HALLOWEEN FUN: 10 KARDASHIAN OUTFITS

KIM KARDASHIAN

7. Leopard

Although this outfit is a little less revealing than we’d like, it’s undeniable that good ol’ Kim would still turn heads cavorting around Hollywood parties dressed like a sexy leopard. In actual fact though, this cat suit is one that she eschewed in favor of another Halloween costume. Shame, really, as one thing’s for sure: if you encountered her on a safari it wouldn’t be your rifle you were aiming her way. Kim Purrrdashian, indeed.

LIVING FULLY IN THE MOMENT

Chantal Cosetta

"Perfection in the moment is a part of our lives in ways living doesn't readily reveal until you are deep in the moment and present. How it feels to age is dependent upon the number of moments embraced as moments and cherished. Perfection of form and body, the light of the eyes, and the cherished moments enriching other's lives builds momentum towards the ultimate highs, the marvelous gains in our relationships. The way we look at things is the way we look. It is why some are elegant and others are daring, and so forth and so on the puzzles of existence play with the living aspects of existence.

Life is marvelous within an exquisite beauty not limited to the social constraints of design, and fear, or gossip. Life for an elegant man is the life of giving. Life with an expressive and beautiful soul of either gender means so much in the world and to the world it is invaluable a presentation of deep probing powers that ennoble others." - Gregory E. Woods

MISTRESS of the DARK:Elvira

Cassandra Peterson (Elvira) undressed

Elvira is one of the sexiest white women in the public eye. Kim Kardashian, Paris Hilton and those other reality stars could have learned a thing or two about discretion from Elvira. Elvira maintained a public persona and a private life with dignity and without glimpses between her legs! There is a technique to fame I learned from her! - Gregory E. Woods 9.24.12

Elvira (Cassandra Peterson)

Cassandra Peterson (born September 17, 1949) is better known for her on-screen persona "Elvira, Mistress of the Dark". She gained fame on Los Angeles television station KHJ wearing a black, gothic, cleavage-enhancing gown as host of ''Movie Macabre'', a weekly horror movie presentation. Her wicked vampish appearance was offset by her comical character, quick witted personality and most of all talking like a Valley girl.

DREAMS OF CONSCIOUSNESS CHANGE

"For a moment I saw the Tree of Life, the concentric teachings of the Medicine Wheel, and ever so briefly, was blinded by a light. I closed my eyes instinctively to absorb the bit of pain from that light emanating from the art, and simply sat still until the Women's voices began song, and chant..." - Dawn Wolf, Keeper of Stories 10.27.12

COWBOYS, AMERICANS & THE 1%

I am thinking about this. Gregory's words always grab me deeply. Such gross tragedy. I didn't watch either convention. I just caught the highlights on CNN International and BBC World. Both are quite balanced broadcasts, at least compared to CNN in America or Fox and so forth. What I saw about the Republican Convention was more than disappointing. It was pathetic. Here is the point. In Europe I am seeing a huge portrait of the bad assed cowboy. I mean, the Good, Bad and Ugly? Next came Clint looking like he just woke up. Later I hear he ad libbed the entire talk (talk his words: I don't do speeches, I just talk). Why Clint? He was the mayor of Carmel; a 1% village close to San Francisco. A lovely town to visit... I digress.

The Wild West cowboy symbolism is still being drawn on to reach Americans, white and rural most likely. The winning of the West involves not genocide, but real deal *murder* of the indigenous of North America. Native American? America is a word derived from an explorer from Portugal.

So, I was sitting here thinking, oh dear, from Ronald Reagan to Bush the Younger; the Republican Party has been using the Cowboy imagery to promote their values and platform. America the Beautiful should be apologizing for the mindless brutality of those who won the West, including the Railroad companies. So the Euro-Anglo from Mexico to sea and shining sea murdered people to gain control of a continent. Vote for the Cowboy. It is "our" heritage. Is that the symbolism here? At least the Dutch teach their children of their complicity in the African slave trade and selling guns to the North and then using the profits to buy cotton from the South.

The Euro-Anglo white man, i.e. Americans, needs to rethink the Cowboy, and the rape of a continent. The one good thing about Clint, and I think it is rich in irony: here is an American Icon (and I do like a lot of his movies) in his 80's, who didn't comb his hair, ad libbing his speech to the world. Supporters and the media called him loopy and funny, to be polite I reckon. I say it was symbol for this: Romney and his party represent the 1%: most living either in places like Carmel or gated security neighbors, most old and if not old kids who don't understand American History and love Cowboy mythology. Contrast that with a youthful family man of color trying to serve the best interests of a land of thieves, murderers and religious nuts. An African-American who I reckon has a forgiving heart and an African-American trying to help the global economy by helping raise the standards of America's neighbors.

The American white atonement will never happen, at least in my lifetime. At least we have the words of lads like Gregory to just remember. It is hard to remember sometimes, especially if you are guilty. As Chris Rock likes to say, it is just ignorant. It is just ignorant to project the Cowboy to the world. America; the "leader" of the world. -  Forrest A. Wright  9.19.12

DOLPIN

Pink and Gray River Dolphins
Of the five freshwater species of dolphins in the world, the pink Amazon River dolphin, Inia geoffrensis, or "bufeo colorado” as they are known in Peru and “botos" as they known in in Brazil, are considered to be the most intelligent.

These friendly, sensitive, mammals with a brain capacity 40% larger than that of humans, who have lived in harmony with the people of the Amazon and its tributaries for centuries, now face extinction in some tributaries. What was considered to be one of the least threatened species of dolphins 20 years ago, has now become one of the most endangered species due to the accelerated and commercialized rape of the Amazon basin and the destruction of the South American tropical rainforest. - Glakwa Kweenie

WITCHES COVE: a story

Odess Moondragon HP, 10-21-05
By the way, I'm 69, soon to be 70 (insert scream here) and Mom will be 97 on 11-1.Witches Cove
She then takes your hand and leads you over to the big cauldron and motions for you to look into the deep pool of darkness to see what you need to see or need to know. After you have done this, She turns you around to walk back to where you were sitting, but as
you do so, you notice that the forest has opened up once again and that everyone is leaving. The hounds are sitting at the edge of the woo
ds waiting for their Mistress. Hecate smiles at you, and assures you silently that everything will be all right. You then realize that She has always been with you.

She turns to leave and as She does so, She lifts up her arm and the Owl flies down to once again perch on Her arm. After She has gone, you sit and think of all that you have learned this very magickal night. You hear the howling of the hounds, and this awakens you from your meditation.

After a few minutes have passed, Hecate approaches, and as She does so, her face keeps changing from maiden, to the mother, and to the crone, because there are many faces of Hecate, as She is the three and the one. As She stands before you, her face stops changing and rests the way you see Her. You look deep into her eyes and you see the key that unlocks the door to the mysteries. As you look deep within, you realize that it is the reflection of your own eyes that you see with the key and that you yourself hold the key to unlock those mysteries. You realize that it is you who has to look within your own soul for the answers.

As you feel comforted at that, you notice movement from the corner of your eye that someone is coming out from within the forest. The trees seem to part on their own. You watch as an old woman walks out from the forest with an owl perched on her arm. You are drawn to her eyes, which seem to be deep dark pools of wisdom. She walks with a cane made from a Yew tree with a crystal sitting on top of it, and feathers are hanging down the side. You know from the power that resonates from this woman that She is Hecate. She lifts her arms, and the Owl leaves her to fly over to you. Listen to the words of wisdom of what the owl has to share with you.

The breeze really picks up now, and as you watch, out from the forest comes friends and family you have known from other lifetimes, and in this lifetime, but have passed over, and they come into your circle. Sit and wait to see if any of them come to talk with you, giving you a chance to clear things up, or to say the words that remained unspoken when they passed over. If nothing is said, do not worry. They are there to let you know that you are never really alone.

Now sit in silence and see yourself sitting in a sacred circle out in the woods. There is a briskness in the air. In the middle of your circle is a fire burning and you can smell the burning of the wood and the heat from the fire.

A cauldron sits hanging over the fire with a bubbling brew in it. The sweet scent of sage fills your nostrils. Everything is still.....nothing moves. All you hear are
the creatures of the night.

Suddenly, the energy shifts, and you feel as if someone is there. The air begins to stir, you feel a slight breeze across your face. The dried leaves on the trees begin to rustle and then the wooded forest seems to open on its own accord. Out walks three hounds. They seem wild, but something tells you not to be afraid on them. The hounds walk into your circle, and although they sit, they are forever watchful. Each one is looking in a different direction.

Owls are sacred to Hecate and screech their loudest in November and then are silent until February. They are messengers to Hecate and She has given them the gift of prophecy, hence their reputation for wisdom, the crone wisdom of the Goddess.

When performing a Samhain ritual, many Witches invoke Hecate, as Samhain is a time when the veils between the worlds are at their thinnest. The living and the dead co-mingle, and we can talk to departed souls and learn the mysteries of Hecate's kingdom. For this is Her festival, just as the dead are her realm.

Hecate is the Greek goddess of black magic and the keeper of the keys to the underworld
. Often called the goddess of SHADES (ghosts), Hecate appears entwined with snakes and is associated with pain and suffering. In some representations, Hecate has three heads and can look in all directions at the same time. She is feared not only for her powers as a witch but because she could also cause sickness, infertility, and insanity. A minor goddess, Hecate has been called the mistress of "everything dark and uncanny."

At night, especially during the new moon, Hecate leaves the infernal regions and roams the earth with an army of dead souls and a pack of hounds of hell. The sound of howling dogs is a warning that Hecate is nearby. During the daylight hours and when the moon is full, Hecate is confined to the depths of the underworld, where she plans her future exploits. -

Symbolism related to Samhain:

Third Harvest, wisdom of the Crone, death of the God, reflection on our place in the Wheel of the Year, New Year, reincarnation, the dark mysteries, Rebirth after Death.

For Witches, Halloween is one of the four High Holidays. Because it is the most important holiday of the year, it is sometimes called 'The Great Sabbat.' With such an important holiday, Witches often hold two distinct celebrations. First, a large Halloween party for non-Craft friends, usually held on the previous weekend; then a second, a Coven or Solitary ritual held on Halloween night itself, late enough so as not to be interrupted by trick-or-treaters. If the rituals are performed properly, there is often the feeling of invisible friends taking part in the rites.

Wearing costumes and 'trick-or-treating' is a Celtic tradition However, there are some important differences between the old and the modern version. The custom was not just for children, but was actively indulged in by adults as well. The 'treat' required was usually one of spirits (the liquid variety).

In ancient times, roving bands would sing seasonal carols from house to house, making the tradition very similar to Yuletide wassailing. In fact, the custom known as 'caroling', now connected exclusively with mid-winter, was once practiced at all the major holidays.

Bobbing for apples might represent the Pagan 'baptism' rite called a 'seining'. The water-filled tub a Cauldron of sorts. The participant in this folk game was usually blindfolded with their hands tied behind their back which makes you think of a traditional Craft initiation ceremony.

Perhaps the most famous icon of the holiday is the jack-o'lantern. Clearly it was used as a lantern by people who traveled the road at night, the scary face meant to frighten away spirits or faeries who might otherwise lead one astray. Set on porches and in windows, they cast the same spell of protection over the household. I prefer the American pumpkin over the traditional Old World carved turnip! Of course a turnip would be easier to carry than a pumpkin but I think I would prefer the greater light a pumpkin would give off!

Some fun things to do at All Hallows Eve is to divine for your true love! Girls can place hazel nuts along the front of the fireplace, each one to represent someone she would like to have as a boyfriend. She can then divine her future husband by chanting, 'If you love me, pop and fly; if you hate me, burn and die."

Several methods used the apple, that most popular of Halloween fruits. You should

slice an apple through from side to side (to reveal the five-pointed star within) and then eat it by candlelight before a mirror. Your future spouse will then appear over your shoulder. (Some of these suggestions require a good imagination)

Or, peel an apple, making sure the peeling comes off in one long strand, reciting, "I pare this apple round and round again; My sweetheart's name to flourish on the plain: I fling the unbroken paring o'er my head, My sweetheart's letter on the ground to read."

A night of glowing jack-o'lanterns, bobbing for apples, tricks or treats, and dressing in costume. A night of ghost stories and seances, tarot card readings and scrying with mirrors. A night of power, when the veil that separates our world from the Otherworld is at its thinnest. A 'spirit night', as they say in Wales. - Odess Moondragon HP

Playfulness?

I believe it.

I have only seen dolphins once, and that was off the coast of South Carolina a few years ago. They didn't show themselves until after I'd left an offering in the ocean to appease and acknowledge and honor the dead Africans in the water. SYMBOLS OF POWER: Dolphin nation

from Glakwa Kweenie

"Christian symbolism conveys the dolphin as an aspect of Christ. Dolphins seen in Christian art are symbolic of resurrection. Some artists utilize the protective, stabilizing, compassionate demeanor of the dolphin as a message of wellbeing to the pure of heart. Some artistic renditions speak of dolphins transporting the spirits of the faithful to Christ's side upon leaving their physical bodies.

This dolphin meaning is mimicked in ancient Greece where legend tells us the dolphin was responsible for carrying the souls of the dead to the Islands of the Blessed.

Also in Greece, the dolphin is a compatriot of both the god Apollo (sun) and the goddess Aphrodite (moon). Both lunar symbolism and solar symbolism are represented in the dolphin.

Sun Dolphin meanings: Active, Life, Vibrant, Health, Renewal, Intelligence

Moon Dolphin meaning: Hidden power, Intuition, Dreams, Conception, Feminine

This is a key understanding because the dolphin meaning is connected with themes of duality. It has to do with the dolphin being both fish and mammal. It is both of the water, and an air breather. Ergo, dolphin symbolism talks to us about "being in two worlds at once." Indeed, the dolphin is a great conveyor of the concept of yin and yang.

Along with the divine Apollo sun and Aphrodite moon associations, other deities associated with the dolphin include:

Poseidon (Greek), Neptune (Roman)

Themes of kingship, rulership, authority, strength, dominion, freedom, intelligence, compassion and fatherly protection over the entire kingdom (sea): Eros (Greek), Cupid (Roman). These gods contribute dolphin meaning of: Love, friendliness, playfulness, sensuality, desire, exploration, curiosity, attraction and joy: Dionysus (Greek), Bacchus (Roman). These deities underscore the dolphins ability to uplift, and carries themes of joviality, freedom, wildness, abandon, creative self-expression.

Greek myth indicates Dionysus was known to turn himself into a dolphin and transported the shrine at Delphi where the cult of dolphin worshippers convened. The term Delphi is noteworthy as the Greek word for dolphin is delphis and its derivative, delphys means womb. This incorporates more lunar and feminine attributes to the dolphin scene. - Glakwa Kweenie

Don't be afraid
Open your mouth and say
Say what your soul sings to you
Your mind can never change
Unless you ask it to
Lovingly re-arrange
The thoughts that make you blue
The things that bring you down
Only do harm to you
So make your choice joy
The joy belongs to you
And when you do
You'll find the one you love is you
You'll find you love you..

RED HEARTS

Grandfather Bear-Tata Oso, an Apache- Mexika Medicine Man said the following words while leading a Sweat Lodge, Inipi, or Temascal Ceremony.“I am proud to call myself an Indio (Indian). I am an Indian. I am a Red Man, Yo soy Indio, Yo soy Hombre Rojo”.

These words were spoken in the Ceremony on the Aguaje de La Tuna Kumyaii Indian Reservation near Tecate B.C., Mexico, at the Spring EquinoxCeremon
y in March 2012.

There were about 30 people in the sweat lodge including men, women and children. The leader of the sweat lodge, Grandfather Bear-Tata Oso, said the following: “There are some that think the word Indio (Indian) is a bad word and that we should call ourselves Native Americans or other words. This is not true,

“A mi la palabra Indio quiere decir “En Dios.” “To me, the word Indio means “in God.”

There are some in here that are Indios (Indians) and have Red Hearts. There are some in here that are Indios (Indians) that have White Hearts. There are some White People in here that have Red Hearts. There are White people with White Hearts; however, none of them are with us. What do we mean by that? Creator created 4 colors or races of man. These are the 4 colors of maiz (corn) : red, white, yellow and black. The color of the skin makes no difference because we are all created equal by Creator.

The Lakota say “Mitakuye Oyasin” (all my relations). We are all one in the eyes of the Great Mystery, Creator, Wantan Tanka, and Ometeotl. We are all a small part of Creator. The color of the skin is meaningless. The color of the Heart is a different thing.

The Indio (Indian) with a Red Heart remembers that he or she belongs to the Earth and the Earth does not belong to them. The Indio remembers that he was placed and on Earth to care for the Earth, her water, air, the skin or surface including the rocks, the mountains and the mineral resources of Earth, the plants, the animals, the birds, the fish and the creepy crawly ones that are all part of Mother Earth and each other.

The Way of the Red Heart is the way of peace. It is a way of caring for and respecting all our Brothers and Sisters on Earth. The people with Red Hearts also respect all the elements of Mother Earth: air, water, fire and the earth herself.

The Way of the White Heart is the way of greed, the destruction of Earth for short-term gain and war. It is a way of materialism.

The White Heart says “I own that piece of property, that car, that home, whatever.” Those with White Hearts say that they own the air space, water, and land. They say “We can build large, high fences to keep the Indio and anyone we do not like out. We are superior to them.”

The Indio with a Red Heart says “Creator owns that piece of property. It is mine to care for.” There is a very marked lack of possessiveness among those with the Red Heart.

The White Heart teaches that one should distrust or even despise anyone with a different color of skin, different language, different culture or different religion (particularly non-Christian religions) and immigrants.

The Red Heart realizes that We Are All One and that we are all a small part of the Creator of the Universe. We are not separate.
The people of the Red heart live in a hoop, a circle. No one stands in front of them, no one stands behind them, and no one stands above or below them. All are one and equal.

“The time has come,” say the Elders of the Red Men, “to release the teachings of Red Road (La Via Roja) to all people. We need to teach all about the Red Heart of love, compassion, peace, trust, caring for all people”.

This is extremely important at this time since the rising of the Fifth Sun – The Return of Light is occurring now. The New Sun is gradually arising and shining on Earth at this time. This is the year The Return of Light. In order to enter the Fifth World or the Fifth Sun, we must cultivate the Red Heart. It is our choice. The time is now to decide.

The Via Roja the Red Road is the ONLY way to survive the troubles that we on Earth face at this time.

Many Indios or Red Men have forgotten who they are and why they are on Earth. They have developed White Hearts. Their hearts are filled with greed, jealousy, envy and materialism. Many Red Men are discovering who they really are and why they are on Earth at this time. They are becoming Beings of Light.

Many White, Black and Yellow people are also discovering the Red Way. They are learning that they have Red Hearts and are letting their lights shine.

This is not a Religion. This is a Spiritual Teaching. The Red Road has Christians, Buddhists, Hindus, Muslims and members of many other religions as participants.

Many indigenous groups in all parts of the world follow the Red Road and have for generations. This is not to say that indigenous cultures cannot be greedy, patriarchal or warlike peoples. Some are.

The Red road does not require that you participate in Native American Ceremonies or wear Indian cloths. It is a way of the heart. As soon as enough lights shine, darkness will disappear from Earth.

The Light we have been awaiting for so long is returning! A glorious World is emerging!

We are the people we have been waiting for!
We are the people we have been expecting!

"The deeper causes and reasons against the advancement of women are individual ones from the organizations that have formulated the opinions, thoughts, and beliefs, and actions against the substance of women in politics, life, religion and business. It is a dirty job unmasking the core value system within a Judeo-Christian culture, and fearful, it is, to do that kind of spiritual work, but without doing it activists wind up facing people who've memorized scripts, and accepted modes of behavior like actors. They've essentially learned to lie to each other with a modicum of skill..."

Will supporting natural marriage get you fired?

On Wednesday, October 10, Gallaudet University suspended Dr. Angela McCaskill when it was learned that she had signed a ballot petition giving Maryland voters the right to vote on recently passed legislation that redefines marriage in the state. McCaskill signed the petition in chu
rch at the urging of her pastor. McCaskill (and over 200,000 other petition signers) believe voters should be heard on marriage, but her employer found this action "inappropriate" and suspended her.

FRC warned months ago that when the names of the petition signers were published online by a homosexual advocacy group, it was in an effort to intimidate and silence those who affirm natural marriage. Sadly, this is exactly what is happening at Gallaudet University.

Coyote takes water from the frog people – Kalapuya

Coyote was out hunting and he found a dead deer. One of the deer's rib bones looked just like a big dentalia shell, and Coyote picked it up and took it with him. He went to see the frog people. The frog people had all the water. When anyone wanted any water to drink or cook with or to wash, they had to go and get it from the frog people. Coyote came up.

"Hey, frog people, I have a big dentalia shell. I want a big drink of water - I want to drink for a long time."

"Give us that shell," said the frog people, "and you can drink all you want."

Coyote gave them the shell and began drinking. The water was behind a large dam where Coyote drank.

"I'm going to keep my head down for a long time," said Coyote, "because I'm really thirsty. Don't worry about me."

"Okay, we won't worry," said the frog people. Coyote began drinking. He drank for a long time. Finally one of the frog people said, "Hey, Coyote, you sure are drinking a lot of water there. What are you doing that for?"

Coyote brought his head out of the water. "I'm thirsty."

"Oh."

After a while one of the frog people said, "Coyote, you sure are drinking a lot. Maybe you better give us another shell."

"Just let me finish this drink," said Coyote, putting his head back under the water. The frog people wondered how a person could drink so much water. They didn't like this. They thought Coyote might be doing something. Coyote was digging out under the dam all the time he had his head under water. When he was finished, he stood up and said, "That was a good drink. That was just what I needed." Then the dam collapsed, and the water went out into the valley and made the creeks and rivers and waterfalls.

The frog people were very angry. "You have taken all the water, Coyote!"

"It's not right that one people have all the water. Now it is where everyone can have it." Coyote did that. Now anyone can go down to the river and get a drink of water or some water to cook with, or just swim around.

the SACRED MASCULINE POWERS

I understand the intent, but the image of feminine masculinity as Divinity, even as a boy, stood out in stark contrast to deep divine, and the magnificent energy of my father, and the men of his time and ilk. Feminine masculinity's very existence in sermons, and images couldn't serve me in any capacity as a boy or a man surrounded by men living as men. Broken energies transferred to a Divinity is incapable of making, initiating, or sustaining manhood which is so fundamental to the structures of Life, Death and Resurrection. - Gregory E. HEATHER HEADLEY

Black singer Heather Headley on roof top !!!!

Question: How are you going about approaching the character and approaching the songs to make them your own?
Headley: I've been saying this: I can't be Whitney. I am not capable of being Whitney Houston. I had to stop listening to the records because they're intimidating. She really did have one of the best voices that we have ever been privileged to hear. And, I'm very happy that this is not a biopic, so it's not about her life. But in the same vain, it's like trying to come in after Barbra Streisand. You're trying to do Funny Girlafter Barbra Streisand did it. You're trying to do Hello, Dolly! after Carol Channing — it's a tough thing. So, for me, I think the big thing has been to find my own Rachel. Of course, giving the honor and the kudos to Whitney's version, but just finding my own Rachel, within my body, within my voice because it is an original show — but yet it's not. I think there are a lot of people, especially now, who are walking in going, "Oh, you have to be Whitney," but I can't. I'm incapable of such. You know what I mean? So the deal is now to find — kind of treat her — as though it was Aida or just learning a new part. What is she to me? What do I feel? And, the nice thing about it is that…it's been adapted. And, so with [writers] Lawrence Kasdan and Alex Dinelaris, they changed it. There are new emotions, new relationships popping up, new everything, so I do have to find a whole new path down that road, but they are some very high designer shoes to fill!

Question: How would you describe the Rachel that you're playing?
Headley: She is a huge pop star, but has her own demons and has kind of been brought up in the spotlight and has her insecurities — has her fears. There's the fear of, "I have to succeed, but can I? Can I not?" … You have these insecurities on the inside that sometimes make you act out in not the best of ways. And, on top of that, she's a broken girl, which is the best story. It's about broken people, and these two broken people can find each other in each other's arms…

I remember being a broken girl and my husband coming in and kind of picking up all those pieces and putting them together. When you find the right person, you can just be. You can be you. You can pull that mask down and say, "I don't have to be tough today. I don't have to be cold today, and I don't have to be this…" So that's my thing about finding her. I'm not trying to base her on anybody's life or anything like that and be like, "Oh, she's based on this pop star or that." It's just knowing what people go through…CONTINUE
