sensually the smoke curled upward. . .

A Knowing to Remember.

[A] statuesque woman against the backdrop of the ocean is a vision unlike other visions because the vision most overwhelming is the sound of the dead Africans in the ocean, who didn't cross over. - Dawn Wolf, Keeper of Stories Sept. 15, 2017

What to Fear!

[The] baby in her she believes is sexy to the lowest common denominator of men. How does a man work to unarranged that paradigm? Does a man sin against Nature taking such a woman to bed? She, submitting to his male part, isn't going to expand. She may decline into the lower realms, but would she know such a thing to be a default? Would such a disturbing state punish her, or free her, or is freedom in the idea of sex for anything?

These are hard questions to avoid and hard to unravel in the swirl of violence against women, but they must be undertaken for the survival of a people, yet unborn! - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories [December 29, 2017]

Big Girls Don't Cry!

Big girl by Roland Dawson! December 2017.

Big girls today often receive veiled compliments saturated with pity for being big; at the same time sounding grateful for their beauty, making over exaggerated exclamations to sound like they approve of the weight, and make sounds like they enjoy looking at a big woman's fashion sense! The truth is many women struggle with how big, big women are because they want to live up to a standard of beauty that defies who they really are physically.

What a conflict!

It is acceptable to pose as a tolerant person and being overweight is considered the worse state to be in, so how do women justify sounding appreciative of big women? It is a big dilemma of the modern American woman. We see it all the time on television. It is absurd, and pitiful to a lot of us men. We like what we like and a lot of us simply like big women.

It is hard to tell if there is envy or pity in tolerant people pushed into a corner to be accepting.

I wish for authenticity to be found by them at some point in their lives, but people are afraid of it. - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories 12/28/17

"... [This] big legged Black woman's joy isn't from the hip fashionable panel dress weaving a glorious way around her body, it is the simplicity of how fine she feels, how  fine she is..." - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Storie

Facing a New Year!

1st Lady Michelle Obama.

There are choices to be made in the 18th year of this century. Among them is one of style, not in the frivolous sense of dress, but of survival in a tumultuous time period when the ingredients of what makes the U.S. a terror are raging, tugging at the seams of pretense. Do Black women have choices to be made?

Sure do.

The wrong one is to die. One is a choice between what Michelle Obama embodies, and life in the streets dictate. - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories [December 29, 2017]

Looking Out Within...

Sadha's exquisite beauty asks a question, and it teases.

Sitting still, and pretty!

Composure is as important as being centered. Being centered is at the center of composure. Being beautiful does not follow along this line of agreement: one can be without the other. In short, beauty can belong to the worse of people, and the best of our kind can lack the physical beauty so appealing to the eye.

It is quite the riddle being alive and listening to all the pleasing memories of who we are joined with, who we are, and how we look in the world!- Dawn Wolf, Keeper of Stories 8/29/17

Birth Day of Nichelle Nichols

Nichelle Nichols. She was born December 28th, 1932.
In life became a vocalist, model, actress, writer, producer, activist, and a NASA Recruiter.
She is most remembered for her role in the first Star Trek series in the 1960's. It was quite important. Those days Colored women then and prior to that show usually did not play sophisticated roles. It was quite the coup significant enough to rank among the great pivotal roles in the Civil Rights movement. - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories

Before Sex, think!

Audrey Bitoni is a woman first, and a series of speculation to follow the designs of a man's intentions towards her! Before sex a man must think deeply from his sacred spot. Without one he is a mere brute. - Dawn Wolf, Keeper of Stories

Audrey Bitoni is a woman you may wonder about, but if being a porn actress is not the same as a whore, or a woman is a woman then do the elements of her soul loss become part of you upon entry into her body? It is a question to be answered, if asked; concern may follow, or indifference may be the call of the moment. It is all a series of choices made before entry, and the opportunity. - Dawn Wolf, Keeper of Stories 12/13/17

Look Out into Her!

Audrey Bitoni is a woman first, and a series of speculation to follow the designs of a man's intentions towards her! Before sex a man must think deeply from his sacred spot. Without one he is a mere brute. A woman is a great mystery. A man probes into that mystery as it flows into the whole spectrum of worlds a man has within him!

A man is a mystery, a mystery is a woman. - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories 12/1317

the PATH down!

Cactus can absorb radiation from a computer monitor, some say. I use crystals.
- Dawn Wolf, Keeper of Stories

There are two seemingly different trains of thought or arenas of concern areas an older person (an Elder) in first: "Love our babies, who are not afraid to speak up!" and another verse that says: "You don't recognize me in real time, so our phones have become our #RealWorld!" Confused together the author of this 'observation' left this text to become (I surmise) a saying of encouragement. But, the first sentence is profound for a young person to hear who has found his or her voice in times of conformity! On second read, the second sentence does not have the bridge to connect the two subjects! The voice of the second sentence is the voice of the current generation's naivety; the first one of maturity.

We can let the first sentence go its own way because youth needs the fundamental support from Elders, in the true form and potency of that role. The second one is troubling. The implication is the children are proud of what they believe is their creation and firm in substance as reality: their disconnect from the world as it is, and has always been: multidimensional and complex by virtue of their connections between all life forms.

The marketing started decades ago. In my lifetime I've had the pain of knowing it and learning its mechanisms. At this point momentum carries the ungrounded, and ill-informed children down a yellow brick road they could not tell the color of because the goal of disconnecting people starts during infancy. If a people without a common origin story, belonging to the same nation can not know the roots of their nation; their own understanding of self and the surrounding world is simply skewed, and they are no more than cannon fodder programmed to be victims of whatever someone else chooses. Without predators they would not know their vulnerability; without Protectors trained from the spirit to the mind millions of these children easily remain in a continued state of not knowing!

It is a chilling observation from my place understanding how and why American culture separated children from the tools they need to become impeccable, and became indifferent to teaching children's spirit has hosted the spirit and attitudes of the times, the children; and now the adults who are starting fires with their disconnected sense of space, time, people, culture related to the how of their existence, as parents!

What has changed since 1942?

Sharply dressed Negro couple standing for a full length portrait shot taken at the Daisy Studio,

"She just gits outa bed snapping this pic! Damn! She can't git 'nuff. We just had... "
It was funny. Rodney, her man, complains about getting too much! A lot of cats loose their women asking for what they cannot handle like women, who can't get enough sex and need to get laid frequently. They lose their focus to easily because their intent is unexamined and they are not schooled in the arts a nimble sex fiend, like Rodney's woman, can teach, and he can submit to the woman's need, will and abilities! - Gregory E.
