to unfold.

Pristine Edge is a tiny little thing. With wonder or regret how does she determine the quality of her life, of Life and how does she fits within the scheme of things? The answers remain, in essence, a riddle of existence. -Heart Song Stone Man [7/22/78]

Florida Teacher kills Racoons for Sport, for Students.

Couldn't bare to look at the video, or pictures. It brings to memory what my Ancestors went through watching the wanton killing of our animals, and ways of life the Europeans viewed as sport, and their right in God's name. It is so close to the present. That spirit the teacher has never went away and died. It wasn't transformed at any point in American, or European history. It became hard, unrepentant, and determined forever more to become more emboldened. As a First Nations/African man, this inner violence is in the air, and never hidden!... - Gregory E. Help my Unbelief.

There was a time in my life I searched for a wife intelligently. During this period I met Jehovah Witness women spreading their doctrine in tiny little group huddles, and occasionally a Catholic nun, or two who would peak my attention! I have stories about the one's from each camp who aroused me causing me to put in work to persuade the one I'd singled out to be my mate! To another person, it is a credulous request bordering on sacrilegious. To me, it was an untapped approach, a venture worth taking, a hunt prepared for over the preceding years stalking solitude.

In the end, I wanted to do things the old way. I asked my Grandfather Teacher to find me a wife.

Nun's unbridled passions are secrets. Well, that is what a lot of us men tell ourselves. I only had one real possibility of breaking through the shell of a Nun to find the shell hiding her core that needed the balance of a husband. If it weren't for the senior woman present in that small group of Nuns, I would have courted her, and possibly been her husband. That was a long time ago. I fared better waiting for Jan. - Gregory E. 13th Amendment, American Reality, and What's Wrong is. . .

“[I urge you to] think about the historical system of slavery and… the institution of the prison together. And specifically I want us to think about the extent to which the vast global apparatus of imprisonment, and particularly corporate involvement in the business of punishment, that these developments are related to what I would call the sedimented history of slavery we are living out today. In other words, slavery has not yet been completely abolished.” ~ Angela Davis, Sept 19, 2003

RACE in DC

Diahann Carroll, actress

Here is a short, but probing video of Diahann Carroll about race, as she remembers it in her childhood.

It is too late, but listen anyway!

In the depth of American life is the ignorance of a people void of understanding how we live in relationship to the other peoples of the world. In our lives we are not introduced to spirit because the great pride of the country is the separation of the parts that come from and belong to the whole. Of wholeness is the possibility of anything within everything. This profound ignorance kills taking the life out of other's lives the way we live as if nothing else matters but what we want to dream about.

Sex Appeal !

Tila Tequila, real name Tila Nguyen, bent over and questions flew all over the place about her sexuality and who would have sex with her? Was she a lesbian, bisexual, did she give head, who would marry her on the two years of her reality show? She didn't find true love on her show. She was vague about the definition of love and her comprehension of profound spiritual science was shallow because she made herself into a product; branding they call it. Branding.

She was desirable, but the extent of her maturity matched the limits of her imagination and her vision of self matched her perception of her Self, which she understood enough to make good money as a reality star for a few years. One day it was over and the spotlight fell away from her and she was no longer talked about on television. That is sad from one perspective. From another perspective there is no sadness. There is only the flow of life. - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories 10/13/15

Sex appeal runs the gamut of preferences. Some women fall far behind the social standards and to many observers have no appeal because they are grossly fat, poor and uneducated, but their sexual prowess is legendary to a man, or men aroused by what others don't see in a pale fat woman of medium age. There are old women past the prime years of men lusting after them. Dismissed from being seen as sex objects many old women languish in their own lust, loneliness and an ever burning desire for a man's penetration into her body. There are women bound to wheelchairs. They are wet with desire. Because of their appearance it escapes the radar of eligible men that there sits a horny woman confined to a wheelchair and then there is the fear of predators aroused by bondage who devise ways to sexually take advantage of chair bound women.

It is a dangerous world until someone comes along protecting the weak and vulnerable. A man cannot save everyone, but men can protect women from the lust and strength of unscrupulous men. The question to men is how is it possible? This is where Elders talk.

I am writing into the problem of lack in most lives. The problem of not having a system of Elders in our culture, our neighborhoods, our thought patterns is complicated by the arrogance of what many see as accomplishment, justify as progress, and define as independence. Science has created guided missiles. Financial wizards created intangible money systems. All of this innovation has not laid discipline into life patterns, deep commitment to discovery has been voided from the education system, and impeccability as a force within sexuality is an unknown dimension; and worse of all no system of Eldership has ushered the Sacred into the composition of wholeness as a natural state of being into the corrupt system of thought and action into American lifestyles!

We are content in a sad state.

POETRY of BEAUTY

Questions about Love's properties are quite frankly esoteric probings into what renders romantic notions about love absurd.

FULL: Bill Clinton Responds To Black Lives Matter Protesters With Hard F...

"One of the problems with today's young Black activists is what they don't know and their lack of intellectual discipline to match their righteousness. Going public on important issues concerning Black lives has to be led and followed by people steeped in facts, truth and understanding of the contradictions of Black lives and white/Black relationships from a high and complex level. Without the ears to learn, and the inclination to listen to Ancestors and wise Elders or the words of powerful agitators, like President Clinton, today's young Black activists weaken their positions losing public support because emotional hysteria does not replace informed confrontation.

Youth cannot lead protests uniformed, disconnected from their Ancestors and disassociated from the causes in Africa. Unintelligent activism did not happen in the Civil Rights movements, or the résistance movements preceding that era. Black people had deep pride and their integrity was a vaulted commodity despite the estimations made by white Americans. Black Americans today consistently shoot themselves in the foot being on the defense even in the interior of the offensive position they hold in the causes for the betterment of their people. Being consistent in their inconsistencies is not a strategy that works or produces the preferred results. It becomes a comedy and embarrassing.

Black lives matter, but Black activist's, and protestor's intelligence has to be developed to higher levels of consciousness to be respected and considered by those opposed to the Black liberation movements of the early 21st century!

Further, Mr. Clinton in his short dissertation poked ever so slightly at a major flaw in Black consciousness that has harmed and retarded the relationships between Black Americans and Africans living in the continent. Black Americans deplore their African roots, and flaunt this character flaw unknowingly and to their detriment for all to see, examine and ridicule. This was a large flaw during the Civil Rights movement whites took notice of, and have kept silent on the public stage for good, well thought out reasons.

Until Black Americans become African-Americans the chances of true liberation will always remain aloof, and white Americans will continue to snicker under their breath about our insistence to be consistent in our inconsistencies!"

Symba "HEY YOU"

Looking for some documents I ran across some charts that Al Johnson wrote for SYMBA. This chart is a Cello part for the song "HEY YOU" that did pretty well on the Billboard Hot 100 singles.
It was a pleasure to be in the recording studio to see the magic from Al's mind transform into music.

TERROR U.S. of A.

Hatewatch

Did you know that as of today one of the most racist forums on the internet has now been in existence for 20 years? http://sp.lc/KQKVU

Will it be around for another 20 years? Yes. The U.S. government keeps these organizations around. They are apart of the theme of the country, like the pledge, the patriotic songs. They'll be around and treated with kid gloves serving their public, most of whom do not put their alliegence to the cause of white terror and supremacy on front street.
Yeah, they will be around. - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories (1.29.16)
