The average response time of a 911 call is 23 minutes; the response time of a .357 is 1400 feet per second. That does not negate the fact that a soft answer turns away wrath, and that the power of the spoken word is the power of life and death.
I learned some things in the gun confrontations and gun fights I was involved in as a law enforcement officer. The challenge is not ignorance it is fear. Americans operate on a high level of fear.
