable attribute of the American and European's way of justifying morally deplorable practices during their quest for world domination. With that as a backdrop for our expressed outrage over the Afghan practice of bacha bazi (boy play) where is our moral high ground if our defense of Afghani boys and girls is grounded in a marred spiritual framework? - Gregory E.
