She Through His Lenses

Immaturity and beauty playing within Svetlana Frolikova.
Photo taken by Etay Appelberg. [October 2018]

Immaturity has an unskilled way of posing. It takes time and a process of initiation to properly hone the craft a girl needs to become a woman in the deeper sense of Being. Posing has its purpose. It is beauty being photographed and other intangibles praised in the silence of a still pose. Either direction it is a moment and moments gathered together tell stories we all need to extend ourselves... - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories 10/11/18

Sunlight upon Marley Mason. Water and light are two elements of Creation. The fire of light copulates with the element of Water to nourish Earth. Air carries these elements in circles holding Life together. She, in the strength of her youth, is potential. Direction comes from intent, intent from the Dream within born within the moment she left Mother's Womb! These elements and this story is a shared story. The question to one and all is the same: "How do we birth who we are into existence?"

Marilyn Monroe awoke

Micky Bells is baffling in her simplicity and comfortable. Europe's standard of beauty, as seen within her, launched many changes in other people's cultures. The high and exceptional standards of beauty found around the world by European men aroused and baffled them, but failed to assuage the savageness within them! After and during the rapes these early versions of depravity destroyed many women's souls, but European conquests justified the trend, and defined their legacy.

The Women's Movement, in truth, began from the bound spirits of European women, who had never seen free women before they arrived in what became known as, the New World! When they saw the Red Nations, on the shores of the Atlantic, and how women lived European women were stunned into enlightenment! They participated in the murders of these people they would dispossess, but centuries into the conquest of land and souls, their language changed. When the white women became political activists they, at times, took on the cause of slavery temporarily, and racial equality for an even briefer time period, until it no longer had advantages. . . - Gregory E. She Lived 90 years!

Old Woman, Long Life: How?

Claire Trevor was an American actress. She appeared in over 60 films, winning the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Key Largo, and earning nominations for her roles in The High and the Mighty and Dead End. She also received top billing in Stagecoach. She had 3 husbands and one son. She lived between these two dates: Mar 08, 1910 - Apr 08, 2000.

I wonder what death, the afterlife, birth and living was for her as an old woman, now, as a baby and how she fared as an old woman! I always wonder about those things as I age through the 12 stages of Life!

Death, like Life. is a dance you dance, or dance into or dance with. What do you do with Death? Is your life existence, driven by purpose, or an unfolding prophecy? What is it like to simply be ordinary, or crude? I don't know, but I have known and know plenty like this. Truth is I am more interested in people living in places within themselves filled with powers embracing those powers and imparting unto others!

How these questions are answered orchestrate how one dreams, thinks, believes, has sex, and conducts themselves in relation to who they are and who others are in their own lives!

How do you live? - Dawn Wolf, Keeper of Stories 11/18/18

Claire Trevor, Belgium-French American actress.

God, she was elegant, and obviously from a bygone era when elegance, not crudeness, was a gift to the soul, and fundamental to the essence of a woman's bearing!... It is harder to impart this sensibility into girls today for reasons their parents and their adults need to uproot themselves... - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories 11/16/18

Claire Trevor, Belgium-French American actress b. 1910 !!!!

Claire Trevor, actress, lived a long time! She was 90 when she died. She would never have crossed the color line for love. She would have faded into contempt, loss favor and jobs. Her marital years would have lent no understanding in her favor had she... ~ Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories 11/18/18

Walking Story

Bethenny Frankel on the set of Extra, in Hollywood!
Damn, she is fine and contradictory in nature and manner!!!

Bethenny Frankel's walk is more of power in a man's world, and less a woman respectful of the blending her essence is capable of deepening a union between her and a man... Millions of American women give into this paradigm believing in its advantages, while questioning why they don't have basic things: a husband, a peaceful balance within, and answers that begin with why they have a place in Creation to restore balance!... - Dawn Wolf, Keeper of Stories 9/23/18

Old Nature, New Day.

Alishaaa Mae moist with the glee of being freed from childhood into the beginning of discovering the nature of being a woman. That means there are paths to explore. Any old woman would tell her that. A wise one will show her how! Alishaaa Mae in the quest for who she can become as a woman makes her discoveries. "Are they not as important as landing on the moon, the stars?" is an obvious question. Without a translation what does the Punany say to the soul? ~ Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories 10/30/18

Wadi Rum (‘The Valley of the Moon’) in Jordan

Wadi Rum’s forbidding landscapes don’t look particularly hospitable, but people have lived here since prehistoric times. This extraordinary region of sand seas and towering mountains in southern Jordan includes ancient Thamudic petroglyphs carved into cliff faces. Byzantine monks seeking the ascetic life are said to have taken up residence in this harsh desert. And over the centuries, nomadic Bedouins have traversed the scorching sands, as they still do to this day.

Moviemakers are also drawn to the severe majesty here: Many films have Wadi Rum to thank for some of their epic sweep, including ‘Lawrence of Arabia,’ ‘The Martian,’ and the Star Wars spin-off, ‘Rogue One.’ ~ anon

Henna design on Marcy S. DePina somewhere in Marrakech, December 17, 2012.

I have fond memories of Marrakech. The Medina! The best place to go in any city.

Back when I was young in Morocco, and in ancient times henna was part of the evidence of women's exclusivity in a culture moored in the dominance of men, and Islam and the prophet Mohammed. There was, and is hidden sacred power women held within themselves. Rituals, like drawing geometric designs on hands, and face (I never saw a woman's feet) maintained mystique and quiet powers within the household, and the men they married, and loved. It was deep the love a boy had for his mother, but at the age he went with the men created adoration for Mother, the way a man feels with deeper appreciation for the roles played by both genders.
There is a lot in Henna. - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories 10/30/18

Simply Put

Russian woman, Daria captured by Dmitry Nikitenko with his Nikon D5100 50mm 1.8

"Simple is a poem, simplicity is a concept, or a state of being within one's soul aware of all around in the round. It is circles that hold the worlds together in the belief in one, and all numbers including the most important one: zero. When you see this in a woman you've glimpsed the eternal within the ordinary... This is sacred mathematical skill my grandfathers and grandmothers taught by their presence in life." - Gregory E. This moment brings to the forefront of my memories yesterday wondering what today would look like, how it would feel. Well, here I am in that tomorrow glimpsing at a future I will never know. How will today be remembered tomorrow is dependent upon history and knowledge of it, and who we are as an individual and collectively where we do fit with the whole. The pity we feel in our young people is in their bearing: what they are unaware of. This unawareness is from a detachment engineered by the pieces left out in childhoods disconnected from the now, the land as mother, and play. - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories 10/06/18

Elegant Substance.

An elegant Black woman is poetry in the name of becoming, and the power of her presence is to be studied by a man growing into the essence of what a man is to the balancing principles she embodies, and can pass on through her womb into their children. It is a right to be one's self, and it is a privilege to live out one's mystery beyond mere existence. The woman, or women, until you mature, you pick or chose talk to and about the character you act out in your living. Whomever you pick prepares you, and whomever you think you picked knew you first!

Elegance is to be known as substance, not pretense or aloofness... - Dawn Wolf, Keeper of Stories

Forces In Natures.

Eva Mendes' exquisite beauty alongside her apparent joy within her living Life, adds to her appeal... Where does that go after death, to a child entering this life? - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories

The deep force of this white woman's face is the beauty that has grabbed and captivated imaginations, not because it is more spectacular; it is framed inside of a history of survival. - Dawn Wolf, Keeper of Stories

Hat coolly worn by this woman is different in respect to her African heritage. It feels different, her style of being from her essence, from white women's projections via fashion! White women can wear African clothes, not the essence can the clothes wear. They, as anyone else, can only wear who they are in essence...  - Dawn Wolf, Keeper of Stories

the African People + the Terrorists

Royalty has its way of expressing itself outside the vernacular of Europe with profound dignity and the lightness of play with the essential elements of spirituality, in the context of what is ancient about African traditions. This is far away from the pretense of British royalty, which does not repent playing its game, as if its evil has nothing to do with its stench, its practiced cruelty and the Arabic terror attacks in Europe and the U.S.! This kind of denial is unique among apex predators. It is a blindness protected by fear: fear they created and sustained in others, and by the techniques that employ servitude with gratitude colored by fears of 'them'!

This is a language whites, for hundreds of years, have refused to acknowledge but know; didn't want to accept, but outlawed taking humanity from other people they don't respect. That's a puzzle? Imagine being the grandchild of an ex-slave negotiating a life among masters of terror, who claim not to be the terror they generate!

STRENGTH and DELICATE

Roses and Yaniksa Lee captured in essence by Roland Dawson. 2018.

Delicate is the essential quality of the rose. Assembled in numbers is the strength of accumulated essences of all those roses. Roses, if you know the story of the rose, breath around the spirit of certain women leaving the scent of an essence highly valued in sacred ways of being alive. Once glimpsed it changes the perception of women in even a crude soul. But, in this moment Yaniksa Lee is delight in the wonder of an essence under valued in our society. . . - Gregory E.
