ALIVE WITHIN
Lady has powers. It is in her eyes the intrigue, the mystery, the call soul to soul! The allure comes from nuance, and is not easy to resist with a grip on the loins, and the promise of being loved reciprocated! On a high plane of understanding the tension between the loins and loyalty, understanding resistance is important a subject to study from within the fires of want for another! - Dawn Wolf, Keeper of Stories

Understanding of a Man, an Artist.
Herb Ritts is one of the photographers I've admired and studied with my intellect trying to unravel a mystery in each frame. His themes vary, but the conceptual feel is consistent. It is a backrest for me, to conceptualize various ideas of an esoteric nature, you might say, and for the poetry of stillness in motion, his mastery of stillness in motion is a work from internal solitude; it is a quest. I am drawn to these elements; always have been.
It is a stupefying quest to unravel the mysterious elements because they are all in relationship with the individual and the collective, and they are guides in the tradition of Sankofa. In photographic compositions his stories have textures to feel by nuance, and suggestions from the learning processes. In esoteric language these are discoveries where belief is of no importance because this is essentially outside of ego, and intellectual pretense. It is the stuff we come from, we understood before, during and after birth.
It was during childhood understanding this language dissipated, or was encouraged to stay in one's daily vernacular. It depended upon the language the parents kept within them, or didn't that determined the direction these esoteric musings took within the child.
Somehow, it seems the esoteric starts with the feminine. Creation does. Why shouldn't this be a consistency in spiritual growth, and study? Birth is discovery, and discoveries birth one from each stage to the nest, where one matures.

Old Nature, New Day.
Alishaaa Mae moist with the glee of being freed from childhood into the beginning of discovering the nature of being a woman. That means there are paths to explore. Any old woman would tell her that. A wise one will show her how! Alishaaa Mae in the quest for who she can become as a woman makes her discoveries. "Are they not as important as landing on the moon, the stars?" is an obvious question. Without a translation what does the Punany say to the soul? ~ Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories 10/30/18
Wadi Rum (‘The Valley of the Moon’) in Jordan
Wadi Rum’s forbidding landscapes don’t look particularly hospitable, but people have lived here since prehistoric times. This extraordinary region of sand seas and towering mountains in southern Jordan includes ancient Thamudic petroglyphs carved into cliff faces. Byzantine monks seeking the ascetic life are said to have taken up residence in this harsh desert. And over the centuries, nomadic Bedouins have traversed the scorching sands, as they still do to this day.
Moviemakers are also drawn to the severe majesty here: Many films have Wadi Rum to thank for some of their epic sweep, including ‘Lawrence of Arabia,’ ‘The Martian,’ and the Star Wars spin-off, ‘Rogue One.’ ~ anon

Henna design on Marcy S. DePina somewhere in Marrakech, December 17, 2012.
I have fond memories of Marrakech. The Medina! The best place to go in any city.
Back when I was young in Morocco, and in ancient times henna was part of the evidence of women's exclusivity in a culture moored in the dominance of men, and Islam and the prophet Mohammed. There was, and is hidden sacred power women held within themselves. Rituals, like drawing geometric designs on hands, and face (I never saw a woman's feet) maintained mystique and quiet powers within the household, and the men they married, and loved. It was deep the love a boy had for his mother, but at the age he went with the men created adoration for Mother, the way a man feels with deeper appreciation for the roles played by both genders.
There is a lot in Henna. - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories 10/30/18

Simple Moments
"Moonrise"
Christmas Night, 2015
After shooting photos through sunset at Watson Lake, I decided to stick around, despite the freezing cold, and see if long-exposure photos at night would turn out anything good.
My hands were almost completely numb from the cold, as I had to take them out of ski gloves any time I wanted to adjust my camera's settings.
As I shot various photos, I noticed some brightness on the horizon. "Rats, those stupid city lights are going to ruin my photos" I thought. But, the lights kept getting brighter, and brighter... until I realized those were no city lights. It was the rising moon! Shortly after the moon rose over the horizon I captured this photo of Watson lake. ~ Vern Jensen, photographer 2/05/2016

ELDER TALK: understanding
Introspection evolves around stillness the way stillness requires attentiveness to surface within a person learning to learn from themselves about the worlds within them. It isn't a revolutionary process; it is transformative within the quiet of Being.
"Who am I alive?" is a question to ask in these moments of knowing. - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories [September 28, 2018]

A Study in Manhood.
Mia Malkova in tennis shoes and jean shorts defines a special. Understanding the special is fundamental to the riddle of a whore's dynamic role. The perspective of a whore has two eyes: how a man uses her, and what the healer needs to help her healing the angst of her soul. It is pondered, the theft of soul, understanding why she is important to the equation of vitality vs. elements that detract from the whole, and the need for wholeness whores express in their actions.
It may sound like a riddle; it is, but on the outside of that vernacular is understanding of the human condition that created a role for a woman to play. When in our collective history did the two-sided role the whore plays within forget men's role as a whore himself? If a whore is merely a woman's role the denial of men cannot possibly follow the rules of simple math: (x + y = z).

Mia Malkova soft in this purple ensemble and in this position tugs hard at the loins. In the code of deep manhood the determinative element is within the will. But, the will has to be defined. Is a man a whore, the woman a whore, and if so how does one devalue what she does not have as an estimated value to honor? - Dawn Wolf, Keeper of Stories 9/25/18

Forbidden fruit by J. Alex.
"Simply put forbidden fruit is the knowledge and wisdom hidden from the uninformed, the crude uninitiated. What Adam did was take in what he was not prepared for and Eve is guilty of not knowing enough. She gave to her mate what he was unprepared for, and she unprepared to carry within her undeveloped womb. Women feed their men and children from the fruits developed within her soul. . ." - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories 8/31/18

IN the Hebrew Mystery Teachings...
Simple the innocent conceptual feel of worth within the ease of Kalisy touching the guardian within a real man. It is a flow easily received if held honestly within the poetry of soul. How a finger touches fragrance tells a woman about a man. How she touches him in reciprocation whispers into the essential purpose of man with woman. Eve fed Adam a forbidden fruit. Fully aware of what the loss to his world would feel like he broke the law he knew, and ate of the forbidden fruit. Loss of a woman is worth the risk to her man's soul is the testimony of this Hebrew story. He had reacted badly to his first wife's spirit, and to lose another was unbearable. Unbearable was the punishment he and Eve suffered banished from the Garden of Eden.
Only in the Book of Adam and Eve is the texture of loss told, and felt by anyone not there to experience their ordeal in the aftermath of their disobedience... - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories 12/06/18

Complexity of thisThought Process.

Tiffany Haddish appeared at The New York Film Critics Circle.
"A lady is defined by attributes that contribute to the notion and process involving the total self becoming balanced and full of the Life given by the Creator to be a woman in the deep spheres of feminine energies. That is one definition. Apparently, in American life, masculine hued femininity is the closest proximation to safety a woman can embrace. For a man, like me, such a choice is understandable, but disappointing. I grew up with ladies. My mother was a lady, as are the aunts I grew up with. So, I know the difference intuitively because it is an essence, not a political statement that carries integrity and dignity. In addition, feminine energy was designed to be balanced by masculine energies. . ."
