a Facebook dilemna

What man would not be stunned and taken aback by a beautiful woman interested in talking to him? What is puzzling is the developing culture in cyberspace. Beautiful and available women are making themselves 'appear' to be accessible, but it is illusion, all illusion. They are images on a screen pulled together into a person's imagination the way our Creator designed within us. So, what am I saying to other men hems alongside the logic of decency and order in the context of who we are as sexual beings.

Online, women are 'friending' men they don't know out of the blue. They have nothing in their profiles. They have at most two pictures of themselves revealing their large breasts or their body scantly clad in slithers of cloth coiled around the wide hips, if they have them, through and between thighs to connect behind. Lust is the intended reaction and one after another men 'friend' them and then nothing. There is no contact, just the same picture.

A man can draw any number of scenarios in his mind if his 'dick' is his thought process. But being a  whole man is a process of development at each level of masculinity and each degree of manhood developing towards powers for each aspect of our essence dependent upon right relationship with the feminine energies. Online, the calibre of men I associate with assume these sites are decoy traps set up by law enforcement to catch predators. How it works I don't know.

20TH PRACTICE: Let us see

One of the deeper things I learned becoming a Sirmiq Aattuq Wisdom Keeper is simply stated, but important to learn. For some the degree of difficulty disciplining one's self to read, or hear this mirrors how difficult it will be to internalize the three steps and do the work necessary. For me I was fresh into dealing with my physical heart. It had changed after I'd been struck by lightning, and in the following years the center piece of my healing process was not the steady rhythm I was use to. Forced with a new reality I needed the association of healers who understood to listen and help me where I couldn't. This is where I want to stop and show you something small, but significant.

First, learn to breath and slow the heart. Second, see the heart as a friend, a brother, not as an enemy. Embrace it. And thirdly, even in the face of death you must breath and see the present. Unfortunate because credit for talent, work and contribution to the better good is important to give to creators. I want to add my voice in support of Muslims in our community and around the world.
After the Paris attacks and hate this week, I can only imagine the fear Muslims feel that they will be persecuted for the actions of others.

It is incredible how many 'like' this picture, and how few speak their thoughts on the image. 4,555 people + one. I am going to 'like' it when I finish talking about the picture. 

The image of the beautiful white woman leaning on the muscle car in the year of its make is part of the complex stories of the time that looks good on film, and print, and and feels good in song and boast! So much in this one picture points to the present, and where we are now culturally, politically and financially as a nation. Many attitudes and reactions to World War II and I  hidden in this image led to the current challenges on the national front, and much of those roots are buried in this image. 

If anyone is a global citizen this is not foreign news. It is the American story we live, and others react to that is captured here. Well, that is one thing. That is a good observation. My mother considered getting on Facebook. She weighed the options but thought there was little to gain in cyberspace. It may be faster obtaining information, but amassing information for the sake of amassing information was meaningless if knowledge led one nowhere. I advised Mommy on the subject. My advise was aligned with what she instilled in her children.

"Whatever you do in cyberspace let it be what you do in the real world!"

The spiritual world has its commandments and rules as well as an Earth Walk. Cyberspace is from our imagination, in one sense, in the air where Satan was banned according to the Hebrew creation story. An old woman told me that explaining why and how she remained in control of her faculties using the computer in her old age. My mother never played with Facebook. I am glad she didn't because Facebook doesn't adhere to the rules of the Air in a sacred manner and neither do millions of others understand the element: Air. - Gregory E. I had my moment recently when Facebook shut me down. Apparently one person pointed me out as abusive. I'd written two thoughtful pieces probing the the legitimacy of the claim that Bruce Jenner was a woman, and if women claimed him to be one how much degradation to their essence and their wombs will women take? It was an introspective. The other thing is even more complex. About nine posts from an old photo gallery of mine on the sacredness of women and the womb were deemed offensive! 

I am fully aware of the intense power of the Gay activist's movement, and the sheer weight of its intimidation techniques. Basically, bullying. That placed against the fear U.S. citizens carry like sheep easily led here and there outside of diatribes the average person is held captive in a strange paralyzing fear that asks little, protects no innocent, and no child. In that vacuum I posed questions public forums do not ask! 

That is a long way of blowing off steam, but the second thing about the Gestapo system of governing Facebook uses is their inability or unwillingness to look at any side of a complaint save the complainant. It makes them look weak, pitiful and unskilled in customer service. But, as a large corporation why should they care as long as they look socially responsible? 

The third thing. Facebook is determining whether Native Americans' names are 'Indian enough'! If not, in their estimation, they threaten them, or in the end take their page down. So far, they have not approached me, but no matter how many of us are bullied thus we have our responsibilities in worlds that matter...

Timothy, I have been thinking about your presence online and of the same things about Facebook of late. I am pondering setting Facebook aside. I had my moment recently when Facebook shut me down. Let me be clear.. Just because you are on my friends list doesn't mean I agree with you...so don't tag me like you know me when you don't. FYI I don't do fear or hate. I don't care to be a part of the next big movement or follow king nothing or reverend yesterday. I don't follow victim mentality pontiffs who leave you in a never ending never satisfied cycle of blame without taking responsibility for your life. 

I am not a food Nazi, nor do I believe someone is spiritually deficient because they had a BLT sandwich or spiritually elevated because someone is a raw foodist. I don't believe that just because you have a certain name, wear certain clothes, live in a certain neighborhood, have a certain economic status, wear your hair a certain way, or have certain genital organs, that it suddenly makes you qualified to lead the world... 

Try bringing your own house in order because for me Character and integrity first. I don't believe that in order for me to love myself as an African descendant, and woman I have to hate anyone else. I don't give a rat's ass about who is having sex with whom. I don't confuse political movements for spiritual ones. I don't believe one religion or path has all of the answers for everyone. 

I support wholeness, healing , divine love and elevation...along with some occasional good humored jokes. There’s this great Andy Warhol quote you’ve probably seen before: “I think everybody should like everybody.” You can buy posters and plates with pictures of Warhol, looking like the cover of a Belle & Sebastian album, with that phrase plastered across his face in Helvetica. But the full quote, taken from a 1963 interview in Art News, is a great description of how we interact on social media today.

The like and the favorite are the new metrics of success — very literally. Not only are they ego-feeders for the stuff we put online as individuals, but advertisers track their campaigns on Facebook by how often they are liked. A recent New York Times story on a krill oil ad campaign lays bare how much the like matters to advertisers. Liking is an economic act.

I like everything. Or at least I did, for 48 hours. Literally everything Facebook sent my way, I liked — even if I hated it. I decided to embark on a campaign of conscious liking, to see how it would affect what Facebook showed me. I know this sounds like a stunt (and it was) but it was also genuinely just an open-ended experiment. I wasn’t sure how long I’d keep it up (48 hours was all I could stand) or what I’d learn (possibly nothing.)

Interesting perspective, but it is not taking into account how much of ones' being was engaged in each other in those old days, and how important it is to leave traces of one's life for historians, and archaeologists in the future. Intelligent thought, introspection, and calm reflection should lead and follow technological advancements. There are many things to consider with each progression. Sadly, our system of education, and our emotional and spiritual development do not accompany the new tools, or toys.

A pregnant actress, Jennifer Love Hewitt out with a friend grabbed lunch at La Scala after doing some shopping in Beverly Hills, California last year (Jul 17, 2013). She was pregnant expecting her first child with "The Client List' co-star Brian Hallisay wearing a pastel purple and white shirt dress that must've flowed or seemed to float around her body creating a breathtaking event!

The picture is engaging and memorable, but being followed and photographed constantly has to harass the senses. It creates a lot of money throughout the entertainment food chain, but what it feels like most of us will never know. What we will be able to tell our grandchildren is how we allowed public spying to become part of our daily life. As if privacy didn't matter, and freedom didn't matter as much as the convenience of the toys we purchased we will have the daunting task of explaining how easy it was to be oblivious to the loss of freedoms and assumptions of freedom to our grandchildren. It won't be easy by any stretch of the imagination. I imagine a lot of denial will occur in many a living room a couple of decades from now, but the contrary proof will be on YouTube, and Facebook.

Living in our city I can see why it's easy for people to become depressed and jaded just by watching our nightly news alone!
