5 Laws of a People.

Chitimacha teaching

"There is responsibility for each person towards each person. This is the first law.  Council is important and being inclusive is a fundamental law for living on Earth: Law two. The third law that came to mind sparked the Judeo-Christian trigger within me, and with some embarrassment I thought about the order of the gender: Man then Woman. I stopped because unlike the Eden story the emphasis is on joint cooperation, and no one in the story is above the other. The fourth law.

The Earth is dependent upon the Animal, Plant, Mineral, Human, Sky People relationship and the story instructs the Chitimacha on the fifth law of the People."

MYSTERTY Mysterious

nude study of Hot Lyke Fiya

"Mystery. Mystery. Mystery can be displaced, shattered, devalued, demystified leaving a woman with nothing of substance to hold on to or give away from heart to heart. The question to a relationship with a woman is based upon the depth of manhood and the developmental process to become a man. Without vision neither a man, or a woman can be the right mate and without a life vision a woman cannot hold the mysteries she was born to possess because vision allows one to see with clarity and clarity sits opposite Power in the sacred teachings of the Medicine Wheels." - Gregory E. Our languages

Buddha within Tracey Marie Starks

At the request of my niece I recently spoke at her high school on language and culture from the perspective of the indigenous people of Turtle Island. It is a complex subject with pain, deep pain in our relationship with the White People. In the intimacy of the classroom setting I thought this a perfect way to convey deep truths to young minds about themselves in relation to the invisible worlds around them. Aside from the discussions about my people's languages I could not learn coming up, and the European languages I learned growing up I learned languages from the Earth, our Mother that took the children far away from what they thought they knew about language. The animal spirits who come with each of us into the world at birth; the Animal People, Plant People, and insects who speak to each other and others who would, or need to listen to their spirits are heard through a language they own, and share with us. Our receptivity is a gift to them, our disregard of them is our shame and misfortune.

You should not shame children. You entice them, spark their imagination, or leave them wondering and curious about things if you want the relationship with them. Through story they will come to listen to the Elders, and recognize the messages from the Realms of Ancestors. A life lived by the story, and stories you tell keep them attentive to who you are, and what you can gift them as they become who they are meant to become.

The other language of Native people is in our symbols. Our Medicine Wheel teachings are powerful womb teachings. The concepts they can reveal relating cardinal points with directions from each quadrant's place within the Circle is a force gentle upon knowing the need for understanding, and the requirements of maturation are the needed places to fortify the structure of mind, body, spirit and emotions of each initiate...

Coloured thoughts of, about and for Life

Someone must've said these words, "Love is a symbol of eternity. It wipes out all sense of time, destroying all memory of a beginning and all fear of an end." Who said them? This is one deplorable things about the Internet. The overwhelming numbers of people without journalistic training, respect for scholarship in possession with scant knowledge about intellectual properties and the courtesies around it. ~ Gregory E. Question the QUEST you are upon.

"There is death in life we either clatter away from in an effort to put distance between our lives and its presence, or one becomes still, and allows oneself to become a sacred person in relationship with their own deaths. It is all a choice until we have to die." - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories 3.26.13

WOMEN'S WHEEL

http://i49.tinypic.com/li6ts.jpg

The Medicine Wheels unique to women are intricately linked to the revolving lives of men. How? is a study. Lifetime studies begin within, and within oneself is the purpose of study, and reconciliation. As many circles (Medicine Wheels) are there to study are as many aspects of one's Being understanding its need to be studied. One leads to another, and back again in ever evolving circles. There is a major link in a Manhood Wheel important to the relationship between the best of masculinity, and the feminine. It reads as it is lived.

The four (4) cardinal points of the Wheel, North (King), East (Teacher), South (Friend), and West (Warrior) are linked with an important Circle of Womanhood in the western point of the Manhood Wheel. You have to visualize this. It is important to see and feel where, and how the energies of the Manhood Circle in the West interlocks with the eastern gate of this Woman's Wheel. It is East meets West.

The Eastern direction for the Woman's Circle is the Healer. The Healer with the capacity and experience of birthing life into the Earth's sphere balances, and teaches both the Protector, which is the ideal, and the Killer, which American communities are masters of creating within their children. - Gregory E. PIECE TOGETHER THE BROKEN

Megan Fox's legs raised is suggestive, and will raise a man's attention span noticably. It means one thing to one group and another and other things  to other people what we are looking at, and what we are seeing, and what the actress is showing to her public. To a  Sarah Palin, and many mothers it would alarm them knowing their daughters' sexuality is blooming in the spring, fall, and other seasons of the year. It is daunting for any parent to send their children unprepared and prepared into a world full of darkness, and violence, and social predatory practices that capture the ideals in Venus fly traps.

The terror of it all is more important to be understood from the perspective of elders who have initiated youth into adulthood. - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of the Sacred Medicine Wheels 4.3.13

Sarah Palin enhanced in pink lingerie is either a spoof, an insult, or a degradation of the ideals she tried to  espouse. This obviously isn't her body. It is her face set upon another woman's body that tricks my thinking. Sarah Palin is a beautiful woman to look at, and as a mother I'd rate her quite high. I don't think as she does, but I tried to see the words of her mouth without looking at how good she looks, and I saw a set of fears I could not relate to or dignify sympathetically.

I don't share the fears whites have about losing their dominance in the world as their numbers shrink before ever growing populations of Colored People. I don't feel any urgency or necessity to arm myself any more to assert dominance over a world already conquered. I don't have the desperate, and deserved fear of retribution from all of the historical 'shit' left in the wake of my coming and goings.

No, I have the considerations and concerns of a Peace Keeper; a facilitator, a father and a man ready, and able to help my relatives. - Gregory E. Woods, 4.3.13

INNOCENT WATERS

sacred i am

"I feel it too. I always have. The feel and the pull of innocence lives so deeply within a body. It is precious in the sight of the beholder. It is precious in a child. Virginity, the taste of good food eaten gratefully, play, the innocent freedom of child's play, and not being crass, or mean are all the attributes of freedom and the composition of freedom is sewn by innocent hands.

The violation of the principles of protection by adults is a harsh and cruel let down for innocent children dependent upon their adults. Teenagers hear all the time how much contempt is leveled at girls and boys who seek to maintain their innocence by Chasity, abstinence, or good behavior. Their deep feelings of innocence are inarticulate spirits, it seems, that the violated adults surrounding them are stung by. Perhaps the memories of a man, or a woman's loss spur the actions of the predator from hibernation into action? The inability of hurt adults to find refuge and validation from wounded childhoods in communities, churches and amongst people turns the precious into envy and scorn.

How sad. How sad for the children who give up their innocence, or denounce it to make others feel good about themselves." - Alowan Chanteh Inyan Wichasha 2.19.13

another Medicine Wheel teaching

from Arni Lightning

www.theworldpeacemaker.com

God’s Purpose

I have spoken with thousands of people who view their past and present failures as guarantees God will never be able to complete His purpose in their lives. For these people—indeed for most of us—a call to obedience seems a virtual seal against victory, for perfect obedience eludes them. But note the link this prayer forges between the heart and the intent to obey. What I want of God’s will counts more than the achievement of what I've done.

1 Samuel 16:7 says, “Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.” God is not as concerned with our perfection as He is with our direction.

Lord, let your ear be attentive to the prayer of this your servant and to the prayer of your servants who delight in revering your name. Give your servant success today by granting him favor in the presence of this man.” I was cupbearer to the king. (Nehemiah 1:11 NIV)

SPIRITUAL SCIENCES at work

photographer Omer H. Paracha was inspired in this piece by singer Kanye West's cover to his new album, "YEESUS"!
August 9, 2013

"This is a powerful Medicine Wheel teaching, and it is an extreme assertion against the sovereignty of God to the minds of many a fundamentalist of Islamic and Christian persuasions. One person may be the Seeker, and discovered with delight the indwelling power, and presence of Creation and the Creator existing not as an intellectual abstraction, but as a living entity within!

The deep probes into the psyche have traditionally been the way of the Shaman, the Healer who took care of the village. But the time of the one-on-one tutelage and the passing down of spiritual and sacred knowledge to an apprentice has been forced to become an old model. Earth's population has exceeded any projected number. Only the dreams of Seers long dead saw these vast numbers of people upon the planet. Moses saw our times, but few solutions to the complexity of relationships and our survival were revealed, and the art and responsibility of taking care of the soul was left to the design of each era's spiritual people..." ~ Alowan Chanteh Inyan Wichasha, 8.28.13

Leaving to DIE

In the last years of the last century I suddenly disappeared from everyone in my life including my family from whom my light is fed. I had to tell my mother because Mommy was, and has always been deeply connected to my spirit. To physically leave without a word to her was unthinkable. She would and did call my spirit, and in answer I left a book, "The Alchemist"  with her, and an understanding that if she read it she would understand her first-born.

Leaving was a drastic step made without pondering. It was a simple act of power, a reaction to a simple disappointment compounded by many weights. I was in the middle of a phone call. A sales call. The phone shut off. I couldn't pay the bill. In that one moment everything within me crashed and I heard myself say, "I can't take this shit no more."

I was in a daze, a stupor. I vaguely remember what I did next, but I do recall a bag in my hand with a few items including some books, clothes, a knife...  Days passed me. I know I went places, slept somewhere, felt some things, walked, but I cannot draw them up in my mind. I cried a lot for the woman I knew would forever live within me, but was not able to 'see' me, and for my children, at the time, lost to me. I was in a strange kind of darkness, but a deeper light came from somewhere, as was prophesied by Old Man, and I received the outcome of the massive amounts of spiritual work I'd put in for many years. It was mind blowing what came and still comes to me. That kind of death was worth the birth. - Gregory E. Woods, 2.22.13

a Medicine Wheel of a Shaman
from Bear Warrior

Elder's Meditation of the Day - December 28, 2012

"I believe that being a medicine man, more than anything else, is a state of mind, a way of looking at and understanding this earth, a sense of what it is all about."
-- Lame Deer, LAKOTA

The Medicine Wheel explains different ways of looking at the world. The four directions are the East, the South, the West, and the North. In the East is the view of the eagle. The eagle flies high and sees the earth from that point of view. The South is the direction of the mouse. Moving on the earth, the mouse will not see what the eagle sees. Both the eagle and the mouse see the truth. The West is the direction of the bear. The bear will see different from the mouse and the eagle. From the North comes the point of view of the bison. To be a Medicine Man you must journey through all points of view and develop the mind to see the interconnectedness of all four directions. This takes time, patience, and an open mind. Eventually, you understand there is only love.

POTAWATOMI STORY: gift of the Medicine Wheel

Creation Story - Potawatomi

Anishnabe found himself alone on earth. The Creator told him to give everything a name, and he did this, accompanied by a wolf. He discovered that only he, among the many species, was alone, without a mate, and he was lonely.

He traveled to the Great Lakes and while searching, heard a beautiful song coming across the water. The woman's voice was singing that she was making a home for him. He fell in love with the voice and the song. In the days that followed, he learned how to cross the water and finally came to a lodge facing west. There lived a beautiful woman and her father, the Firekeeper.

This was the first union - Anishabe and the Fire Keeper's Daughter. It determined the roles of men and women in marriage. They had four sons, who when they were grown traveled to the four directions of the earth. The son who traveled north had a hard journey, but learned that the melting snow cleansed Mother Earth. Because of the snow, the color for North is white. This son married the daughter of the Spirit of the North and was given sweet grass, the first gift of Mother Earth. It is kept in a braid like a mother's hair.

The second son traveled east, into the yellow of the rising sun. He learned that fire is the essence of life and gained in knowledge of the Creator. He married the daughter of the Spirit of the East, and was given tobacco to use in prayer, to communicate with the Creator. The third son went south, which is the woman's direction from which comes seeds and other things that give life. Red, the color of life's blood, is the color for south. He married the Spirit of the South's daughter and was given the gift of cedar, which is used to cleanse and purify the home and prepare for food.

The fourth son went West, toward the mountains. Marrying the Spirit of the West's daughter, he was given sage and learned that the setting sun represents the circle of life and its cycle. The color for West is black, for the dark time, and the sage, a strong purifier, is to keep illness away.

Smoke from the cedar and sage is fanned upward with an eagle feather because the eagle once saved the Indian people when the Creator would have destroyed them. The eagle told the Creator there were faithful people on earth, and was sent out each morning to see if the smoke still rose from the lodges of those good people. Fanning the smoke with the eagle feather symbolizes the eagle delivering the message to the Creator that his people are still there and still believe. - from archives of

CONTRADICTIONS IN PAIN

Boy, 4, Shot To Death For Being Gay Because He Slapped A Boy’s Behind | The New Civil Rights: The New Civil Rights Movement

Untrained minds in bodies immature and uncomfortable in the idea of who they are are the earmarks of the uniformed spirits that mark the evidence of the social and spiritual texture of this nations' being. It is unmistakable the numerous things that transpire in the young man's life, but in what order and what were they? The depth of belief and fear need to be known, in the light, and not lurking within individuals.

We are sick. We share a sickness. Lucas Moses, the alleged killer, is every man's failure to train the mind, spirit and emotions of boys, and firm evidence against the denial of the roots of homosexuality American and European style.

Fear of homosexuality and homosexual predators has been the bane of existence in communities for a long time. That fear has nothing to do with political advocacy, or social acceptability. This sore reeks of contradictions, fears mounted atop others in a tangled knot. The unaddressed structural damages at play in this one household tells a complex story Western society is capable of creating, sustaining but unable to heal, correct or balance! – Gregory E. MAGIC

One of the ways I motivate myself is by the recollections of my childhood. My childhood was ideal in many ways. My parents, for the most part, kept me in a state of learning by allowing so much time for me to play. In my vast imagination I made up many things, and being a child I could see the other worlds easy enough so I had more things to explore. I ate a lot; never missed a meal. Well once I did when I decided not to come home when the street lights came on so I could keep playing with my new holster and gun set. That was a helluva a whipping Daddy gave me. But for the most part my parents kept me within the confines of the four sacred places of the Child's Medicine Wheel. In that place I ate, slept, played and grew. There is nothing else for a child to do in life except those four things. - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories (1/11)

EYES: children

eye of a wild animal
Children are much like cats, in that they simply require understanding. Like cats children require parents, and other adults to figure them out interpreting their signs, and signals as they simply just be. There are four things a child needs to do without interruptions: Eat, Sleep, Play, and Grow. This is a Sacred teaching. The Sacred Medicine Wheel teaches this, and every place on Earth knows, and communicates this to adults. Everything a child needs lives within this Sacred Circle. Anything outside of this Circle is dangerous. Adults are responsible for keeping children within this space. Allowing anything else is abandonment, and abandonment is the core element of abuse. Abuse is the sore quality of anger. Anger, unmanaged, courts evil, and uncontrolled evil needs, calls, courts, corrals, deep dark relationships with malefic forces that neither respect or value life. Naturally this becomes a journey to sorcery, and the Sacred Wheel of this world destroys innocence, curiosity, and play within the child.

There is a light within sorcery. Its testimony is throughout the Bible. But the darkness of sorcery is conjured within children abandoned. Abandoned children can, and to often enter into a relationship with an Untrue Mind in the East of this Wheel, and sadly follow the dark sun’s journey South, West, and North into Greed, Envy, and Spiritual Materialism. That is bad enough but if things go too far an abandoned child can fall between Greed and Envy becoming Dark Sorcerers. ©Gregory E. Woods, (Alowan Chanteh Inyan Wichasha) Keeper of Stories 2010

The Centre of the Wheel

Moving the Assemblage Point

with Leo Rutherford, Howard G. Charing & Dawn Russell

The Level of Energy of all beings depends on three fundamental factors;
· The amount of energy with which they were conceived,
· The manner in which the energy has been utilised since birth,
· And the way in which it is being used at the present time. - Carlos Castaneda

There is a teaching that 80% of our energy is locked into habit, rigid patterns from generational & social conditioning and our personal history. The remaining 20% constitutes our true free will. The great teaching of the Medicine Wheel is to light a path to guide us towards release of these rigid habit patterns and addictions which, when unlocked, generates a reservoir of energy which can be used cognitively and with conscious intent. This is true free will and freedom - no longer living parental and cultural dreams but truly living our own.

The ultimate purpose of this body of practices is freedom. Freedom has powerful implications. Among these is that people must purposely seek and embrace change. It is no easy task to embrace change and thereby unlock the rigid structures which we have inherited, but we have innate magical qualities within ourselves to help us on the path to freedom.

Black powerful woman in control !!!!

In heightened awareness there is no objective world, but a universe consisting of flowing fields of energy where there is no subjective linear time. The particular alignment that we perceive as ‘the world’ is a product of ourselves. This alignment is within our own personal field of energy is called the ‘Assemblage Point’. On this course we work with the non-cardinal directions of the Medicine Wheel, the ‘movers and changers’.

The first movement, we begin the course at the South East, at our very beginning on the Earth, our conception and womb time when we have already started to absorb generational patterns, and emotional responses. By increasing our knowledge of what these are, we gain the ability to release and start the realignment of our assemblage point and thereby our terms of reference to the world. This part will include an overnight burial ceremony.

The second movement, is to the Southwest to examine our ‘Dream of Life’ - that which our soul has brought us into incarnation to experience and learn from. The objective is to ‘see’ this dream and apply our focussed will and intent to recreate and update this dream to one that meets with our soul’s needs now.

This is literally a step on the road to reinventing our-Self. The focus of this meeting will be the Circle of Mirrors ceremony which we have experienced as part of the South course. This time we will revisit this powerful ceremony from a whole different perspective. Includes the moving of the Assemblage Point with the aid of a crystal

The Third movement, is to the Northwest to look at pattern vs freewill (change and chaos) in our lives, to seek to strengthen our will to challenge patterns, habits and especially addictions. Ceremonies will include Trance-Dance, Trance postures and other pattern awareness shaking activities. This part may well be seriously challenging and is likely to involve some home-projects of a possibly challenging nature!

The fourth movement, is to the northeast and is about looking at the design and choreography of our lives and how we make our choices - and therefore how to actively make new and freer choices with consciousness and will. In a nutshell, to shift the assemblage point thus enabling seeing the world from other perspectives from which choices for freedom can more naturally be made.

This can shake up lives and worlds and assist greatly in the quest for ultimate freedom. Subtle energy dreaming exercises, painting, creating images, communing with nature energies will be part of this movement.

In the final meeting we will each sit in the Centre Of Our Wheel Of Life and face the directions our lives have taken us that have brought us here and the directions we now choose for our life to take us. The ultimate object of the course is to shift from being a person governed by the cross of the four cardinal directions to a person living in flowing movement and change in touch with and guided by the powers of the four non-cardinals - the movers and shakers.

MAGICAL MATHEMATICAL MOMENT

Cosetta Chantal
 a Sacred story

“There is a point water blends with the Earth, our Mother. That moment is often brief, and goes unnoticed. Noticed, the moment can extend the length of time, expand the merger, and bring form to the intangible elements of water and Earth. Other times breath (Air) is inhaled, or breathed into the form and a dream comes true, a force shifts and moves with all four elements, and Creation stirs the fires and the will to live is stronger than Death. The moment Life is stronger than Death Love emerges. It is amazing the mysteries of this Lifetime, and times past. Our words speak Life into forms as vast in scope and range as a smile, a mate, a laugh, a large building. It is incredible to be a Woman, I think. It is incredible to be a man, I know.” – Gregory E.
