a Sacred Woman story

mature woman - Vixen Kitty 3

an Ideal came to me in the form of a dream. What she said she meant. She meant to tell many things a normal man should grasp, but couldn't in a state of lust or anxiousness.

Everything around and within her said, "Come hither."

Wisdom told me, "Wait. Wait a minute."

I did. I looked around and within and what I saw made me think of the popular way the story of White Buffalo Calf Woman's story is told outside of the Lakota people from whence her story comes from.

a Discovery

... in the woods we found her. She didn't budge when we saw her. Her stillness was unsettling. Brad avoided looking at her. Tony didn't pay attention to the warning signs, and was the first one she killed. Me? I didn't stand a chance so I didn't move. I stood there. She held my gaze for a long time before she slowly turned her head and looked at something in the distance. Her apparent indifference was lethal and laced with implied danger.

I watched the sky change, and the sun fall, as did she. It was long minutes into the last hour before the sunset that she released me back into the consciousness of my body. - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories 4.23.13

Soulflower Amn's staggering power

I was deeply touched within my soul looking at your photos. Something from the Earth element grabbed me. I can't express it well enough but the gift of it must be an enormous jolt to many people who regard you in the wrong light. It, your kind of beauty, and presence, reminds me of the Lakota story of White Buffalo Calf Woman. -Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories
