the Explorations of Mysterious things. . .

Kathie Lee Gifford was born August 16, 1953 in Paris, France.

Lust to Relief to Sin?

Sensual fires burning within...

There are realities you want to wake up to and those you don't. Before you sleep there are choices we make. Oh, Yess, there are moments we want to believe a woman pretending to be sizzling is but is really a danger to your soul. How often men have fallen into the holes they've created is the number of times women have been blamed for their shame, their fall. It is in the Bible! - Gregory E. PRACTICE SEVENTEEN: restraint

Playboy Babes

Stephanie Santiago posing for Playboy Babes
December 8, 2013
the 8th wonder is within looking at the scope of what one is able to discover, able to explore and capable of playing with if it is dangerous, or not to the soul. Temptation is often in the form of women, who will be condemned if the skill to resist the forbidden does not help the man get away safely. We create roles for each other, and for ourselves as havens to imagine we can go there and not be faced with the enormity of our desires, and the fires of the flesh. It is very difficult being a principled man. Your principles are attractive, and the flesh needs to eat and consume what can drive it towards heights the imaginations and visions say you can ascend to, and pussy and being held so easily places one beyond his circumstances and the state of his affairs.

Words have always been allies. So, one cannot look down upon the poor soul who is reciting holy scriptures, whose brow is beaded with sweat and he is threatening to cave into the seduction of She who invites him in. Many do, and would laugh at so desperate a measure ignoring the fact and power of words, and their capabilities to build and design our circumstances. We can create the impossible scenario, and create a positive exit plan with strategies that won't stir degrading feelings within the woman we know we cannot and should not bed. Seduction begins where it appears it did not come from. Seduction moves two directions in the same moment, and seduction comes from beyond where we speak from and into existence. Seduction doesn't simply come at the sight of a woman's bottom swallowing a white thong. It comes from desires, and needs to feel powerful.

"Did God give us the breath of life to place it under death's feet? Did He give us liberty to make it a shadow for slavery? He who extinguishes his spirits's fire with his won hands is an infidel in the eyes of Heaven, for Heaven set the fire that burns in our spirits. He who does not rebel against oppression is doing himself injustice." ~ Kahlil Gibran

Eagles & Men

Scientists have determined that the core of the Earth is 6,000 degrees Celsius; 1,000 degrees hotter than previously thought. This new data fits the model that says there must be a temperature difference of 1,500 degrees Celsius to generate a magnetic field. The previous temperature did not fit those parameters.

IN THE WATERS

The Photo

The SITE

A favorite conceptual idea involves the dream of water, being in and of water. Creatures of the waters have something beautiful and unattainable to anyone. It is outside of the reach and deep within us all: water. Water teaches us and holds us from conception to birth, and if you are not European, has always been part of the daily ritual of life.  Water is the sacred element that tells the story of everyone's religion, and debunks theories of supremacy, and dominance. Water gauges all attempts to waste. The stillness and the ferocity of water are the women we come from, and seek in life as mates, friends and companions if we have wisdom and are balanced with truths, and clarity and are willing to submit to the stability and ability and uncertainty and the calmness of water.

Water talks to the elements of stone, metal, air, Earth, our Mother, Fire, and anger, love, fear in such a way that one either drowns or comes alive renewed. Water is the burial for the dead, and the resurrection of the seed. Water is a She and is the powerful force of nature women carry within them. It is within the Wombs of Mothers, and Virgins, and within the sacred places of our Wise Women. Water balances and dominates when necessary the judgements and the healing qualities of Fire the way a woman's touch eases the brow of a man's rage. Water is the tutor of the Soul, and the bearer of  children.

How I've come to revere Water as I revere the other sacred elements in relationship to Her came through the waters I lived in. The words of my Mommy's soul echoed. The words of Mommy were Life. They were as powerful as the Creator's. The powers of Life and Death resided there with authority as capable as the Love she cultivated within herself.

I live with memories of my Mother's soul caring for me while I lived within Mommy for 9 months, and nursed as a baby until I was weaned into the deeper aspects of self, play, and discovery that marked the concentric circles of being loved and protected by my father, and his relationship to the waters, and his understanding relationship with love, and the way he loved his wife. - Gregory E. Newest Creation Story!

Creatress creating...

I've long thought or believed creation's stories were set into place by events special storytellers translated for children in future generations to understand. It felt like they were assembled to be told in the holiest of ways and within a physical space that resembled the origins of things, place and time. This story feels like that.- Gregory E. Woods, (Dawn Wolf) Keeper of Stories 11.29.13

Crow Woman

"To be read aloud to your children. To be shared. To be Remembered."

The Tale of Seven Volcanoes

This is the story as it was seen by the eyes of the tellers. As I write this story for the children of times to come I must say I beheld these happenings with my very eyes. Some days ago, a set of notable folks gathered at the Bay of Hanalei. They gathered to celebrate the birthday of a child who bears the name of the land upon which they stood. You see this child was named for a special tree that grows on the cliffs northerly of this bay where the mermaid queen once called home and the peoples of today call the cave pool below the “Blue Room.” So, on this birth celebration day of Banyan Immanual, the peoples gathered and celebrated as they do on this island of Kauai, with fun, and surf, and food, and fire.

As the sun set, and the fire began to wane, several gathered near the glowing embers. To some it may have looked like a few unlikely children and two fathers curling up by the fire, but you see this evening it was a special group of people. Let me call them by name:

2 fathers John Andrew and Trinity along with 5 children.

Banyan Immanual son of John Andrew and Victoria Louise of Kentucky born and brother to Angelic Koa NaKai

Triton, son of Holy Trinity and Saint Mary Martha, brother to Rizon

Nene, son of Greek Niko of the Sea and Angelic Carla, brother to Anulea

Anulea, son of Greek Niko of the Sea and Angelic Carla, and sister to NeNe

Jonathon, son of Vanessa of Drum and Dance and Francis Primeaux Jr., brother to Wanbli, Grandson to Francis Primeaux Sr.

With these notable children of origin and power a special combination wove you see that gives rise to tell this tale onto thee. Each child began to shape the sand around the central fire, they shaped the sand to mountains of various size and in various direction. They shaped the sand with the seawater, they prepared the fire with the iron wood and java plum they worked the coals of the fire. Then they called forth to Pele. Then they called forth to Poseidon, to Hephaestus, to the Mermaid Queen, to Kama Pua’a, to Angel Carla, to Angel Koa. They said let us give life to mountains, let us fill them with fire. Let us show man creation, let us show the man the power of the Children of the Land.

So, each of the 7 sand mountains became sand volcanoes and the earth magic began. As each child took the glowing coals from the central fire to fill the core of each mountain the volcanoes sprang to life. Then each child fed the volcanoes with breath and fuel as flames erupted. A beautiful site it was to my eye to see 7 glowing volcanoes on the Bay of Hanalei.

7 days for earth and fire and sea works of such to take form, to manifest, and on the 7th day it came within hours of each other November 23, 2013.

1. In Japan, a volcano on Nishino-Shima Island erupted for the first time in 40 years. The eruption resulted in a new island in the Pacific.

2. Italy’s Mount Etna Erupts, Briefly Closes Sicily Skies.

3. Mexico's Colima Volcano created a steam and ash cloud that reached two miles into the sky.

4. In Guatemala, Fire Mountain lived up to its name and created a moderate ash could that blanketed the nearby towns with ash fall.

5. In Vanuatu in the Pacific, the Yasur Volcano had some weak explosions and the resultant ash fall is affecting farm lands.

6. in Indonesia, Mount Merapi on the island of Java exploded

7. In Indonesia, the country's Mount Sinabung spewed ash cloud four miles high

7 people, 7 days and 7 volcanoes, from a central fire, from the youthful medicine born to their blood. The earth magic is strong and creation is at foot. I tell this true tale to the children of times to come so we may not forget the power born within our being, the power begging to shine in your life, be it volcano or a song, each of you were born to this earth with medicine, and magic, with gifts and purpose. So we beg of you live your life full and express your genius in every corner of earth walk for we can see so clearly the future is in your hands so in this moment shine."  By Vittorio Hernandez | November 25, 2013 10:02 AM EST

What to understand is underscored...

There is a standard one must bear as a shield, and emblem of power as a woman. I've sensed this the whole of my life. Now that my mother, who taught me these things, is dead I feel it even more this mystique, this powerful energy capable of moving between worlds into lives. - Dawn Wolf, Keeper of Stories 5.28.13

clay & fire

Prometheus in Greek mythology is credited with the creation of man from clay, and the theft of fire for human use, an act that enabled progress and civilization. He is known for his intelligence, and as a champion of mankind. The punishment of Prometheus as a consequence of the theft is a popular subject of both ancient and modern art. Zeus, king of the Olympian gods, sentenced the Titan Prometheus to eternal torment, where he was bound to a rock, and each day an eagle, the emblem of Zeus, was sent to feed on his liver, only to have it grow back to be eaten again the next day.

Prometheus became a figure who represented human striving, particularly the quest for scientific knowledge, at the risk of overreaching or unintended consequences. He was regarded in the Romantic era as embodying the lone genius whose efforts to improve human existence could also result in tragedy. from Art is the Soul's Food

POTAWATOMI STORY: gift of the Medicine Wheel

Creation Story - Potawatomi

Anishnabe found himself alone on earth. The Creator told him to give everything a name, and he did this, accompanied by a wolf. He discovered that only he, among the many species, was alone, without a mate, and he was lonely.

He traveled to the Great Lakes and while searching, heard a beautiful song coming across the water. The woman's voice was singing that she was making a home for him. He fell in love with the voice and the song. In the days that followed, he learned how to cross the water and finally came to a lodge facing west. There lived a beautiful woman and her father, the Firekeeper.

This was the first union - Anishabe and the Fire Keeper's Daughter. It determined the roles of men and women in marriage. They had four sons, who when they were grown traveled to the four directions of the earth. The son who traveled north had a hard journey, but learned that the melting snow cleansed Mother Earth. Because of the snow, the color for North is white. This son married the daughter of the Spirit of the North and was given sweet grass, the first gift of Mother Earth. It is kept in a braid like a mother's hair.

The second son traveled east, into the yellow of the rising sun. He learned that fire is the essence of life and gained in knowledge of the Creator. He married the daughter of the Spirit of the East, and was given tobacco to use in prayer, to communicate with the Creator. The third son went south, which is the woman's direction from which comes seeds and other things that give life. Red, the color of life's blood, is the color for south. He married the Spirit of the South's daughter and was given the gift of cedar, which is used to cleanse and purify the home and prepare for food.

The fourth son went West, toward the mountains. Marrying the Spirit of the West's daughter, he was given sage and learned that the setting sun represents the circle of life and its cycle. The color for West is black, for the dark time, and the sage, a strong purifier, is to keep illness away.

Smoke from the cedar and sage is fanned upward with an eagle feather because the eagle once saved the Indian people when the Creator would have destroyed them. The eagle told the Creator there were faithful people on earth, and was sent out each morning to see if the smoke still rose from the lodges of those good people. Fanning the smoke with the eagle feather symbolizes the eagle delivering the message to the Creator that his people are still there and still believe. - from archives of

Gayanashagowa

CONSTITUTION OF THE IROQUOIS NATIONS: THE GREAT BINDING LAW, GAYANASHAGOWA

"Every few years I read and absorb into my spirit The Great Law of the Haudenosaunee, and I re-read the story of The Peace Maker. It is important and fundamental. Without it we forget the roots of the tree and don't take care of the tree. The only thing I read the evening of September 11, 2001 and for the next couple of weeks were the stories of the Peace Makers from the different tribes on Turtle Island. That was all I needed in my head and my spirit with the nation running amok with fool's wisdom and unchecked fears governing actions, and incompetency holding sway of the US Congress." - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories

.

1. I am Dekanawidah and with the Five Nations Confederate Lords I plant the Tree of Great Peace.  I plant it in your territory, Adodarhoh, and the Onondaga Nation, in the territory of you who are Firekeepers.  I name the tree the Tree of the Great Long Leaves.  Under the shade of this Tree of the Great Peace we spread the soft white feathery down of the globe thistle as seats for you, Adodarhoh, and your cousin Lords.

We place you upon those seats, spread soft with the feathery down of the globe thistle, there beneath the shade of the spreading branches of the Tree of Peace.  There shall you sit and watch the Council Fire of the Confederacy of the Five Nations, and all the affairs of the Five Nations shall be transacted at this place before you, Adodarhoh, and your cousin Lords, by the Confederate Lords of the
Five Nations.

2. Roots have spread out from the Tree of the Great Peace, one to the north, one to the east, one to the south and one to the west.  The name of these roots is The Great White Roots and their nature is Peace and Strength

If any man or any nation outside the Five Nations shall obey the laws of the Great Peace and make known their disposition to the Lords of the Confederacy, they may trace the Roots to the Tree and if their minds are clean and they are obedient and promise to obey the wishes of the Confederate Council, they shall be welcomed to take shelter beneath the Tree of the Long Leaves.

We place at the top of the Tree of the Long Leaves an Eagle who is able to see afar.  If he sees in the distance any evil approaching or any danger threatening he will at once warn the people of the Confederacy.

3. To you Adodarhoh, the Onondaga cousin Lords, I and the other Confederate Lords have entrusted the caretaking and the watching of the Five Nations Council Fire.

When there is any business to be transacted and the Confederate Council is not in session, a messenger shall be dispatched either to Adodarhoh, Hononwirehtonh or Skanawatih, Fire Keepers, or to their War Chiefs with a full statement of the case desired to be considered.  Then shall Adodarhoh call his cousin (associate) Lords together and consider whether or not the case is of sufficient importance to demand the attention of the Confederate Council.  If so, Adodarhoh shall dispatch messengers to summon all the Confederate Lords to assemble beneath the Tree of the Long Leaves.

When the Lords are assembled the Council Fire shall be kindled, but not with chestnut wood, and Adodarhoh shall formally open the Council.

[ ed note: chestnut wood throws out sparks in burning,
thereby creating a disturbance in the council ]

Then shall Adodarhoh and his cousin Lords, the Fire Keepers, announce the subject for discussion.

The Smoke of the Confederate Council Fire shall ever ascend and pierce the sky so that other nations who may be allies may see the Council Fire of the Great Peace. Adodarhoh and his cousin Lords are entrusted with the Keeping of the Council Fire.

4. You, Adodarhoh, and your thirteen cousin Lords, shall faithfully keep the space about the Council Fire clean and you shall allow neither dust nor dirt to accumulate.  I lay a Long Wing before you as a broom.  As a weapon against a crawling creature I lay a staff with you so that you may thrust it away from the Council Fire.  If you fail to cast it out then call the rest of the United Lords to your aid. . .

ANGRY YOUNG MEN

Prayers are fine. I don't refute that, but young men in a culture made of fire develop deep thirsts. He needs balancing elements to guide him, and understand him with detachment and care. Water is the very element. Anytime his anger shows itself or smolders in a room place water around him, under beds, atop furniture. No need for a lot of conversation to cool hot surfaces.” Dawn Wolf, Keeper of the Drum

MAGICAL MATHEMATICAL MOMENT

Cosetta Chantal
 a Sacred story

“There is a point water blends with the Earth, our Mother. That moment is often brief, and goes unnoticed. Noticed, the moment can extend the length of time, expand the merger, and bring form to the intangible elements of water and Earth. Other times breath (Air) is inhaled, or breathed into the form and a dream comes true, a force shifts and moves with all four elements, and Creation stirs the fires and the will to live is stronger than Death. The moment Life is stronger than Death Love emerges. It is amazing the mysteries of this Lifetime, and times past. Our words speak Life into forms as vast in scope and range as a smile, a mate, a laugh, a large building. It is incredible to be a Woman, I think. It is incredible to be a man, I know.” – Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories
