Discovery

My Poetic Journey
Shanelle Gayden wrote...

Who is Serenity....

Serenity was broken, hurt, alone, confused, questioning what was, and had absolutely no clue....

I had the opportunity to talk to Serenity one day and she told me just a portion of her story that led me to believe in the power of Serenity! Serenity is ME.

Shanelle Gayden said, "In the deepest part of me I bring creativity to help set free the pain of one's misery that was designed to break down...but ohhhhhh how things turn around! My God has given me this crown!"

To which, I said: "Deeply felt. Deeply said. It makes a big difference to teach, share and instill from the deepest part of one's being. It isn't a small testament this level of being true. It is an approach to one's authentic self; a place seldom ventured towards by most out of fear.

You have no fear, Shanelle you cannot recognize, remake and transform into action.

I am very proud of who you are and who you are in the world and who you are to your boys, and who you are to me.

These are my words." - Dawn Wolf, Keeper of Stories 9/11/16

Questions to the Alpha Male

Black diva conservative

 Am I a dream, or a possibility?

Are you Alpha worthy seems to be a question directed towards an Alpha male, and at the same time a question the woman, who has caught such a man's eye, should hear herself asking herself.

"Am I worthy of an Alpha Male?"

"Do I fit the profile he'd have? What is that profile, and deeper and beyond the surface of the profile what is the soul of such a man in need of a stands-beside-me-woman, and how strong am I, and what kind of a gift am I as a mate, a conduit, a friend, a source of power?"

These are obviously questions an extraordinary woman would ask. . . - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories 2.12.14

Water to the Thirsty!

I AM MY SISTERS KEEPER has taken the challenge to raise money for a great cause. Water...Often times we don't realize how blessed we are. This Healing Mission will help bring at least 50 people CLEAN water.

Many of us have no idea what it's like to be thirsty. We have plenty of water to drink -- even the water in our toilets is clean! But many people around the world don’t have that luxury. Every day, 5,000 kids die from water-related illnesses before they reach their fifth birthday. But it doesn't have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.

We started this fundraising campaign to help bring Hope for many that thirst all around the world, and we need your help!

Please donate to our campaign -- anything you can give is a huge help.
100% of the money will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped.

This Holiday Season choose to give back in such a way that it gives Healing Hope through Healing Water.

"But whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life."
~John 4:14

Passages

symbol of Woman & the Dakini by Keith Dowman

"Times would pass, old empires would fall and new ones take their place, the relations of classes had to change, before I discovered it is not the quality of good and utility which matter, but movement; not where you are, or what you have, but where you have come from, where you are going, and the rate at which you are getting there." - CLR James 1901 - 1989

Heart Song Stone Man

I've been on a short road trip with my wife, and when I travel I don't get on computers, and talking on the phone is rare. I don't own a cell phone. The phones don't live up to their assertions about connecting. It has added another dimension to disconnection I never anticipated as possible to an already disconnected population.  That little side step from the topic at hand has a lot to do with our on going discussion, but it is relevant to the questions you posed.

My work with the process of Rites-of-Passage is a natural offshoot from the upbringing I had with its attendant initiations and the ceremonies that got me here at this stage of life. I have been working as a Rites-of-Passage facilitator for some years now. If someone is looking for a title I could easily be called a ceremonial hunter. I spent many years honing a skill set in the forest tracking, stalking wild dogs, and other animals. I learned a great deal about covenant, death, risk, movement, space, stillness, time, eternity, ceremony, the hunt, etc. in those years applicable to various facets of modern life.

I have children. Four. The youngest child, a boy, is 18 years old. Two are in their early thirties, and my youngest daughter is in her late 20's. I think she is 28. I don't remember things like that easily. It is the moments I immerse myself into that renders the obsessions with clocks outside of my range of interests into shadows... - Gregory E. SANKOFA: vision of self

Alicia Key's elegant sense of womanhood

the SANKOFA Bird

“… Your vision hold’s your time. Your vision is like invisible oxygen needed to survive. As you have reflected upon these 3 basic yet critical elements you will find three key words as you travel. Faith, Belief, and Rememberance. You have to have the Faith to truly believe and to believe requires you to remember exactly where you have been to see where you are going. Recharge your vision. Your time traveling experience depends upon it. Don’t abort your destiny instead be prepared to Time Travel!!! – Shanelle Gayden

AGE, MYSTICISM, & MYSTERY: a creation story

SHANELLE GAYDEN, age & beauty re-defined

"Wait until a mystery unfolds before your eyes, Shanelle. When the years come, and you realize powers of maturation, of growth, and the development of the meaning of beauty cannot be contained in a moment, or a year something intangible will enter your being and you will become what many women, and the beauty industry, and fashion industry shun and/or downplay to young girls, and women..." - Gregory E. I AM MY SISTER'S KEEPER

COMPROMISE

What would you call going back and forth with God? For some strange reason we compromise with God. Realizing in the end negotiation is not needed to complete the will of God. The thought process that creates the idea of compromising is not living in obedience. Anyone can want the abundant blessings, but simply are not willing to obey the law. The times today may not involve the exact cycle of life revealed in the bible, but the bible reveals very similar situations we face today. When you think of law automatically authority comes to mind. God is the absolute authority over every dominion. The issue that becomes troublesome is when God sends direct confirmation, grants second chances, and even delivers you from past sinful nature, and then here comes the questions. These questions contradict the power of God, and basically call God a liar. So let us reveal the questions that you may ask.

1. “Why God?”
2. “God if I just do this one time?”
3. “It will be ok if I just try it to remember what it used to be like?”
4. “God you know I am not perfect; can you just forgive me again?”
5. “If I was delivered from what had me bound, and you rescued me from my past Egypt, can you help me if I travel back?”
6. “I should just give up, it hurts to bad, God do you want me to feel this way?”

At the time of the questions they sound logically to you. In reality all you’re doing is compromising with God. You cannot compromise with God. The law is to obey Gods word for your life. You don’t have to write the Ten Commandments across your chest or repeat 100 scriptures every hour- BUT YOU HAVE TO SURRENDER. What you’re up against is beyond your control, that thing you struggle to overcome is impossible without God. Don’t become complacent with governing yourself; let God govern you from this point on. Many will listen to worldly authority, and not even consider spiritual authority. Flesh means nothing to God. You cannot please God with your flesh. It is by your heart and spirit that allows God to enter. If our flesh moved our every action, many would not be reading this message right now. It is Grace that has set you free. When you compromise with God you second guess the glory that has already been reflected on your life. Remove all compromising questions and replace them with this simple phrase.

“God I am ready to serve you. Through it all you have waited for me while I impatiently waited for you. God heal me by renewing me in you”

I AM MY SISTERS KEEPER

WHAT MUSIC ARE YOU DANCING TO?

This week I prayed for something that will encourage in a different way, so let us begin. We will start with simple questions.

1. What is the sound coming from your mouth?
2. What movements have you made?
3. What step have you reached?
4. As you dance to the beat are you following your step or someone else's?
5. How can you describe the element of the Rhythm of your life?

Now when you answer these questions take a mental note and read in between the lines. The sound of your mouth should never forget to include praise for God. You movement may not be as dramatic as the March on Washington but what can or have you changed by making a difference. Your steps should be ordered by God to reach the top. When you enter the floor of your success don't worry about whose looking at you, and definitely don't stop to look at someone else. Own your steps and follow no other. The rhythm of the element of your life can range from soft to rocky, but is there PEACE in the mist. It can't be if you have not welcomed PEACE to your SONG...

Your lyric has a tune that should seek to please God, inspire others, and eliminate confusion. Open your mouth and speak life into your song. Pump yourself up! Get Loud with it! Dance until you just can't stop! Shake the negativity off!

YOU ROCK! DON'T LET ANYONE TELL YOU DIFFERENT. YOU HAVE THE ABILITY TO CREATE A SONG. NOT ANY ORDINARY SONG BUT AN EXTRAORDINARY SONG THAT BREATHES LIFE TO ORDINARY PEOPLE!

“I will sing a new song to you O God; on the ten stringed lyre I will make music to you” - Psalm 144:9
