BLACK WE LOVE.

We talk about the glory of Africanism, in the States, without having ever set a foot upon the Mother Land. It is a perspective, this stance, without the authority that comes from the feeling that courses through and from Ancestor to descendent, when an African child has set their foot upon the Land of the Blacks!

That said the feel of West African culture comes through your work with joy and seriousness. These tributes of yours return the indescribable feel of being (for a flash) in the north, and the west of Africa, to me. - Dawn Wolf, Keeper of Stories
