"The honor of the people lies in the mocassin tracks of the woman. Walk the good road....Be dutiful, respectful, gentle and modest my daughter...Be strong with the warm strong heart of the earth. No people goes down until their women are weak and dishonored, or dead upon the ground. Be strong and sing the strength of the Great Powers within you, all around you. -Village Wise Man, SIOUX

IN THE GENESIS OF MY MANHOOD

W O R D S

It is, and has always been care that attracts me to a woman. Without it the first hello did not happen. A heart song would not have developed between the friends, and the women who've become my sisters. I would not have the doctors I have now, and the women close to me would not be close had it not been the care they embodied, and exuded. There are other things, but the care in a woman's hands wafts over me the way wings dance above where the bird intends to land. As slow as hands can move they can vibrate from the speed of a hush to the speed of the Hummingbird's wings. It has always fascinated me how care manifests. Women's care has saved the health and well-being of many a person I was aiming to hurt for good, and I thought, a just cause.

Early in my first marriage Renee and I knew very little about money, taxes, credit and creditors. It was daunting for me forging my way as a 'new' head of household. I frequently woke up in terror envisioning my failure and what it would feel like to be homeless with a wife and children. I didn't have the skill set that attracted large salaries to me. It seemed I was out of place for the times and the area I lived in so I stuck to what provided me with the essentials in life.

I got intangible gifts at my bachelor party. To this day men never associate me, or invite me to party with strippers so I don't get invited to bachelor parties. At my party I received a Bible and sage advise. Larry Fitzgerald, our saxophonist, showed me his pay check. I was stunned at the amount. $40,000! He showed me his bills, and I shuddered. He was paying more out than was coming into his household. He looked in my eyes in his way of speaking, which was always tinged with humor to say, "Don't ever get a credit card. Buy with cash."

A few years of wise spending, and cash transactions we were renting a nice townhouse. We'd never missed a meal, and no one went naked. Our furniture was bought from Budget Furniture, which was owned by Chief Billy Tayac of the Piscataway nation on Suitland Road in Suitland, Maryland across from the US Census building. His family had built rapport with the surrounding communities and many struggling Blacks, poor whites, and later Hispanic families got their first credit starts, and their house furniture from Chief Billy Tayac and his son, Mark.

Eventually, we got an American Express card. I used it sparingly paying up in full within the first 30 days. We got the card when a financial adviser commended us on our monetary discipline pointing out how little of our income was in the red. But, he chided us, no he ridiculed our insistence to not get caught trapped in the credit game. He was a harsh man, and the name creditors gave to people like Renee, and I stung. This system holds in disdain anyone who disciplines themselves financially without going into the credit game. There was non-complimentary name for us. That hurt, and then it angered me.

Certain weekends we'd rent a car and purchase whatever we needed, and afterwards I'd gas up my rental, and lose myself in the back roads of Maryland. With the windows wide open and the wind blowing through  I'd speed and explore until sunset. It was exhilarating. One day I miscalculated and found myself in credit card debit. Then the devil came.

I hated every moment of that ordeal. It came to a head when I came home one afternoon, and my wife was devastated and in tears because the man calling us about our debt had said things to her that crushed and humiliated her. Over money? I didn't fight for or over money. I still don't, but that was the last straw. I told her to put me on the phone when he called again and that call came quickly. The brother was enjoying his role. We had words, and I filled with dark rage. I told him I was coming after him. He scoffed at the notion and said more of the wrong words.

When I hung up I put my right fist through the glass of my bookcase. I didn't bother to dress the wounds. I set out walking the distance through the woods to the subway station, rode the train to Silver Spring, Maryland, got out and walked a short distance to an anonymous building, took an elevator to their secret location, walked in the office, and a woman asked, "How can I help you."

"I am looking for Mr._ !"

The Black man behind her with a handful of papers turned from the copier and started to extend a greeting, but froze in terror and surprise when I said, "I am Mr. Woods."

He glanced at my bloody hand. I went over the counter for him. He ran with a high pitched sound of terror in his voice. Right behind him I was silent, relentless and full of dark menace. I was hunting and had found my prey. Nothing was going to save him until a woman stepped between me and the fleeing man.

"How can I help you, sir?"

I looked up the length of an unbelievably fine Black woman's body and into the landscape of her eyes, and the beast within me shivered, and began to snort a bit, and rest itself. I couldn't believe her presence and how calm and beautiful she was. Her composure did not shed at the sound of my angry voice. Instead she looked at my right hand and said, "Oh, you hurt yourself. You're bleeding." She held my hand gently and led me into the men's bathroom, and washed my hand carefully in a studied silence. The blood, now dried, moistened in the water and left trails of blood and dirt down the slope of the bowl as she carefully picked glass out of my hand. Her soft voice got my story out. My voice had lost its menace so gentle was her touch, and so aroused I was by her command, her sensuous nature, her touch that the danger within her  halted the danger within me.

Back in her office she sat at her desk and crossed her legs my direction. I lost my breath, and almost fainted  looking at her legs. They were smooth, brown, and suggested an impeccability I'd not noticed until seated facing her. I was done.

"I was no more good." as Black Southerners often say.

There was no more fight left in me. I became compliant and agreed with everything she suggested. I believed then, and I do understood she knew exactly what she was doing to me. How to distract and tame the savage beast was her art. Her form was the compelling assemblage point for me that aroused, caressed  understood, held me, and made me safe from the dangerous and fierce beast within me.

An amicable arrangement was made that simplified paying American Express off, and she encouraged me not to continue with the company. She had bought our debt, she revealed. She gave me a brief tutorial on the insidious nature of the credit system, and assured me she'd take care of her employee.

"You will never hear from him again." she said.

She, as was my wife, and the others who heard this story at the time didn't understand how I knew the location of that office. I never told how I did it because the moment the words hunter came into my mouth people's faces blanked out. Not everything is for everybody. The prey has a scent and leaves an impression.

Famous Mothers

famous moms
One Minute Section

"Famous mothers are distinguished from other mothers by their fame, and how they achieved it. Fame is such a trite expression of individuality, and a fickle aspiration, but in the life of a spiritual person, someone aware of the levels of existence fame is a tool." - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories 4.10.13

Manhood & the GODDESS

"Short & fine is divine" is street jargon that reflects the truth in a way often couched in vulgarity and lust, but  it means something altogether different within integrity and honesty. - Gregory E. Woods 3.22.13
"Manhood needs to re-visited. Recent times have given American women the freedom to expose themselves, and in so doing expose vulnerabilities and insecurities in ways previously well hidden. Opportunities that war grants a man to lord over women come into play during peaceful times in a democratic society with laws and law enforcement. As evidenced by actions the spirit of men that cannot control their emotions, their spirits is the danger to the freedoms women are enjoying or shying from!" - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories 3.22.13

TRANSFORMERS

absolute beauty of a naked brown woman

Assemblage points of power are in the obvious places unobvious to the blind, the dull and the crude. It is the uninitiated who misunderstands the Biblical teachings about Pussy and the powers of the Womb from whence he comes, and the Pussy he seeks out for refuge and strength. - Gregory E. Woods

"The balance point of temptation comes together at the central point of four directions. They are within the will, the dream of desires, the belief of a person, and the strength and weakness of the spiritual mindset. It takes a man to teach another man to be a man in the deepest sense of the word, and it takes a man in the deepest sense of the words of power to teach a boy to become a man in the deepest sense of the meanings of manhood and masculinity."

BUILDING LIFE

Marisol Torres smiling on May 31, 2013

"The sheer joy of youth, and discovery at young age becomes the impetus of invention, and the fire of innovation, or a stale memory if dreams are not further pursued. Old age is built by one's youthful energies, the dreams made manifest, and the impeccability of soul and action." - Dawn Wolf, Keeper of Stories 7.26.13

Assemblage Point of...

Miss Intense

April 18, 2013

What could the water element's surges of power feel like against the thoughts, and the frailness of  a woman's body surfing skillfully along the crest of what she cannot control? Her only control has to be within where she breaths and envisions. That has got to be an indescribable feeling!

Is it humbling, thoughtful and exhilarating at the same time? What could that possibly feel like? Is the presence of the water personified, in that moment, by the stories told to us in our childhood, or does one grow into the stories the water tells us of its life, glories and mysterious powers?

For women, so intimately connected to the water, the rhythms of tide and Moon are they in a state slightly, or obviously different from men? I don't know the answers to any of the questions. They, the answers, have always floated away from me into the oceans I've talked to where I hear the voices of my African ancestors' questioning the fate of their lives. - Gregory E. QUESTION TO LIVE

She has found her assemblage point and is able to leap into the air above a valley far below from one high mountain to another, or she has abandoned herself to the idea that a brief, and swift moment of untangled freedom before splattering on the valley floor below is better than the shit she had to put up with all her life! - Gregory E. Assemblage Points

Jaclyn Swedberg
2012 Playmate of the Year

Assemblage points of power are engaged in various places within and without the body. How they are utilized is dependent upon the user, the person.

I was awakened by a speaker on television this morning. I normally don't listen to preachers anymore, but there was something engrossing about his presence. He seemed to be sitting in the room talking to me kindly, forcibly and intelligently captivating my life choices with brutal honesty. There is one weakness within my strength I won't speak about for any reason, but it is good to recognize its existence. Weaknesses like strengths are forces of darkness, and forces of Nature.

The pastor's name was Mike Murdock. I'd never heard of him, but I was well acquainted with the plaintive voice of Southern preachers that has been the bane of the Black Church, for reasons many don't comprehend. This man had something different within him. I heard him say he'd spent his early years in a discipline learning, re-reading, studying and eventually, under tutelage, memorized the entire Bible. He said his entire life, his thinking process, and his home are charged with continually learning. His Kindle held 500 books.

"I travel with this." he declared holding up affectionately to the camera and the audience.

As I pulled myself up from the comfort beneath my favorite thick blanket I heard him talk of his early life, but his words, "Wisdom is the study of differences." riveted me. His storytelling weaved magically from a tight constraint into open loops from story to teaching, and antedotes  and humor. He spoke of seven (7) laws. I only got four (4) because that annoying Emergency Broadcast Alert went interrupted the programming.

  1. Law of difference (what is our difference?)
  2. Law of the Mind - success starts in the mind: the mind needs focus. The mind needs instructions to better serve you, and the mind needs a hero. It needs an example to follow, and the mind needs pictures, meditation.
  3. Law of recognition (everything you want is near you.)
  4. Law of the Seed. He said, "Problems are seeds of success. When talking with anyone you need to listen for four (4) things: pain, information, the sound of honor, and desires... You have no value until you solve a problem." he said, "Something in my hand is controlling my future."
He also felt that Psalms 119 was the most important chapter in the Bible. He recommended Psalms 91 and Psalms 37 (two of my favorites) as must reads. He spoke of the promise of Isaiah 58 and Ephesians 6.

Two of the other important things he said I will leave you with:.

"If I keep what I've got that's the most it'll ever be, but if I sow it it's the least it'll ever be."

"Delayed obedience is rebellion."

AWAKEN SHE

Anayalisa LOVE is...

Awaken she the primal Goddess within... the hunter, the keeper, the protector. Her instincts crystallized  She see's right through you. The serpent arises, moves infinite energy, her thirst for shifts of change, the mother of the forest...grounding her every move into the belly of spirit mother. Slowly looks to her right and to her left she walks straight into the unknown. Conscious and aware of her surroundings...she bleeds YES...leaving traces of her path. Who will follow. She leads you into the core of your primal breath...silence fills the forest...She releases aloud, claiming her right of the Wild Animal within...I AM SHE... -Anayalisa Love

AU NATURAL

My color is Ghost.....No make up. No weaves. No Lies. One of most trusted beings God has created. People like me are needed to balance the universe 360 degrees; 180 degrees negative, and 180 degrees positive. Everybody is not bad, or has ulterior motives... I am me take it, or leave it. If I have to be fake I'd rather be alone.
- Starmarie Sugarplum Jones

My chart reading July 22, 2011:

You want to be of service to the world. Your deepest sat
isfaction comes from knowing that you have advanced the cause of humanity.

Your ideals are of the highest order. You are a perfectionist. You strive to make the world a utopia; to make each person's lot in life better; to become perfect yourself. One of your challenges in life is to strive toward your lofty goals and at the same time recognize the good you are doing.

You like and are fascinated by people from all walks of life. Human nature is a lifelong study for you. You are highly intuitive, but not an especially good judge of character. You are a bit naive, as well, thinking perhaps that all people have the same values as you.

You dream of having the resources to immediately relieve the suffering of others, whether it is economic, physical, or psychological.

You are gifted with a good mind and a great deal of wisdom, which makes you a natural teacher, counselor, or healer.

As much as you desire to be of service to others, you also crave fame and the approval of the masses. Much of the energy you expend in life is directed toward putting yourself before an audience, most often as a salesperson whose product provides some social good; as a philanthropist; or an artist.

You are attracted to the arts as a vocation, especially as an actor, photographer, or writer. But whatever your profession, any involvement in the arts, even as a hobby, will provide you with a deep and lasting satisfaction.

Secretly, you dream of having a big impact on the world. Others may see this as egotism, especially when you are still young. But your concern for others is genuine. You must apply yourself in this direction in order to become psychologically whole and personally satisfied.

Your vision is on the crowds of people, which can cause you to overlook the needs of those closest to you. You need personal love as well, but have a tendency to put your needs in the background. Still, you are a loving person, and only need to be reminded to direct and demonstrate that love to those nearby. If, however, you are focused exclusively on the masses, people will perceive you as distant and a bit aloof.

You are emotional, and sensitive. You can also be moody and critical. You have high expectations for yourself and others. This can cause you much anger when your expectations are unfulfilled. One of your most important life lessons is to forgive.

Because you are striving hard to attain high ideals, you may think of yourself as superior to others. Arrogance is a trap many 9s fall into. The danger is that arrogance cuts you off from the thing you love the most: people.

Your happiness and contentment are therefore highly dependant on the ease with which you are able to serve and influence mankind.

It is the paradox of your Heart's Desire that you receive by giving. Both your material success and spiritual satisfaction are made possible through service and sacrifice to others.....please go to this website www.annuhassa.com

The Centre of the Wheel

Moving the Assemblage Point
with Leo Rutherford, Howard G. Charing & Dawn Russell

The Level of Energy of all beings depends on three fundamental factors;
· The amount of energy with which they were conceived,
· The manner in which the energy has been utilised since birth,
· And the way in which it is being used at the present time.
Carlos Castaneda

There is a teaching that 80% of our energy is locked into habit, rigid patterns from generational & social conditioning and our personal history. The remaining 20% constitutes our true free will. The great teaching of the Medicine Wheel is to light a path to guide us towards release of these rigid habit patterns and addictions which, when unlocked, generates a reservoir of energy which can be used cognitively and with conscious intent. This is true free will and freedom - no longer living parental and cultural dreams but truly living our own.

The ultimate purpose of this body of practices is freedom. Freedom has powerful implications. Among these is that people must purposely seek and embrace change. It is no easy task to embrace change and thereby unlock the rigid structures which we have inherited, but we have innate magical qualities within ourselves to help us on the path to freedom.

In heightened awareness there is no objective world, but a universe consisting of flowing fields of energy where there is no subjective linear time. The particular alignment that we perceive as ‘the world’ is a product of ourselves. This alignment is within our own personal field of energy is called the ‘Assemblage Point’. On this course we work with the non-cardinal directions of the Medicine Wheel, the ‘movers and changers’.

The first movement, we begin the course at the South East, at our very beginning on the Earth, our conception and womb time when we have already started to absorb generational patterns, and emotional responses. By increasing our knowledge of what these are, we gain the ability to release and start the realignment of our assemblage point and thereby our terms of reference to the world. This part will include an overnight burial ceremony.

The second movement, is to the Southwest to examine our ‘Dream of Life’ - that which our soul has brought us into incarnation to experience and learn from. The objective is to ‘see’ this dream and apply our focussed will and intent to recreate and update this dream to one that meets with our soul’s needs now.

This is literally a step on the road to reinventing our-Self. The focus of this meeting will be the Circle of Mirrors ceremony which we have experienced as part of the South course. This time we will revisit this powerful ceremony from a whole different perspective. Includes the moving of the Assemblage Point with the aid of a crystal

The Third movement, is to the Northwest to look at pattern vs freewill (change and chaos) in our lives, to seek to strengthen our will to challenge patterns, habits and especially addictions. Ceremonies will include Trance-Dance, Trance postures and other pattern awareness shaking activities. This part may well be seriously challenging and is likely to involve some home-projects of a possibly challenging nature!

The fourth movement, is to the northeast and is about looking at the design and choreography of our lives and how we make our choices - and therefore how to actively make new and freer choices with consciousness and will. In a nutshell, to shift the assemblage point thus enabling seeing the world from other perspectives from which choices for freedom can more naturally be made.

This can shake up lives and worlds and assist greatly in the quest for ultimate freedom. Subtle energy dreaming exercises, painting, creating images, communing with nature energies will be part of this movement.

In the final meeting we will each sit in the Centre Of Our Wheel Of Life and face the directions our lives have taken us that have brought us here and the directions we now choose for our life to take us. The ultimate object of the course is to shift from being a person governed by the cross of the four cardinal directions to a person living in flowing movement and change in touch with and guided by the powers of the four non-cardinals - the movers and shakers.
