If It Ain't Godly, It Ain't Worth Serving
Rev. Dr. Sinclair Grey III
In this spiritual journey, you need to know serving God is your primary focus. Simply put - all of us should be serving God on our job, in our schools, with our families, in our organizations, and within our community. Anything that excludes God should be avoided. In a real sense, anything that calls you to waiver in your commitment to serving God cannot help you. I want you to get into your spirit that the enemy has a way of enticing people with things and status. That's why it's so important to know who you're serving and why you're serving. Always remember, knowledge is power.
The Bible says, "Take heed to yourselves, lest your heart be deceived, and you turn aside and serve other gods and worship them." Please don't miss this. When you know who God is for yourself and all that He's done and is doing in your life, you won't allow anyone or anything to impede your growth and relationship. While I know it's important to get ahead in life (professionally and personally), I also know how important it is to stay true to the you that God has called you to be. Your life is too important to accept or belong to anything that goes contrary to Godly standards and principals. That's my word for you. Serve God with your mind, body, and soul and watch God reward you in His own way. Serving God is always the best answer. As my mother would say, 'God first; case closed.' 1.06.14
