Oh, yeah! That is Dean Martin! We had many great family moments watching Dean Martin's movies. It was when he showed up on variety shows in the '60's and who he performed with that was so much fun. Remember how smooth he was, and the way he smoked elegantly and drank with aplomb? He made everything he did cool, or seem cool. 

In our house we got a kick out of the way he easily segued from banter, to song, to cigarette, to joke, to sly smile, adoring eyes, to song and back to his cigarette that occupied his pregnant pause before a line, or a punch line. Remember that?

Disgusting to many across all lines this man receives a lot of support for not being prosecuted for having sex with a 14 year against her will....

This woman is evoking memories, keen memories of that time. There is a great deal to be shared with a younger generation to give them perspective and a backdrop to their understanding of the world we created for them. It would serve a far bigger purpose than idolizing an actress, for the most part, forgotten save for the way she left this earth, if we told the surrounding stories of Sharon Tate's life the way traditional Elders shared with their youth. - Gregory E.
