ADULTERY:
weakness of the flesh, revelation of the spirit
It takes a great deal of honest introspection to see one's worth, and more training to understand where one fits into the whole, and to understand the depth of need to have sex, to connect with another person, and the powers of divinity through sexual intercourse. The scheme of how many lives has nothing to do with relationship to how things work internally, or externally. It is difficult in the Western system to navigate. Much time, and pride is given, and felt in the belief that the complex elements of the whole are separate from each other. In that worldview concepts like merging are dismissed, and women and men are short changed in the arena of magical living, foresight, insight, and inspection of soul, might and intent.
It is sad, but many prefer to be immature, and victims. They will never ascend out of the base elemental forces of adulterous, and dangerous sexual lifestyles and these types of discussions because sex and lust are powerful, and deeply a part of who we are as People, and it takes a particular type of maturity and need to have dominion over one's spirit! The sex drive is so powerful even the holy ones around us have to struggle against these forces of their Natures. How we tutor ourselves in this area is determined by cultural beliefs, religion, spiritual powers born from the tutelage of our initiation(s), if we had them, or not.
Spirituality and the sex drive are the same. They come from the same source, and cannot be defined without the accompaniment of the other. They are like breath and words. One does not exist, or want to live without the other. A man, if I may introduce manhood into this discussion, needs constant validation through the channels produced within the inner chambers of a woman's womb. It connects us deeply. How it does is dependent upon the type of man we are, and intend to be.
