Lauren Bacall, she was...

Lauren Bacall. Her beauty grabbed something embedded in the loins that expelled whatever was unnecessary to fathom the depths she came from and drew upon in her life. This is a Photo by Jack Mitchell on Getty Images.

Lauren Bacall splendid in her way of pulling on the loins, the imagination...

Lauren Bacall died at the age of 89 on August 12, 2014 without us ever meeting. Her being born September 16, 1924 perhaps has something to do with that disappointment. - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories 9/6/18

She as a story.

softly elegant woman by Stefan Teresiak. 2019.

"The soft elegance within youth has to be understood in the context of stages. What occurs when an elegant woman begins to mature, matures, and becomes an elegant old woman with substance, and depths?..." - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories 3/08/19

TIME in Quality.

Eva Gaëlle Green is a French actress and model. The daughter of actress Marlène Jobert, she started her career in theatre before making her film debut in Bernardo Bertolucci’s "The Dreamers".

I can only speculate from watching, and studying her eyes and the feel of her movements on camera. The young woman was born Eva Gaëlle Green on 5 July 1980 in Paris, France. Eva Green is a frighteningly beautiful woman! It seems timeless and effortless the way this gift establishes her roles.  She is a woman, who has made a deep impression on American audiences in the roles she has played. . . - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories 1/23/19

Timelessness is a quality in life we feel, and reflect upon because we recognize its essential element. It was reflected in core elements of Raquel Welch's life force that made her inaccessible, and at the same time gave timelessness to her draw on the imagination. - Gregory E. I'll be honest. I was stunned by Yolanda McClary's beauty, and the depth in her eyes. When she spoke her keen intelligence, and the straightforwardness of her character got to me. Then I paid attention to the details...- Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories 2/3/19

Extraordinary beauty shot on Mark 4 by Asad Abbas
Over time, some elements overwhelming our perceptions, remain. When they do we are reshaped by them in unseen ways of being present in our human experience. Precious few women have this capacity. Those who do are, at first, perceived. Are they real? The answer that comes to us tells a story...

We are shaped by how Beauty receives us.

Listen, young man!

". . . The intelligence and intensity in this woman's eyes speaks for an honest assessment of who a man is approaching her. This is a hint at the level of depth and insight my father gave me when I was a boy becoming a man. His instruction and example of manhood and masculinity shaped how each woman was to be perceived, and what I later instilled in my own daughters and my sons! Those not grasping the depth of who I am are also trying to grasp who they are because this teaching has everything to do with who you are this moment and what you may become in the next. It may be a riddle at this point, but it is a step towards who you were meant to be, and a study of who you are at this moment..." - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories 7/29/18

Vulnerable. Sasha Derik by Frederic Vire. [October 2018]
Vulnerability, gentleness, soft persuasion and quiet within stillness are integral to the feminine element. History records Europe's deep and long standing contempt for these attributes and white women, the source of what was and has the power to balance male energies! It is a dark history too entrenched in American thought life...

This photograph suggests a strength often overlooked in the political processes. - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories 11/01/18

eyes of model 菓子 by Andy Liu. September 2018.

What caught my eye was what a viewer asked. He want to know 'wuz up with her eyes?' My response was simple, on one level.

"What are you seeing? Probing question a man should ask of youth. If you look closer, the question innocence asks of itself, and of the possibility of losing or compromising innocence, you will be startled. It is a disturbing look, but is all around us. It is not that there is something wrong in the eyes; it is what is in the eyes? That is the question! That is start of the line of questions grandfathers should, and many do, pose to their grandsons. . ." - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories 10/07/18

What She Say Without Saying!!

Ditta Kucsik.
The compelling thing about this young woman, Ditta Kucsik, is the story in her eyes. Being from Hungary is its own compelling story, but the context of her story illustrated in her eyes is a beckoning; a beckoning to a beyond that present life, in the moment, does not know; but maybe a young man would take the urge within an embrace and make something of himself in the estimation made in the eyes of a woman like Ditta Kucsik! It is a wish this thought about this young woman, that needs a manifestation; not for a turn of events to take advantage of her ethereal qualities, but a need to understand how the soul of a woman can progress, or stand still in its pain, its revelations and make a way through the central part of a man's manhood.

Knowing these things makes for a better mind to set, to schedule what is important for the child to learn, and eventually become!
