Teach as One.

On the internet cycles of malicious gossip circulates a sentence: "Nicolette Sheridan thinks Paris Hilton is a nasty girl with genital herpes."

That is a far place to go gossiping about someone. A woman speaking thus to and about another woman is dangerous because of the vitality of women. In their true possession their powers, the quality of their substance is a cornerstone in existence as a place, and as a process she as a one has to develop into what is important.

I can't dispute the claim about Paris Hilton, nor do I want to research it further than to say what is necessary for a man to rethink is the freedom of promiscuity and the treachery that the process can create within a woman. - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories [Oct. 10, 2017]

Reconstruct the relationship of self to society.

Paris Hilton, 35, wearing a semi-sheer, pink and black sequined mini dress in London profiling in shades. (2016)

"Reality stars have made an indelible impression upon fertile minds, and stale mindsets. We feel like rustled children, those of us who have any sense about ourselves, in front of television sets as news shows capture and incorporate that juvenile feeling into the mechanisms of reporting what is happening in the world. In a country people fear, and look up to making sure they are not next on our target list, we come across as fools on the international stage because we are unable to connect the dots to our moral contradictions and ingratitude. We have enviable things and ways of life people like to be a part of; but the moral integrity we believe we have is mistaken, by most Americans invested in being white and above all of Nature, and others, makes us good when in fact our fundamental story is no more than a history of murder.

Our national anthem is our lie to our souls. Our pledge of allegiance needs to be believed in to support the national myth, and worshiped as well as sung at every ball game, and the start of every school day. I hated it in school. When I was eight years old I announced to my mother I would no longer pledge allegiance to the flag. I couldn't speak as well as I do now, but I conveyed, as best I could, the conflict of the words against being Indian I felt within the context of the pledge, the stories told in history and government class clash against truths. I felt the lie, and being raised not to lie, singing a lie tormented my young mind; so I stopped and never sang the song again and have never pledged to the American flag since. Only one person offended by my stance voiced his objection: a retired general.

Bill was an old man in my Rotary club. In fact, I was the youngest member at the time, in what was one of the smallest Rotary clubs in Rotary. Rotary is a club founded over a hundred years ago for white business men with a common interest to serve their communities and the world-at-large. Since white women sued and won in court women's presence and the international groups of Rotary have expanded, keeping their numbers high despite the decrease of interest in helping others, that is a part of the make up of young Americans. . ."

The rest of the story will be in my upcoming book. But, if you want to understand how such a subject can evolve place yourself in a place to be shattered by the dynamics of racial politics with an intent to become who you were meant to be, not as one approved by white people, but as divinity dictates.

Yeah? Yeah, what? Whatcha gotta say?

Paris Hilton, as much as I am intrigued by her, I am disturbed by her and the perspective she comes from sometimes. There is a vanity accompanying wealth and privilege from wealth that supersedes decency often masking real concern with displays of idiocy or the veneer of scorn!

Case in point:

In May of 2015 Paris Hilton was in Cannes, France 'performing' at a benefit for the earthquake victims of Nepal. It is a noble and necessary cause, but it was also an opportunity for a decent sense of being to surface. What showed up was a picture of her taking a picture with her cell phone. The fancy phone cover read, "Queen of Fucking Everything"!

What does that mean to the people that matter and who does matter in the games of consciousness and entitlement? Are the poor entitled to be fed and cared for by the wealthy? Are the wealthy obligated to care for the poor disenfranchised victims of natural phenomenon, or must those souls figure it out for themselves? Is it bad to flaunt your position, or illusions of self before the masses who have not, or wish they had with aplomb? Is it bad taste the display of her assessment of self, or do we care because after all the woman believes it is important to care for others?

Does it matter the stuff that offends the sensibility of women and men who are on the sidelines not participating, but judging and measuring others against standards that may or may not be kind, or from kind places of the heart? - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories (9.13.16)

PRACTICE 42

SELF-CONTROL: is a spiritual science

Paris Hilton's beautiful legs. . .

"Self-control is a compelling relationship between fear of offending and being judged by others, and a sense of being connected to people in a good way, and a healthy dose of consequences or karma." ~ Dawn Wolf, Keeper of Stories 1.14.14

Gaining Self-Control

In this spiritual journey, I want to share with you a few lessons passed on to me about gaining self-control. The first lesson learned in gaining self-control is make sure you're well grounded in your relationship with God so that you're walking according to His will. When you're hooked up with God, you're allowing Him to order your steps and your thoughts. Think about it for a moment. Anytime you step outside of the will of God, you're depending on you instead of depending on the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. The second lesson learned in gaining self-control is never allow that which you can't control to control you. Control what you can such as your temper, emotions, reactions, and behavior. Here's a hint: the enemy doesn't have any power over you because you belong to God. I want you to get into your spirit that you have power on the inside that's greater than any demonic force.

The writer of Proverbs penned these words, "Like a city whose walls are broken down is a man who lacks self-control." Please don't miss this last lesson. Gaining self-control will cause you to receive blessings that God has for you. In a real sense, self-control will help you become more appreciative of the things God has deposited in your life. That's right; through self-control, you're not bugging out on what's happening on the outside because you're busy controlling what's happening on the inside. Always remember, self-control with either make you or break you. Have control over yourself and get ready to blow up from the floor up. 1.14.14

Walking in the Shadow of One's Own Death

Paris Hilton walking towards her car.

Jahi McMath, a 13-year-old girl, had surgery to remove her tonsils, adenoids, and extra sinus issues. The surgery was recommended by doctors to treat pediatric obstructive sleep apnea – a condition that caused her to stop breathing in her sleep which led to other medical problems.

According to Jahi’s uncle, she was worried about not waking up after the surgery. She later dismissed her worries and had the surgery. While in the intensive care unit, something went terribly wrong. She was bleeding profusely. Because of her profuse bleeding, Jahi went into cardiac arrest and was later declared brain dead. Now, the child's worse fears occurred. Suspended above and around her body initially had to be disorientating and frightening when she realized she could not re-enter her body the way she had numerous times while her body slept. Beyond that is speculation. Children's innocence and newness to life and living life on the terrestrial plane affords them courtesies an adult would not get after dying. What they are I cannot remember.

Deciding someone's death will change the core of your existence. I have had the option to take life from people in the past, and I have had to decide the how of someone's continuation upon the Earth, our Mother. The most difficult was having the power to make the decision over my own mother's life in her last days. It is a serious subject subjecting the simple minded approach to life to a veil of the mysterious dark of the light of life as we know life to be. . . - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories 1.07.14

A Dark Mystery for Her: her Vagina

Vagina Politics: Learning Mine and Teaching My Daughter to Love Hers

by Mlilo Mpondo
Saturday, July 12, 2014

I found my daughter fiddling with her vagina in the bathtub. The said vagina will here forth be referred to as a pony. It is far too cute to be burdened with the responsibilities that come with having a vagina. She was in the bath and suspiciously quiet. Bath time is always her opportunity to work my last nerve, so the silence was unheard of. I found her chubby hand beneath clear water fiddling with whichever part of her body stays hidden below her plump belly. I soon found that what had her attention was her pony.

Thoughtlessly my immediate response was to hit her hand away and scold her for behaving improperly. A surge of discomfort overwhelmed me. She is too young to have been doing anything more than attending to an itch, but seeing her hand on her pony--a place she had never done anything more than graze absentmindedly--fueled the lava in my spine. I preferred it when she didn’t know it was there. Consciously touching it meant that she was learning a part of her anatomy--a part I prayed would keep itself hidden below the plump until I was ready to acknowledge that at some point it would no longer be my baby’s pony.

My unwarranted outburst was, of course, a product of my own conditioning. I was transferring my vagina dramas onto my baby. I officially met my vagina in my twenties. When I was younger it never really belonged to me. Its initial role in life was as my mother’s pony. When it was no longer cute, it was something that I was warned everybody was after. What it is that they wanted from it was unbeknownst to me. As far as I was concerned, it was the furthest thing from attractive. All I knew was that despite its appearance, no one, including uncles and older brothers, was allowed within a one mile radius of it. Why it was strictly off limits was never explained. All I knew is that it was to be kept hidden behind closed legs, full panties and hems that grew longer the taller I grew.

As a girl, I walked around oblivious to the purpose of what was kept hidden in my panties. Its importance was never shared with me, but what I soon understood was that I had become the custodian of a “private part” kept private from everyone, myself included. When I turned 13, the secret started to scare me. A white substance had begun to visit and stain my underwear. Because it resembled sour milk, I assumed it was caused by too much milk at breakfast. But when it persisted even after I had eliminated milk as an ingredient in my diet, I began to worry. I had not an inkling of where it came from, but I was petrified of being caught for something I hadn’t done intentionally. So each time I went to pee, I’d check to see if it was still there. If it was I would pour hot water into the sink, add a drop of antiseptic fluid, lock the bathroom door and ferociously scrub away. It burnt so much my vagina might as well have been the burning bush, but I refused to be burdened by more than one secret at a time. Of course the white substance, which I learned was discharge, stayed with me well into my mid-teens. Thankfully Google, the greatest gift to mankind since the dawn of the microwave, let me know that the crime scene in my underwear was completely natural.

Because I had no relationship with my vagina, I had no relationship with what was done to and with it. I gave my virginity as a gift to a man that found a song in me. If life were possible without breathing, I would have given him my breath as a dowry, so in its place I offered my hymen instead. My Catholic prudishness has always kept me from engaging in anything that even Jezebel’s distant cousin twice removed might be caught doing, so like a good girl I never watched porn.
When my first time came, I brought a) No bedroom skills and b) A vagina I knew nothing of. I didn’t know what to make of the experience; it was both awkward and agonizing. In a dorm room on disheveled crisp, tan bed sheets, the said lover draped my thighs around his waist like a constellation of silver moons and planted kisses of wanting on the skin that covered my trembling body--obviously having had practice. But I didn’t know how to move or how to feel, so I just lay there.

I lay there clenching the life out of the metal headboard feeling its cold swallow the warmth of my palms--hoping that it would swallow the pain in my limbs along with it. I lay there dumbfounded because this was the first time I had ever had any interaction with my vagina. Through somebody else’s endeavour it had morphed from something I used daily to pass urine into something that had feeling.

At varsity my friends and I had become comfortable with the idea of sex--a word we were forbidden from uttering when we were younger for fear of falling pregnant on the spot. We shared personal experiences over wine at dinner tables. At first we were embarrassed by the idea of revealing intimate moments, but it was a quiet shame that soon evaporated along with sobriety. At these dinner tables I learned that not all women have the same relationship with sex. Some of us hate it. Some of us derive a sense of empowerment from it, and some of us are curious enough to have it by ourselves. I personally enjoyed it and at times when the person in bed with me gave the kind of love that could make my insides melt to sweetness, I fell in love with it. However what I never had was an orgasm.

Because “coming” is something I thought was a given, I thought I had been “coming” all along. A girlfriend of mine deflated my delusion and explained in detail what climaxing really was. Upon inquiry, more girlfriends of mine corroborated this description, and from this I learned that I had no idea what orgasm-ing really was. I obviously still had a lot to learn. The more liberated girls suggested that I try it on my own; apparently the only way I would ever know what I really liked was by sticking my index finger into myself and fiddling. The more adventurous candidates on my sexual advisory board suggested more audacious methods that I dare not repeat. This, they said, was the surest way to know what an orgasm felt like. I never did try any of it because truthfully I was petrified of my body, it had never belonged to me, first it was my mother’s to protect and dictate the movement of. Then it learned to find satisfaction with whomever I had allowed to claim it at the time.

I now realize that my relationship with sexuality has always been dictated to me. From the time that my mother scolded me for sitting with uncrossed legs to when a boyfriend assumed that I enjoyed having my vagina showered by his saliva. It is absurd that, even behind closed doors, the concept of touching a part of my own body would make me feel uncomfortable and even silly.

The subtle lessons that were taught to me as a girl--the inhibiting of exploring my own anatomy--set in motion subliminal boundaries that have since policed the course of my self-actualization as a woman.

But as a mother to a daughter, I try to break these boundaries every day--hoping that it will allow her to live freely, not only sexually but as an individual. I was never sure where to start, but now I know that her first lesson is free reign over her anatomy. I want my daughter to learn her vagina. Maybe through a good relationship with it she will, as a woman, come to know herself.

Republicans Push $269 Billion Handout For Millionaire Heirs And Heiresses

by Zack Carter for Huffington Post
04/14/2015 10:27 am EDT

WASHINGTON -- House Republicans this week will vote to hand the heirs and heiresses of America's largest fortunes a $269 billion tax break by repealing the federal inheritance tax.
The legislation would shield the very richest families from taxes on the fortunes they inherit. After years of GOP attacks on the inheritance tax, also known as the estate tax, only a few thousand of the wealthiest families are subjected to it -- 4,700 total in 2013, according to the Joint Committee on Taxation. Only individual fortunes worth over $5.43 million can be taxed under current law, an amount that doubles to $10.86 million for wealthy couples. The Republican proposal would eliminate all of these estates -- which are over 15,700 percent richer than the median American household -- from taxation.

Inheritance taxes are at the center of the policy debate over economic inequality. French economist Thomas Piketty has called for a global wealth tax to combat widening economic inequality based on unearned wealth passed between generations. But the Republican bill scheduled for a vote this week would move in the exact opposite direction, eliminating even the limited taxes on family capital that the United States currently deploys.

"There has been a very aggressive lobbying campaign by some of the wealthiest families in the country for a couple of decades now," said Chuck Marr, director of federal tax policy at the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities, a liberal-leaning think tank. "But this is more radical than other recent efforts."

No Democrats voted for the GOP bill, dubbed the Death Tax Repeal Act of 2015, in committee. And the legislation wouldn't just eliminate the estate tax -- it would also allow heirs to escape the already-generous capital gains tax on any stocks and real estate they receive. The change would significantly alter the meaning of the capital gains tax, since capital gains taxes only hit the wealthy when they actually sell an asset. Moguls could keep their wealth in the stock market and pass it down from generation to generation without ever being taxed.

The result is an economic inequality double-whammy in which two of the most pro-rich elements of the tax code are further weakened, costing the federal government $269 billion over the next 10 years, according to the Congressional Budget Office.

Half of all capital gains flow to the richest 0.1 percent of Americans, and they are taxed at just 20 percent, well below the 39.6 percent rate for ordinary income. But the estate tax is even more regressive, applying to just 0.2 percent of estates a year, at an average effective rate of less than 17 percent, since millions of dollars of the inheritance are exempted from the formal 40 percent rate.
Federal inheritance taxes used to be broader. In the 1970s, according to the JCT, about 6 percent of all estates were subject to the estate tax. During the Great Depression, the rate on the estate tax was 70 percent. But the Republican campaign against it went into overdrive in the 1990s and hasn't let up, even in the Obama era. Conservatives routinely make a moral argument against what they call "the death tax," saying it is unfair to tax a family just because one if its members has died.

Economists point out that shielding unearned inheritances from tax doesn't encourage any useful activity, and Democrats have typically opposed efforts to chip away at the estate tax. But they have allowed a host of Republican efforts to go through in broad bipartisan deals. In 1997, President Bill Clinton's budget secured child health care funding in exchange for a GOP item narrowing the estate tax to exclude a host of wealthy families. In late 2010 and again in the 2013 fiscal cliff deal, Democrats included generous inheritance tax measures into a bargain with Republicans.

The GOP has more than enough votes in the House to pass its latest proposal. But the legislation would likely succumb to a Democratic filibuster in the Senate or to a presidential veto. But while the bill has almost no chance of passing on its own, it could spur lawmakers to include a new break for the super-rich in must-pass legislation later this year, when Congress will need to raise the debt ceiling or fund the government, particularly if the GOP is able to peel off a few dozen conservative Democrats to vote in favor of this week's bill.

Paris to Monroe

Paris Hilton's 2 Perfume Launch as Marilyn Monroe

Paris Hilton thinks so much of Monroe that she'd put the actress in the same category as herself... and we all know how she feels about herself. Hilton dressed like Monroe in the Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend number for the premiere of her movie The Hottie and the Nottie in 2008. Two years later, the hotel heiress donned a curve-hugging white dress, faux fur, diamonds, and retro hair and makeup as a nod to the actress at the launch of her Tease perfume, which was also inspired by Monroe. "I have loved [Monroe] ever since I was a little girl," Paris said at the time. "I just thought she was the most beautiful woman, the camera loved her, and onscreen she was like no one else. Calling her a tease was something fun, because she was such a flirt." Hilton opened up more about her admiration for the screen goddess in an interview with the U.K.'s Sunday Times. "I think every decade has an iconic blonde — like Marilyn Monroe or Princess Diana — and right now, I'm that icon."

Negro Science = a state of mind

FOR CONSIDERATION: "Black man and black woman shouldn't have to wait till death to find freedom in this world." posed by Lioness Daiba Sala

No.

What is bound on earth is bound above. What is released below is mirrored above. That being said is freedom of spirit guaranteed on the other side if one's spirit is not free in this plane? Now, I say that in the context of the North American continent. Let me be specific and clear, and further I hear Blacks here say, "Black People can only expect to pay taxes and die." or "The white man's foot is always on my neck. I can't get anywhere..." The same meaning different ways of saying, "The Black man and Black woman shouldn't have to wait 'til death to find freedom in this world!"

In light of all the freedoms won, and exercised in this country are we really talking about a way of looking at present circumstances with the eyes and perceptions of the grandchildren of ex-slaves? I look around and see the counter to this gloomy outlook in the Black community on a daily basis in or outside of the ghettos. Is freedom being discussed as a slave, as one who hasn't learned to think and direct things his/her way, or are we giving excessive attention to people deeply invested in defeat who are unskilled negotiating with power as a powerful person? - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories 12.19.13
