BEYOND LOVE, questions

Love Beyond Words

In this spiritual journey, love is a prerequisite to happiness. When you learn to love without limits, you'll show the world what love really entails. Love is more than words; it's showing someone how much they mean to you through your actions. Your actions should show someone how much he or she means to you. An old friend of mine who didn't like to use the word love would tell me, 'I don't have to say I love you in order for you to know it. You can tell it through my actions.' I like this because love without action is meaningless and pointless.

In the Bible, the apostle Paul tells us, "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres." Please don't miss this - if you love with limits and conditions, you're not really loving as God loves. Think about how much God loves you in spite of your faults. If you want to truly experience God's love in your life, start loving others through your actions. Words are good, but actions are better. As I close this message, I want to let you know that I LOVE YOU through these messages, through my prayers, and through Christ who always strengthens me. - Dr. Sinclair Grey III 4.18.13

DEEP POWERS OF SHE

The clouds of paradise part as she enters the atmosphere. Her strength and endurance, especially in times of transition, are undeniably at her core. With power in her gaze, patience in her heart, and productivity in her hands, she plants her seed of loyalty in the tender Earth. The abundance of spring is her reward...and her gift to the Universe.....

TRAIT of a Warrior

CANCER & ART

Kelly Davidson's story

I remember the first time America saw a picture of a woman whose breasts were gone because of cancer. It frightened the country and embolden those weakened by the stigma. It shocked the senses, and still does although many can easily pretend not to be so affected. I have had the privilege of not having cancer, and the responsibility of sharing a cancer story with my mother who died of a cancer a few short weeks ago. The experience changes the calibre of the soul for a variety of reasons, and a number of ways.

Bringing beauty to what could be a road to suicide for some, mental depression for others I've know of is one of the deeper gifts. I looked closely at your face Kelly before I could look at the tattoo, and the joy in your face mirrored the words of your life, and the brilliance of your art. It is quite a gift nobility, non-attachment, and the release of spirit you've undergone. - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories 4.29.13

in HAITI

They are the "Akogun," reminiscent of the Yoruba heritage. We should be reminded that a vast majority of the people of Benin are Yoruba. The partition of Africa, particularly that portion of Africa, divided and separated them into two countries. It is not painting; it is a herbal-medicinal mixture, called "Ęfun." It is meant for cleansing the body, and soul. It is spiritual.

I can feel this deep in my loins.

Music penetrates the layers of emotions that are fostered by our soul--the spirit within us that breathes life into our bodies. So strong is the soul's response to music that it continues to inspire scientific research, inform government regulation, instigate racial conflict and revolutionize the health care industry.

2013 - The Year of The Sacred Feminine

mysterious energies of Shriya Saran
My New Year's resolution starts a month late. I want to blog with some regularity. Am I going to be able to maintain a once-a-week commitment? I have had time to consider it carefully as the year 2013 begins. Once again, the doomsday prophets misunderstood— the world did not end on Dec 21, 2012— the new era began as in our journey towards conscious evolution as we become, in Barbara Marx Hubbard's terms, 'homo universalis.'

Why 2013 as the year of the Sacred Feminine? ‘Triskaidekaphobia’ (the fear of the number 13) is why many high-rise buildings and hotels go straight from 12 to 14. There are 13 lunar and menstrual cycles in a calendar year; the moon travels 131 degrees in the sky every 24 hours. Physically, emotionally and intuitively, women are linked to the moon.

To the patriarchal mindset the number 13 represented femininity. Just as any new age tries to differentiate itself from past eras, considering the number 13 unlucky can been seen as part of the patriarchal suppression of the lunar calendar in favor of the solar cycle. Time to change that belief as we move forward. As we see the values of the Sacred Feminine begin to influence American society, we celebrate society finding ways of leveling the playing field of all members of our human family as an example to all — same sex marriage is becoming accepted by a majority of people, more women are being voted into office, we are starting to look at the utter stupidity of allowing the public access to assault weapons and their murderous clips. The majority of Americans are beginning to realize that women are autonomous beings and need to be in charge of decisions about their own bodies. Climate change, eradicating pollution, finding alternatives to nuclear energy— it seems everything is entering our field of awareness, begging for solutions that will benefit ourselves, our planet and the generations that are yet to come.

Just as I welcome 2013 and the new age, I welcome your comments on ways in which you see evidence of the rise of the Sacred Feminine in our journey to conscious evolution. by

BRA, CANCER & HEELS

What man who respects his 'balls' would clamp them up in tight jeans? It defies logic, and moves against the goal of common sense and the traditional respect of high masculinity held by a man. - Gregory E. Woods

Scientists warn that tight, trendy jeans cause 'testicular torsion' (twisted balls) by: PF Louis

(NaturalNews) Fashion statements that are unhealthy are nothing new in this modern world. The controversy over bras linked to breast cancer is supported by the fact that they do impede breast lymph flow, which is needed for draining toxins from tissues.

Tattoo inks contain a myriad of heavy metals. Red tattoo inks often contain mercury, and tattoos pierce the skin leaving the ink permanently embedded. Seems like a foolish way to make a fashion statement to this author, even while living in one of the top tattooed cities in the USA, Austin, TX.

dark mystery of a woman

Then there are high heels that women somehow manage to dance with and even navigate while walking on cobblestone pavement. Sexually appealing to most men, they have to cause problems for gals, and they do.

Injuries from falls, twisted ankles, bunions or malformed toes, even poor posture from adjusting to wearing heels are fairly common for women who wear heels often.

One-upping the bra controversy, breast enlargement implanting is one of the top contenders for first prize as the modern world's most obvious fashion statement health hazard.

The lawsuits were flying with claims of breast cancer and other auto-immune diseases linked to synthetic breast implants in the USA during the 1980s and 90s. The claims were against the principal manufacturer of silicone breast implants, Dow Corning.

They all lead to a multi-billion dollar class action settlement from that company, which had to declare bankruptcy immediately after. Their bankruptcy protection ended in 2004. Looks like Dow should have stuck with selling their silicone products for industrial or mechanical applications.

The latest fashion statement might take the lead as the most unhealthy. But this one is exclusively a guy thing. Wearing excessively tight jeans known as skinny jeans has caught on big among young men in the UK.

Cowgirl holding her breasts.

Skinny jean health consequences
They have been discovered to cause bladder problems and testicular torsion. In this case, the jeans you're wearing "have you by the balls" mate.

A study of 2000 British men found one in 10 men wearing skinny jeans incurred testicular torsion from skinny jeans. Others complained of bladder problems or urinary infections causing some to slack off skinny jean use and avoid permanent bladder damage.

The testicular malady is created by the tight jeans' constricting free movement of the spermatic cord, which then gets twisted, creating testicular torsion. This cuts off blood the supply and can lead to gangrene.

While a direct connection to tight clothing and low sperm counts has not been researched, it has been noted that sperm counts tend to be higher among men who wear boxer shorts for underwear instead of those tight fitting briefs.

Here's a potential win-win for the bad guys
(Twisted sarcasm warning) The eugenics bunch can use this by promoting skinny jeans via mainstream news and the entertainment media along with the clothing industry. Posters featuring Bill Gates in skinny jeans can be widely distributed.

Then the Gates Foundation can enlist Big Pharma to create an anti-testicular torsion vaccine, which will be worthless and dangerous as usual, to counter the emerging skinny jeans health scares.

Men will want to make sure they're in with the latest fashion fad. So they'll get vaccinated with three booster shots, all endangering their health, their DNA, and their lives, while their sperm counts continue descending from twisted spermatic cords in their testicles to ensure infertility.

This can be yet another way to slyly depopulate in plain sight while keeping those still around unhealthy and in need of pharmaceuticals. The Medical Mafia will continue enjoying their large revenues as the death counts start exceeding the newborn rates.

Hi Derek, Love the image. For your information: Cacique (Spanish: [kaˈθike, kaˈsike]; Portuguese: [kɐˈsikɨ, kaˈsiki]; feminine form: cacica. - John Ayès

"Indigenous Taina" pinup portrait of @lareinamunoz (Jessica) from Puerto Rico living in Switzerland.

Jessica wanted a indigenous Taina pinup transformation, something along the lines of one of my older art pieces"Sol de Jayuya" from 2006 with the exception of keeping her original dragon tattoo on her lower back to stay recognizable.

I created her as a beautiful Taina Cacique ( nobel tribal/ chief ) from the enchanted island of Boriken (original name for Puerto Rico) kneeling in a palm forest, beautifully adorning your body from natural red pigment from spiky annatto seeds of the Achiote trees in Caribbean. You can see a bushel of the annatto seeds besides her with traditional pottery where they are crushed to produce the red color with her fingertips dripping from the body paint. Note the open seeds used to be crushed. It was thought the more the tattoos and adornment worn, the closer one was to God.

She is also a warrior, symbolized by the weapon laying next her called a "Macana" a wooden club that had sharp stones embedded on the edges of it used to for hunting as well as combat from the neighboring Caribs.

Lastly I created a custom Taino tattoo on her back based on the spiritual concepts called Zemi's, which were symbolic deities and ancestral spirits to help connect to the cosmic realm honoring their ancestors sometimes in the shape of smiling skulls with large eyes. They also believed that their ancestors would visit the island from the afterworld called Coaybay at night in the form of bats and owls, hence the bat wing shape of the overall tattoo. I also included a "Jayuya" sun petroglyph symbol on her loin cloth as well as an additional Zemi charm around her anklet. -Santiago Pin-ups

The Thoughts Travel Everywhere

"The cure for anything is saltwater - sweat, tears or the sea." - Isak Dinesen

To myself I am only a child playing on the beach, while vast oceans of truth lie undiscovered before me. - Isaac Newton

ART by Diane Leonard

My thoughts turn to something I read once, something the Zen Buddhists believe. They say that an oak tree is brought into creation by two forces at the same time. Obviously, there is the acorn from which it all begins, the seed which holds all the promise and potential, which grows into the tree. Everybody can see that. But only a few can recognize that there is another force operating here as well – the future tree itself, which wants so badly to exist that it pulls the acorn into being, drawing the seedling forth with longing out of the void, guiding the evolution from nothingness to maturity. In this respect, say the Zens, it is the oak tree that creates the very acorn from which it was born.

I think about the woman I have become lately, about the life that I am now living, and about how much I always wanted to be this person and live this life, liberated from the farce of pretending to be anyone other than myself. I think of everything I endured before getting here and wonder if it was me – I mean, this happy and balanced me, who is now dozing on the deck of this small Indonesian fishing boat – who pulled the other, younger, more confused and more struggling me forward during all those hard years. The younger me was the acorn full of potential, but it was the older me, the already-existent oak, who was saying the whole time:”Yes – grow! Change! Evolve! Come and meet me here, where I already exist in wholeness and maturity! I need you to grow into me!”

And maybe it was this present and fully actualized me who was hovering four years ago over that young married sobbing girl on the bath room floor, and maybe it was this me who whispered lovingly into that desperate girl’s ear,”Go back to bed, Liz…” Knowing already that everything would be OK, that everything would eventually bring us together here. Right here in this moment. Where I was always waiting in peace and contentment, always waiting for her to arrive and join me.”
