Nice Tail
Gina Ostarly playing tailback October 30, 2010 · |
Tailback
The tailback position is one of the more glamorous positions on the field, as it is often integral in both the passing and running attack. A well-rounded TB is commonly viewed as a requirement for a team's success. He is responsible for carrying the ball on the majority of running plays, and may frequently be used as a receiver on short passing plays. In today's game, an effective halfback must have a superior blend of both quickness and agility as a runner, as well as sure hands and shrewd vision up field as a receiver. - Gina Ostarly, fitness coach (Oct. 30, 2010)

A FIRST: Misty Copeland
Misty Copeland is the first African-American to be the principal dancer for the American Ballet Company. |
Speaking thoughtfully traditionally amongst Blacks in the U.S. has long been a source of pride for the race. Good diction, education, poise, manners and truth telling are measurements Black people took pride in when the best and the average got in front of the nation, in front of white people. The alleigance to the ghetto is a recent development. Not being elegant as a woman in public was taught more often than not by example, and in the church and insisted upon in neighborhoods rich and poor by Colored folk. This changed with the crack epidemic. Misty Copeland is not a throwback to that era, that practice. She is the example Black Americans come from.

A Mystery Teaching Us
God's Power Is Greater Than Your Problem
Rev. Dr. Sinclair Grey III
God can make anything that appears impossible a reality. In other words, what may not make sense to you or seem logical in your sight isn't a problem for Almighty God. I need to say that again. With God, all things are possible because nothing is bigger than God and nothing is too difficult for our God to handle. All you have to do is be obedient to His will and trust Him without doubting.
The Bible tells us when Abraham and Sarah had surpassed their biological years of having a child that God stepped in and reversed what seemed impossible. How so? Because God promised them a child. As you and I know, when God promises, He delivers. Through God's omnipotence, "The Lord dealt with Sarah as He had said, and the Lord did for Sarah as He had promised. Sarah conceived and bore Abraham a son in his old age, at the time of which God had spoken to him." Please don't miss this. Never doubt God. Never question His love for you. And never think your situation is too difficult for Him.
KNOW THIS:
The lesson of Sarah and Abraham extends into the realms of sexual potency. It is a deep undertaking into the restorative powers of sex, and the resurrection principles sexual energies. It isn't the easiest thing for me to put into English, but being 100 years old Abraham's life force has a significance in its symbolism. I am outside of the lexicon of canon law teaching into the mysticism of thought, action and purpose attempting to explain it. .
First of all we are thinking and thought needs to know it has a beginning. Beyond that where this teaching comes from the archetype within this story is the unthinkable life-death, abstract principle of all that is and all that is not. This the where the beat and the pulse of life-death-resurrection is projected into temporal continuity. This is a battle, a struggle not forever going on, but constantly in motion within the life of the body. It lived in Sarah and Abraham as it does in us all.
Sarah and Abraham came together as promised and their sex was born again into a light and a source of everlasting power not because Sarah was an extraordinary lover, but she and her husband were recipients of particular power(s). Abraham in covenant relationship with his death, and Sarah deeply embroiled in the mysterious aspect of blood and water exalted the principle of life-death beyond the simple understanding of 'in the beginning' tied themselves together and every aspect of Creation acted through their projection against itself and became cosmically deathless.
They destroyed illusion. - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories 11.18.13

It is fundamentally important to talk about pussy in relationship to men who are creators, warriors, ministers, spiritual leaders, and those carrying a living vision the Creator gave to them. The poet Kahlil Gibran almost a hundred years ago wrote, "The most highly sexed beings upon the planet are the creators, the poets, sculptors, painters, musicians... and so it has been from the beginning. And among them sex is a beautiful and exalted gift. Sex is always beautiful, and it is always holy."
These words are necessary in its repetition because the loudest and most insistent voice is the moral code of the Puritan in the Western worldview. It runs roughshod over many people's lives, and contradicts, at times, the tendency and need to engage one's sexual energies with another when it is important to restore the life force. Codes of conduct are necessary for the warrior's shield, and they are guide posts in society. To get along with people there are social constraints to respect, and social groups need to know boundaries as much as individuals do.
After a gun battle, or any violent confrontation the people who are protecting life and community and even the predator, or invading soldier needs release into the realms beyond where they've emerged scared, but safe for now. Blood battles and the threats of violent deaths takes pieces out of the soul replacing it with terror a warrior does not care to admit he has, but between the right woman's legs his soul will release into the balm of her pussy upward, and into the sanctuary of her spirit, and the confidentiality of her heart. If women cannot send their men properly to battle the least, and the best thing is to receive everything from him and mend his brokenness when he returns, and heal at the soul level the way no one else can. The One Woman is the soul of Life and the voice of the Goddess echoes where she lives: in the pussy. This is a sacred place and the sharing of this knowledge is fundamentally a spirit guide to the higher self of every warrior that hides itself behind a man's machismo. - Gregory E. SACRED MOMENTS
In a world filled with too many bodies but too little
minds
In our race to beat the next deadline...
Do you ever notice those tiny moments:
When you catch a glimpse of our being
Like the little smile from that old woman when you
buy her ware without bargaining.
Like the fleeting moment of recognition when you
lock eyes with a stranger.
Like the flutter in your heart any time you hear that
song.
Like the tears that clouds your eyes whenever you see an act of
kindness in movie.
Like the grin that spreads across your face when you
hit that ‘Like’ button because you relate to this
poem.
It is amazing to realize how much our seemingly little
acts reverberates across the universe.

Here are 10 things for you to give up, starting today:
1. Give up excuses. Excuses? Many of us are guilty of using excuses on an almost daily basis; using them as a way to feel ‘safe’. Let them go.
2. Give up the blame game. Give up the need to blame others for how you are or are not feeling, for what your life is or is not. Do this and reclaim your power as sole creator of your life.
3. Give up complaining. It’s all about perspective; the power of positive thinking is something you should never underestimate.
4. Give up your need to be right. Yes, nobody likes to be wrong – this is an unfortunate trait of the ‘ego’ – a trait that can drive people to undergo extreme stress and even jeopardize their relationships. All for the sake of saying ‘I told you so!’ It’s just not worth it. So give it up.
5. Give up your need for control. The moment you stop trying to control everything in your life, could be the moment it all comes together – promise.
6. Give up limiting beliefs. Who are you to say what is or is not possible? You are an unlimited being, you make the rules – so make them BIG!
7. Give up labels. Do you sometimes label the things, people or experiences you don’t understand as ‘weird’ or ‘bad’? If so, it’s about time you gave up labels.
8. Give up the need to please. You have one life only; why not live it as you? Give up your need to please everyone.
9. Give up fear. As Franklin D. Roosevelt once said, ‘The only thing we have to fear, is fear itself. So give it up. Stop letting fear keep you small when you’re capable of such big, miraculous things.
10. Give up the past. Easier said than done – but giving up the past can do wonders for both your present and future happiness. Be in the moment. Be happy. Give up the past and give in to the now.

Parable of the Ten Virgins
Narrative
In the Parable of the Ten Virgins, Jesus tells a story about a party of virgins, perhaps bridesmaids[2] or torchbearers for a procession,[3] chosen to participate in a wedding. Each of the ten virgins is carrying a lamp or torch[3] as they await the coming of the bridegroom, which they expect at some time during the night. Five of the virgins are wise and have brought oil for their lamps. Five are foolish and have only brought their lamps.
At midnight, all the virgins hear the call to come out to meet the bridegroom. Realising their lamps have gone out, the foolish virgins ask the wise ones for oil, but they refuse, saying that there will certainly not (Greek ou mē)[4] be enough for them to share. While the foolish virgins are away trying to get more oil, the bridegroom arrives. The wise virgins then accompany him to the celebration. The others arrive too late and are excluded.

"Then the Kingdom of Heaven will be like ten virgins, who took their lamps, and went out to meet the bridegroom. Five of them were foolish, and five were wise. Those who were foolish, when they took their lamps, took no oil with them, but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. Now while the bridegroom delayed, they all slumbered and slept. But at midnight there was a cry, "Behold! The bridegroom is coming! Come out to meet him!" Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. The foolish said to the wise, "Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out." But the wise answered, saying, "What if there isn't enough for us and you? You go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves." While they went away to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the marriage feast, and the door was shut. Afterward the other virgins also came, saying, "Lord, Lord, open to us." But he answered, "Most certainly I tell you, I don't know you." Watch therefore, for you don't know the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming."— Matthew 25:1-13, World English Bible

Interpretations
The parable is one of a sequence of responses to a question in Matthew 24:3:
Other parables in this sequence include the parable of the budding fig tree (Matthew 24:32–35) and the parable of the Faithful Servant (Matthew 24:42–51). The parable of the Ten Virgins reinforces the call for readiness in the face of the uncertain time of this second "coming."[2] It has been described as a "watching parable."[5] Like the parable of the Lost Coin, it is a parable about women which immediately follows, and makes the same point as, a preceding parable about men.[6]And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?— Matthew 24:3, King James Version
In this parable, Jesus Christ is the bridegroom,[2][5] echoing the Old Testament image of God as the bridegroom in Jeremiah 2:2 and similar passages.[2] The awaited event is the Second Coming of Christ.[2][5] R. T. France writes that the parable is "a warning addressed specifically to those inside the professing church who are not to assume that their future is unconditionally assured."[2]
The parable does not criticise the virgins for sleeping, since both groups do that,[3] but for being unprepared. It is not clear exactly what form this lack of preparation takes: the foolish virgins may have taken insufficient oil or, if they light their lamps or torches for the first time when the bridegroom arrives (having slept through the previous hours of darkness), they may have brought no oil at all[4] (it is also unclear as to whether the foolish virgins succeed in purchasing any oil that night:[7] most shops would not have been open[8][9]).
The parable is not written in praise of virginity,[5] and indeed Louis of Granada, in his The Sinner's Guide of 1555, writes "No one makes intercession with the Bridegroom for the five foolish virgins who, after despising the pleasures of the flesh and stifling in their hearts the fire of concupiscence, nay, after observing the great counsel of virginity, neglected the precept of humility and became inflated with pride on account of their virginity."[10]
Spencer W. Kimball gave an LDS perspective on the difference between the wise and the foolish virgins, and why they could not share the oil: "This was not selfishness or unkindness. The kind of oil that is needed to illuminate the way and light up the darkness is not shareable. How can one share obedience to the principle of tithing; a mind at peace from righteous living; an accumulation of knowledge? How can one share faith or testimony? How can one share attitudes or chastity.... Each must obtain that kind of oil for himself.... In the parable, oil can be purchased at the market. In our lives the oil of preparedness is accumulated drop by drop in righteous living."[11][12]

"As evidenced by the photographer not hired the passage from the hood to a professional career will be difficult in the fashion industry. It is an industry that has made a lot of money from the 'hood and returns only to collect payment from those who pay for the designer clothes inspired by Black women's styles. It is a deeply ingrained pattern between the white world's relationship with Black women that has not changed over the centuries to the level of exchange that is powerful and beneficial for the Black woman.
It is a deep thing to not know one's self and even deeper is the stilled translation of ancestors' voices telling a Black woman one thing and she only hears what someone else has told her."

Sabrina Hunter - Using Urban Modeling to Her Advantage
10/27/11
As many of you know, Sabrina Hunter is a model who is also a successful writer now. She briefly dabbled in urban modeling in 2005 and then returned to the scene to take some exclusive pictorials for my blog. Our photo shoots were a success and she wound up on Media Take Out and many other blogs several times due in part to them (she also would have been in Smooth magazine were it not for a strict no-thongs policy on her part (kudos)). But Sabrina always had a game plan in mind when taking photos. She was doing it to gain notoriety before going public with her novel, Skeletons in the Closet. Her plan worked quite well and illustrates perfectly how urban modeling can be used to a woman's advantage. It is just another tool to focus the public spotlight on an aspiring model. What you do with that spotlight once you get it is up to you. ~ the photographer (?)

Teaching our People
"Live life and share your teachings from your heart. Your story will touch and heal souls it may become missing pieces someone needs or it may be courage for one to open up. Crossing over means getting comfortable being who you are and who your soul really wants to be when it is your time. There is no strain with that. The strain and tension come when we're not being who our soul wants to be and we're someplace where our soul doesn't feel at home." - Jerry RedHawk Straley RedHawk

the Dream of Intimacy
Sacred Dreams
Sexual Intimacy and Its Connection with Aural Energy
“If everything goes well & sex is natural & flowing, it is a beautiful experience because you can have a glimpse of the second through it. If sex goes really very deep, so that you forget yourself completely in it, you can even have a glimpse of third through it. And if the sex becomes a totally orgasmic experience you can even have a glimpse of the fourth, Turiya the beyond through it.” ~ Osho
Sexuality is closely associated to spirituality in many ways. Although the topic of sex arouses a strong reaction and is often viewed as an obstacle on the path of spiritual development due to the wild nature of sexual energy. Sexual energy is the primal and creative energy of the universe, it opens our heart to love, and enable us to experience deep meditative states and mystical bliss.
Many wise traditions consider the peak moment of sexual energy the death of the ego. When somebody experiences intimacy and reaches orgasm, we feel vulnerable, defenseless, carefree and there is a sense of timelessness. These are the characteristics and true nature of our spirit. Living your life with this level of intimacy would allow the creative energy of the universe to merge with your spirit. Wouldn’t that make it important to be aware with who you share this intimacy with?
There is nothing casual about it We have evolved both in terms of our thinking and approach towards life. The freedom to choose a sexual partner without any hesitation has also increased. But there is nothing such as casual or meaningless sex. When we get intimate with anybody we tend to receive their positivity or negativity and unknowingly incorporate it in our everyday lives.
Even if we do not meet the other person ever again, or if we do have a continuous physical intimacy with our partner, each time we get into the act, we receive a part of their energy into our aura and leave a part of ours into theirs. So each time we have sex, we create an energy cord with our partner.
Their thoughts, feelings, desires, etc., are left as impressions in our aura, which unless cleansed, stays with us. If the same is done under the influence of alcohol, we lower our natural protective field, which further exposes us to negative & discordant energies. If we have sex with a positive person, we are bound to receive her/his positivity and vice-a-versa with a negative person.
Jeffery Armstrong in his article, The Ancient Art and Science of Sexual Healing says, “..what could be accomplished by bringing the male and the female body together. The answer to this question is physical, biological, vital, mental, emotional, and spiritual. And since our bodies share characteristics with the animal realm, it is obviously possible for us to be pulled in both an upward and downward direction through our endowment of energies.”
