SUNDAY PREACHER

Preaching about money, fame, and fortune is popular but marching against wage discrimination and unfair employment practices gets little attention. Getting people to shout on Sunday morning pumps everyone up, but talking about the need for the shouters to get involved in tutoring and the education of their children causes silence. For too long, we have followed Biblical teachings that make up feel good but never challenge us. I do understand that everyone is at different levels, but I'm deeply concerned that too many people want to be like Jesus when it's convenient and beneficial and turn away when it's time to go against the norm (status quo) and seek to make a difference.
