in shadow a black woman's pensive gentleness.

" There's a light in me that never goes away. Shining
Even in the dark,
And like a hand gets me. It's memory, that
Always reminds me
That it's time to be happy." ~ Tatiana Andena

Crossed Over, and Out of Currency.

Church dress. Fine and unbelievably beautiful Black women cannot help but be appealing in or out of church. Anything they wear in modesty stimulates the senses, so men need to discipline themselves. - Dawn Wolf 10.24.16

Cross worn by Elizabeth Ashley. photographer and stylist, Roland Dawson. (2018)

[Many times with the] Cross worn by a Christian you assume as much as you can assume you'll get some punany on the side after service, or before depending on your skill level! It is always important a conversation to have in efforts to understand the role of the cross, both as symbol and relationship to the role and significance of women. It is not to create confusion injecting sex into the subject of the Cross. Holy to some, the Cross would be offended by the association, but others thinking from another range of views about the victimization of the Cross, as executioner, and the slayer of the feminine energy, in God's name feel great fears! Sex reliefs some of the terror...  - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories May 7, 2018

the Mystery within Mystique (2)

Water story of Vic Marie Jessie by Roland Dawson

"If ever a dream, or a magical creature, or an essential arose from the waters she would be most like this. This photograph makes me feel the need to own one's own stories about the powerful women from our families, our own cultures! Water is essentially the element holding life upon Earth. It is something the way water holds so much, and our women do the same at each stage of their lives into old age!. . ." - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories 7/6/18

Intelligent Design

Sharp intelligence has its way of being present and key to the compositional story of exquisite beauty! I've always found that competitive element was the focus point of conversation. It was the intelligent thing to know about one's self, and how one appreciated each other was best discerned intelligently... - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories

Sabina B. by Catherine. "The intelligence of sensuality. Now, there's a subject."
- Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories

High intelligence has a sound in the context of beauty.
It is relatable to the stirrings of passion, and inquires of awe.

Art done on Body.

alternative model by Jellyfish Jones Photography.

Emotional Integrity

"...When we are acting from our Integrity, what we could call our authentic self, we don’t try. We don’t’ have a need to try. We just take action. We don’t concern ourselves with whether what we are doing is the right thing. We also don’t have a need to justify or defend what we are doing to anybody. This includes ourselves. The action comes from the heart and is with love, that is how we know it is true. It also comes with humility because we are acting on behalf of love and not for ourselves or a sense of righteousness. Emotional integrity Words don’t corrupt this authenticity with chatter in the mind...."
