ESTEEM

NIGGERS is. . .

“… but further down into the relationships between Black and White Americans no people will accord and measure Black American life above the narrow defintions of Black life Black people subscribe to their lives, existence, and meaning. We are what we call ourselves. If we insist upon defending the practice of calling ourselves niggers, and call ourselves niggers we will be judged by the standards we set, and be niggers throughout the world! It is that simple, and that complex because we don't own our images!” - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories
