What we say Is

Powers of Thought

There are slang terms men use who sense they are close to getting laid. In their excitement talking about sex the terms 'beating it up' or bustin' it open' are rarely thought of as mean. It's just a way of speaking about women's sex.

But, you can't. You can't beat 'it' up. That is abuse. Who would mistreat the Sacred, or use such language in the presence of the Most High? In the language of the Punany beating it up is a brutal beating, and busting it open is rape.
That's how I feel about the nature of words in relation to the wonder and poetry of Punany. - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories 5.11.15
